  1. Eric Benoit did an excellent job in cleaning the drain from kitchen sink out to septic tank on 9/28/22. He also detected a leak in the bathroom drainpipe, assessed the condition of the pipes from kitchen catch basin to septic and estimated the cost of replacing these pipes. Eric and Dan returned on Friday, 9/30/22 to replace said pipes, and they did an outstanding job. Their work ethic was excellent. They went over and above what they were expected to do and helped us in keeping our pipes in working order. They were friendly and polite. Their estimate was almost to the dollar! They are highly recommended!

  2. Gilbert and Chris were great. Unbelievable work and finally great customer service from someone these days. Explained everything and fixed my leak and backup for my Parents in their 80’s. If I ever need company again I am gonna ask for them. Absolutely a pleasure!

  3. Gilbert and Chris were amazing technicians!! We are thankful that we got Gilbert whom is an experienced technician, as he was patient and trouble shot the problem. Gilbert and Chris make a great team as Gilbert is able to explain what the procedure is going to be and what would be the alternative if it did not work, and Chris was able to answer any questions that I had. They both made sure that the issue was solved prior to leaving, and made me inspect the work that they had done to see if I was happy. Not only did they solve the issue, but Gilbert discussed how the issue could be prevented in the future and what steps I needed to take to keep all my drains happy. Extremely happy with the quality and customer service that both Gilbert and Chris provided.

  4. Our church drain pipes were clogged. We were able to schedule an appointment online… very easy process. Technician Joe Emory arrived as scheduled. He
    was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained everything he was going to do. Drain was cleared and seems to be flowing nicely. Thanks Joe!

    From assessment to completion, this project couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Boston Standard staff was consistently punctual and professional, work was clean and organized. The inefficient WeilMcClain boiler relied on a maze of piping to supply our radiators and storage tank and was sitting on over 24 sq ft of limited basement space. The new wall mounted Lochinvar combi system gave us unobstructed paths to our laundry area, with clear supply lines, an easily accessible shutoff/purge valve for multiple zones. Air intake/venting were strategically placed to avoid patio area (which was greatly appreciated for aesthetic reasons). The electrical team was equally impressive utilizing the existing chase to run wiring for multiple thermostats, exterior sensor and multiple zone relay. The project managers were constantly involved and followed up to ensure all worked well. The rebate team ensured we sent in required documentation in a timely manner. This project moved us from a system 75% efficiency rating to a top of the line 95%. We truly appreciated the varied possibilities offered during the initial walk through. This knowledgeable team ensured that we set our house up to meet energy needs right now and for expansion projects in the near future. It was lovely to work with a company that layered in all necessary teams from assessment and planning, to removal and disposal of old equipment to complete installation with both electrical and plumbing and to receive high quality service from all.

    We’ve been customers of Boston Standard for years and have always been so happy with them. They are very responsive and have a great team of friendly and knowledgeable professionals. We had a bathroom floor being replaced and needed the toilet pulled and then reinstalled after the floor dried. The scheduler did a wonderful job (as always) working around my timeline. Brian did a great job with the pull and the other technician with the reinstall (who’s name I’ve forgotten sorry!) both were super efficient, knowledgeable and such genuinely nice guys. Great company! Thanks to you all.

    My experience is always wonderful with. Boston Standard. They text me to let me know the technician is on the way and send their name/photo so I’ll know ahead of time who is coming. Brent was great! On time, professional and explained exactly what he was doing. Clean up afterward which shows great respect for my home. They are a consistent 5 star company!

    I was without heat for several days and when other companies didn’t have appointments, I was able to get serviced soonest with Boston Standard. Bill dedicated several hours to servicing my boiler and replacing the parts needed. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through what was needed to get the job done. I’m very thankful to Bill and the team at Boston Standard for getting my heat up and running again. I would absolutely recommend their services.

    Our inducer broke on a Friday. Service technician was scheduled to arrive between 8 am and noon EST on Sunday. We received a text message at 11:59 am EST from Boston Standard indicating the technician was on his way – 1 minute prior to the window they provided to us for his arrival. Service technician did not ultimately arrive until 2:15 pm. Service technician inspected the unit and indicated the inducer needed to be replaced along with a diaphragm pressure switch. He indicated to us the parts had been replaced in April 2022 – only putting the parts at 9 months old. This was the same month we purchased the unit – previous owner had a home protection plan covering AC and heating. The service technician thought it was odd that the parts needed to be replaced so soon. He quoted us the cost to replace ($1,676) but indicated we should speak with the main office since he was unsure based on the account history of the unit if the parts were ever replaced or if they were replaced if they would be covered under warranty. My wife called Monday morning and the call center team indicated they were aware of the issue and a manager would call back after reviewing the case with the service technician. We received an email Monday afternoon from the customer service team and they indicated management policy was to not transfer warranties from one homeowner to another. We called the customer service team back and indicated that we understood but still wanted to speak with a manager to discuss if the parts were ever installed, root cause of why they broke etc. My wife was unable to speak with a manager and tried again two wards close of business on Monday unable to successfully speak with anyone other than the call center team. She tried again on Tuesday morning and I tried this time as well. No luck. In the interim, we received a quote from a competitor company for the same parts for $658 including labor. ~1k less than Boston Standard. We indicated to the Boston Standard customer service team that we wanted to continue with them since they had our unit history and were aware of the problems that might go wrong in the future. Still this did not change the ability of the customer service team to connect us with management. 1 star review for the cost position of the company, promptness of the service technician, responsiveness of management and for the support management provide to their customer service team and ultimately end customers.

    I had a challenging situation to fix a leaking soapstone sink drainage and manage furnace condensate. Matt came to the house and analyzed the situation, while presenting options as a solution. after I reviewed his options I came up with a new approach which I presented to him on the telephone. he came over to review the situation with me personally. we came to an Optimal solution. furthermore his fixed price was very reasonable though the work might have involved a more time than expected. Artie did the plumbing installation with discussions presenting the risks and alternatives. He proceeded to remove the failed drainage lines and install the new drainage with quality and care. His work was most professional as well as his suggestions helpful to me. The company is called Plumbing Solutions. Plumbing Solutions created a good plumbing solution for me. Matt went out of his way to ensure that I achieved the right solution.

    Artie, who is from Plumbing Solutions was amazing. He was on time, and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my shower fixture issue and fix it, leaving no mess. He also gave me some advice on upkeep and to avoid issues on the fixture. I have used Plumbing Solutions since around 2010 and they have never let me down. Every experience is a professional one that ends with the problem being solved and me felling really great about the experience. You cannot go wrong using Plumbing Solutions, in fact in my opinion not using them is the wrong move.

    Our son, Rob, referred Plumbing Solutions to us. They did some work at his home in Walpole and was extremely satisfied! We called to have a couple of drains unclogged and also needed to have a leaking pipe repaired. Ultimately, we needed to have a part of the soil pipe replaced and also a pipe under the bathroom sink. The result was outstanding! The leak was fixed and we were informed every step of the way. There were no surprises! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! We are looking to put in another bathroom and they are first on our list to call! In fact, we wouldn’t consider anyone else, we were that pleased! Artie and Chris are the absolute best!
