  1. Just such a great experience. Manuel- Alex and Courtney were excellent. They were professional, knowledgeable, punctual and kind. This is the company you need to use if you have any water damage to your property. If I could even begin to explain all of the moving parts of what you need to deal with when you have a flooded basement this would be a 2 page post.   2. I had bathtub drain issues,Queens NYC. called roto set up an appointment and Joe was the plumber that showed up. Very professional and knowledgeable, well spoken. Explained the process and took care of the issue. Excellent service, but the bill was on the high side.

  3. Both Anthony and Eric, the intern, were very good and cleaned up after their repairs. Anthony even gave me a 30% discount when I told him I ‘d have them come back and would think about the repairs. They did a good thorough job and guaranteed their work for 6 months.

  4. My Tech was amazing! Very professional, courteous, polite, personable… Went above and beyond. What I most appreciated is their services being 24/7; I needed last minute service (after 6 o’clock in the evening) and received my confirmation for the same day – the tech got there a little after 8 pm. Worked very well, and I was beyond pleased.

  5. He explained everything to me and regards to what had to be done and asked if I was satisfied with the price and the service I agreed and he. Performed the service. Then he cleaned up afterwards and I haven’t had a problem ever since. I would like to thank him and the company for an excellent staff. He was extremely professional. He gets a 10 for that.

    I was very very impressed with this company – they came out to replace my water main via American Water Resources insurance – they must be very well staffed because they came the very next day after they inspected it initially. A team of maybe 4-6 people replaced my water main connecting it to the city water line, digging deep 4-5’ holes – which looked very laborious, they were super efficient, started a little before 8am and were 100% done by 4pm! Wow! And everyone I came in touch with, starting with the people on the phone, were clear, concise, pleasant and organized. I couldn’t believe how smoothly it went, especially since insurance was involved. It’s been about half a year now, so I can vouch that their work has held up perfectly so far!

    I wish I could rate way more than the five stars provided! I had a back-up in the basement bathroom and it was because the sewer trap was clogged. Unfortunately, when I went to clear it out I dropped both caps in the pipes and could not get them out. That’s when I searched online and found Balkan. All of the reviews I read gave me confidence that I was calling the right plumbing service. Everyone that I spoke to from Customer Service to George the Plumber were super friendly and informative all along the way. When George came out he took his time to diagnose the situation and provided several options. He kept me in the loop regarding costs during the entire job. He solved the issue at a very affordable price. George and the Balkan company treated me and my family like one of their own. I wholeheartedly recommend them if you have a plumbing issue.     The 5 star rating is not an exaggeration. I had an issue in my basement where water was pooling in a few areas and there was a smell. Contacted Balkan and got an appointment for the next day. Their communication and updates up until the worker came was phenomenal. Brian got here within the allotted time, had a look around and immediately knew what the issue was. Everything was remedied within an hour. I cannot recommend this company enough.

    On Friday, October 21st, I made an appointment with Christina who was very helpful and professional. She gave me an appointment window of 9am-1pm. At about 9:30am, I received a call from Andre Seetal. I showed him the sewer main leak in the basement and he then proceeded to tell me what the workers were going to do. He made us feel comfortable and at ease. He said the job would take one day. Also, he quoted us a decent price. He said we needed to replace the lead pipe to a copper one smaller in size and also install a curb valve on the sidewalk in front of our house. Bright and early on Monday, Michael and his crew began working on the sewer main line and in the basement. They finished around 5pm. Over the next few days, other Balkan employees would come by to do additional work on the sidewalk and street. I can’t say enough good things about Balkan. Thank you!

    If i could give Bill 10 stars I would. He arrived on time and he was experienced, nice, and extremely professional. My boiler was not working properly and he was knowledgeable and patient. He showed me how to maintain the boiler. He explained the cause of the issue and made sure that everything was fixed prior to leaving. He told me the cost prior to fixing the issue and i never felt pressure. I highly recommend Bill and this company. I will use them from this point forward.     This review may be a bit late but as I go through my invoices and records as the year draws to an end, I wanted to make sure to mention that Ranshaw Plumbing and Heating really saved the day for me back in September, and I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for a quality plumbing service in the area. My old water heater sprang a leak that managed to flood the basement. It was pretty awful but I called Ranshaw and the wonderful Gigi really helped me out, calmed me down, and got service to my house the next morning. Gigi, you are the unsung hero of Ranshaw! I hope they know what a gem they have in you. The Ranshaw crew showed up promptly and got everything fixed quickly and efficiently. They also replaced a valve that would not close all the way (which added to the flooding woes), installed the new water heater and took the old one away so I did not have to deal with that. Now the hot water is great and plentiful, heats up right away. I only wish I had called them BEFORE the leak! But that’s on me, and Ranshaw really helped alleviate a bad situation quickly, which was and is much appreciated.

    Our experience dealing with Ranshaw has been great. We had to replace our oil heat boiler and about 55 feet of copper return line. Every single person that we came in contact with, from Hing who came to take a look and diagnose the problem, to Rich who came to give us an estimate, to the crew of installers, every single person was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was coordinated seamlessly. The installers were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, fast, clean. Thankfully, Ranshaw has a good team, and that is really hard to come by nowadays. Also they guarantee their work. We are so glad we chose them for this job. A stressful and expensive situation turned out to be a job well done. Honestly, it was a pleasure dealing with them.

    Arnold and Matt were a pleasure to work with. I had a boiler that was not working properly. Arnold throughly explained what was wrong, and how to fix it. The part was replaced quickly and I had heat!! If you have a plumbing issue, call Ranshaw, you will not be disappointed!!

    Arthur and Matt were exceptional. Trustworthy, quick in response time, quick to diagnose and fix the problems. Arthur explained what the issue was and how he was going to repair and also gave me tips on weekly maintenance I can do to keep the problem from reoccurring. Anthony in the office made special efforts to have their top guy come out to fix the potentially deadly Carbon Monoxide problem.
