  1. Scott and Kelly came out to help us on this project and they could not have been nicer, more considerate to our house, and more knowledgeable. I absolutely trust these guys and they will be my first call for my next issue.
    I want to add that while Gold Seal was the best bid I received, they also offered longer “top to bottom” warranty coverage and a free one year membership to their preferred club.

  2. My appointment with Gold Seal Plumbing, earlier this week, met all my expectations. Both Ben and Stan were responsible for this. They were both professional and personable – easy to have working in the house. I had two lists when they arrived. One I hoped to accomplish that day. All items were completed, and we were able to pull two items from the upcoming list. One was reworking a laundry sink dating back to the original construction of the house in 1949. It is very retro and I really wanted to save it. Ben installed a new faucet and plumbing. During the call. we discussed each scope of work. When I had questions they were answered clearly and completely. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with both Ben and Stan and I wish them the best. In the future I would definitely call Gold Seal Plumbing again. The magnetic business card is on my refrigerator.

His experience shone through and I felt like he had genuine concern to help unlike some places that push to sell additional value added services. 5/5, would happily work him with again.   4. Daryl and Ben were fantastic. Daryl was very informational and communicative. I felt comfortable as soon as they started working and explaining what was likely going on behind the scenes before opening up the cabinet/wall to see it. After inside the space repairing one pipe, another break that wasn’t initially visible, was found and repaired. Again, told me immediately what was happening and what needed to be done. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely call Daryl again when we need more plumbing assistance.

  5. Steve and Jamison installed 2 backwater flow valves on my drains in the basement. They were both very professional and did an excellent job. I highly reccommend them to everyone.

    We had them come out and fix a toilet/tub clog. I was left completely SHOCKED at how unprofessional the technician was. Super condescending until he realized a man also lived with me in our house. Whole attitude changed upon talking with my fiancé who luckily came home during his lunch at my request because I didn’t feel comfortable having the technician in our house. On top of it, the whole experience was about an hour and a half, not much was found and he decided to write it up for an ASTRONOMICAL amount for what he did. I work with the public daily, I have never treated any of my clients the way I was treated. Especially if I were to go in to their homes! . I am not one to write bad reviews either unless they are completely warranted. This one is. Do not recommend! Especially if a man is not on the premises, no reason to ever be put in a position like I was. And if you can, look for quotes elsewhere because this place is a total rip off.

    Had them come out to fix my kitchen faucet on 12/27. I was given a heads up at the hourly rate for the first hour by the tech ($349.00….not a holiday, just a regular day of the week.) He explained what the fix might be, gave me an idea of how to do it but I had him go ahead with it regardless as I don’t have the tools or know-how when it comes to plumbing. I had a clogged filter in the head of my faucet….5 min fix costing $315.00 (which included $50 off). The tech fixed it…didn’t show me how to do it, just told me. Never explained if he replaced the filter, took the old one out which I assumed he rinsed and put back in. I have never cried before after receiving a bill, but I did with this one. I will not be returning.

    super fast response time and Samuel H was a great representative. He communicated very effectively as he walked through the troubleshooting and ultimately remedy. The hourly cost is not cheap, but Samuel worked extremely diligently to minimize time and expense impact.

    Andry and Hayden were great!!! They came in found the plumbing issue and fixed it.. I called in the morning and they were there by the early afternoon. Nice gentleman who I would work with again. ¡Andry y Hayden fueron asombrosas! Ellos llegaron a las 2pm y arreglé mi problema de plomería.

    Shaw replaced a burst hose bib and let me know up front that there was a chance our main shutoff valve might need to be replaced, and gave me separate costs for each item. They were able to do the hose bib repair and stopped the leak at the shut off without replacing it, but said to be prepared to replace it since it would likely start leaking the next time someone turned it off. They were honest and upfront about all of the repairs, and I decided to have them replace the main valve since they were there. it was well worth it. They sent photos of the work with their invoice since I am working on the other side of the state when this happened. I will be using Shaw again for any plumbing work.

    Terrin and Ryan completely rebuilt my Washing room drain and did a fantastic job. They made sure to properly vent the drain and everything was brought up to code. They were punctual, friendly and kept me informed on what the were doing during and after the job was complete. I will be having a new plumbing added in a few weeks for a shower and feel confident that i will be just as happy with the work for that as i am with the wash drain installation.     Best experience ever with a plumbing service! My technician Mekie assessed the bathroom sink and knew immediately what needed to be repaired. He had the part needed and promptly replaced it. His business card says Clean, Friendly, Professional. I’d add All Around Good Guy as well. I would highly recommend Shaw Plumbing Services to all I know!
