What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. We had a fun time doing mini golf but I noticed a lot of repairs needed from the statues/cave rock and the bridge there is a big hole in it. So be careful when crossing it. My nephew almost stepped on it. I gave it three stars because it wasn’t that clean. The bathrooms we’re nasty and not kept up with.

  2. Mini golf is in serious need of repairs and updates. Paint is faded and chipping. Animal props are falling apart. Water feature wasn’t on, leading to standing water which looked nasty. Concrete walkway was broken and uneven. This was not only unsightly, but a tripping hazard. Many of the holes (which are very basic) were affected by the uneven ground. Batting cages didn’t work; the feed system was jammed. Workers acted like they didn’t want to be there. Management should address these issues soon.

  3. Great experience playing laser tag and go Karting. I wish the track is a little bigger and or faster go karts

My kids really really enjoyed. Being weekday was blessing in disguise, no more long lines to wait …

  4. Went during spring break. We had a fun time. The mini golf course was very long lol, but nonetheless enjoyable. The go karts we’re my sons favorite. They were shaking a bit too much for me, but still fun. The bumper boats were closed, so do check prior to arrival.. The arcade was fun also! The pizza was pretty decent, not too large of a menu selection.. didn’t get to try the laser tag yet.. gave this place 4 stars simply because my son really enjoyed himself, however, the park itself can use some improvements and upgrades. Overall 7 out of 10 recommend 😁

  5. There was an arcade right when you walk in, ticket counter directly ahead on walking route, next to it a concession stand, soft drinks, ice cream, foods and some, it’s also where you check-in. You can choose to buy credits for the arcade and the batting cages or buy a round, multi pass or 3 hr pass to the attractions, lazer tag, mini golf, gocarts, Jr gocarts and bumper boats.
Fyi, getting to the bumper boats and the carts with a stroller/ wheel chair is tough for one individual, deep cut stairs leading to the gocarts or a road with high speed bumps that leads to and through another parking lot and then a back entrance right where the Jr go carts are located straight ahead. Walking in the back entrance left is big carts, right is restrooms and bumper boats. My advice strollers/ wheelchairs go back out the original entrance door coming in the building to the parking lot, go left to the same back entrance to the additional attractions. Across from the concession stand is Lazer tag, restrooms and an eating area. The back door out of the eating area leads to mini golf and the walk way to batting cages, as well as the carts and boats.

-Overall fun priced at $90ish trip for 3 boys and with Groupon’s attractions discount.
    -great time with the kids!

Jake is a first class hitting coach who has helped our son become a better and smarter hitter. He’s always on time, engaging and focused during lessons. Thank you Jake and D-Bat!

I was going to give only one star, but Avery was very helpful and nice ON the phone. This place has poor management to leave a teenager in charge of a facility like this. This was the biggest letdown ever for my child. After talking to Avery on the phone about all the information and what they have to offer we were excited to sign up for $80 a month membership and get several lessons. We have never been there before and have never used batting cages before. After paying for our first round of swipes to test it out, thankfully we did. I asked her what we did next and I was hoping she was going to give us a tour of the facility or at least show us where the batting cages were. She just pointed inside over there. Once going to the back, there were teenagers everywhere obviously in one group hogging all the machines. One party should not take up every machine. If there was an adult in charge or somebody else on duty that could go back there and monitor it or keep reminding them that other people would like to pay money and play as well, maybe we would have purchased the membership. I would think a business that is about to make $100 plus a month would at least give us a tiny bit of customer service. And now after reading the past reviews of how poorly managed the machines are and that they don’t work, i’m glad I did not waste my money.

Trainers are great. Staff nice. Machines don’t always work and don’t work well all the time. Smells at times. Needs to be cleaned more. But gets the job done, at least with the Training staff.

My friends and I went to this location for a birthday at first the employee was very kind but 5 min into our session that I paid close to 100 dollars that the machine did not work. Our group was not notified about the faulty equipment and had to ask for help numerous times before she told us that it just didn’t work. She said we should share with another group but that didn’t make much sense to us Especially with everything going on with Covid 19. We called the the manager and all he had to say was that we could not receive a discount or get our money back. Definitely felt like we got scammed.

I have always loved this place, honestly. I am giving 4 stars only because they REALLY need to update their softball cages. Their baseball ones work, so I sometimes end up hitting off of baseballs; which is t necessarily a bad thing. But I would like to be able to hit softballs. There is now ONLY one cage that semi works, so please please get them fixed! The people are so sweet though! Today when I consistently had problems, one of the trainers who worked tried their best to fix it. They really have amazing people, who try their best to fix the cages right when you ask!

Fantastic experience at D-BAT Addison! Coach Michael Vasquez’s private lessons are above and beyond expectation! They deliver results for my 9-year old son and are laser focused on his development. My son’s batting has improved dramatically and Michael is the person who has taught my son how to slide base properly. The facilities are nice and we enjoy using the batting cages and interacting with the staff. We took advantage of the bring-a-friend to winter camp promotion and both boys loved it!

Our kids love coming here for camps and batting practice. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences; the coaches/employees are fantastic and always so helpful.

My 13 yr old son visits often from Connecticut. For weeks prior to his arrival, he’s already asking if we can visit D-bat in Addison! From the awesome staff to the excellent facility, he spends time honing his skills. According to his dad, the batting cages back home don’t offer the caliber of services D-bat does. My son has increased his hitting and we are thrilled with his progress. Also, employees are softball/baseball players themselves and have provided tips to him which he has brought back to his team, impressing his coaches. A special shout-out to Junior and Ryan for making Gregory’s experience special. He’ll be visiting again in October, and his birthday gift request? A gift card to D-bat! Thanks again. Barbie Paquet

Big shout out to Sir and Matt! Matt patiently helped me with a billing issue while Sir was more than encouraging to my two guys. Good, respectful customer service is rare these days, and these two young men went out of their way to help me. I really appreciate their attentiveness to my questions.

I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to deter at least one person from giving D-Bat Addison a try. I have taken my son many times and there are usually only 2 cages of the 3 open. The same was true of our experience tonight. We tried both cages and had a terrible experience with each one. On the first machine the balls were coming in extremely high or extremely low…I’m talking in the dirt low. Using the up and down buttons didn’t work either. Then the machine would run out of balls half way through a credit. The second machine only had enough for one round of balls before picking up and none of those were able to be hit because they were also way too high, every single one. It was frustrating and a complete waste of time and money. I told my concerns to the young lady working at the desk and all she could say was “uh huh, I’m sorry. I’ve adjusted those machines so many times today. I’ll let the manager know.” I gave her my card which still had 10 credits left and let her know to tell the manager that D-Bat Allen never looked better.
