    McMahon has been my homebase for almost a year now!

    The staff here understands that everyone has their own pace. At the same time they will be gently nudging you to the next level. They are very ‘newbie’ friendly.

    If you are looking to reinforce your strengths and work on your weaknesses, McMahon Training Center is certainly a great opportunity to do so.

  2. Finnie and his team of coaches are so good with the kiddos. They not only do a great job teaching jiu jitsu but they also teach discipline, self confidence, respect and how to handle bullies. I highly recommend them!

  3. McMahon TC has been great for my 13-year-old son, and for me as well. He loves it, is learning, and is very engaged. The School has been great for me, with excellent instructors, fun and useful training, and fellow students who are great to train with. I’m older, but this school is for all ages. Highly recommended!

  4. We have been taking our kids to McMahon training center for over 5 years and for the past year the whole family of four has been training. And I have to say it’s like our second home. The owner and the staff are phenomenal and the cultural is great for people looking to just get a workout in or looking to train for a competition. Hands down the best place to train in northern Colorado.

    We love so much about Ripple Effect Martial Arts including the amazing team of instructors and the convenient location, and most importantly the powerful impact this team has had on our twin 7 year old daughters – their confidence is soaring and they have found a passion they both love. One twin started before the other did, and the positive energy, attention and fun drew the other into wanting to do karate over other activities she was considering. The mental and behavioral development is awesome and an investment. After earning her Gold Belt, one of our daughters woke up the next day and the first thing she said to me, “Mommy, Did you remember I earned my gold belt!” She was so excited and they look forward to each class.

    My daughter has stared martial arts classes at Ripple effect a month ago. We really like it. In addition to martial arts they also teach about self-confidence, discipline, initiative, focus. The instructors are thoughtful and try to make it interesting and fun for the kids and also interact personally with the parents to get feedback. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter learn and grow at Ripple effect.

    We have been loving our time at Ripple Effect. The instructors are thoughtful, attentive and while they do meet kids where they are at, I feel they also give healthy encouragement to push themselves further. As a parent, I love how structured everything is about there’s always constant and consistent communication and ways to engage outside of mat time. I see the confidence building and it’s so exciting. Highly recommend!

    We signed the kids up and my wife and I joined right after. I love participating in the classes and I’ve earned my Gold Belt already! I have a new perspective on some things in life now that are a blessing and the Fort Collins instructors are FANTASTIC! I’m beyond impressed as they are not only qualified as black belts, but they are creative and funny and man dad gets to get into better shape 100%. Love it!     I came here to try BJJ out for the first time. I was nervous about trying this, having no prior experience and being an overweight guy. Turns out I had nothing to worry about – I’ve been training for just over a month now, and I love it. Matt and Troy have established a great culture in this school, and all of the students I’ve met and trained with do an excellent job of maintaining it. Everyone has been very open, helpful, friendly, non-judgmental, and safety oriented. At the same time, you can tell the instructors and students are still serious about teaching/learning and improving their skills. If you even have the slightest inkling that you might want to try any of the programs this school offers, just go for it. I wish I had started sooner.

    This is a great place for any age and experience level! They have built a great culture here. After checking out a few other gyms I found that they truly care about the students and do this because they want to, not because they feel like they have to. They have an excellent teaching style and take the time to learn your goals and experience level so they can better help everyone. All of the other students are great and will help anyone regardless of your age or experience.
