What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Very lucky to have this restaurant recommended by some of the locals. Great food and such a beautiful setting in the heart of downtown Savannah. And, a big thank you to James our server who surely made our experience even more memorable. From his conversation to helping us select the right dishes to order.
Note: Recommend making a reservation in advance for dinner.

  2. Amazing French restaurant with diverse menu . The food is delicious- highly recommend their steak tartare . Restaurant is packed so better make a reservation prior your visit. Interior and atmosphere is very cozy and stylish. Cocktails are great too. Despite the fact that it was busy night our waiter gave us full attention and did a great job – overall great experience.

  3. This is my second time frequenting this beautiful French restaurant in Savannah. The place is completely haunted and spectacular with a delicious old-school rich French vibe. We had a wonderful experience here once prior and I was excited to go back… The only reason I gave four out of five stars is because everything seemed a little colder than I like or a little warmer than I like. Tonight we had the beet salad, the crab cakes, the duck, the chicken, and a Caesar salad… we also had chocolate moose, some sort of pastry, and the crème brûlée which was lavender💜 for dessert. Everything in terms of flavor was delicious and rich but the salad was a little warm and the dishes a little cool. Plus we had a bottle of champagne and it seemed a little warm until they put it on ice after the first glass. Maybe that was because they were very busy, even though our reservation was at 9 PM on a Thursday night. I get it ….staffing is an issue right now. Overall I love this place but I am pretty particular about the temperature of my food. However I will say that our waiter whose name was Clint was literally divine. He took such good care of us and that made up for any temperature discrepancies in our food. I would definitely go back for the ghosts alone😳💗

  4. What a wonderful dining experience! Our waitress Betty was very welcoming and interesting to talk to. The tomato bisque was amazing and our group agreed that it was the best tomato based soup we’ve ever had. Other significant dishes that we really enjoyed included the freshly baked bread, beet salad, trout, duck, and steak. The chocolate mousse and creme brulee for dessert were so delicious as well! You should definitely check this place out.

  5. Dining was a wonderful experience! Arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar in the pub are. The bartenders are so lively! Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out! Food was delicious!

I stayed in Savannah 3 days, and I ate here every morning. It’s this beautiful small French shop that makes crepes fresh to order. The coffee was strong and rich. And the pastries were not only delicious but also absolutely beautiful. We even took a fresh baguette back to the hotel to snack on throughout our stay. Definitely the best way to start the day.

Delicious!!! oh so yummy. This bakery has wonderful breakfast items including crepes (& gluten free ones) buttery croissants, and breakfast sandwiches. Lunch sandwiches, salads, quiche, and soup round out the lunch menu. Many coffee options and other drinks. Reasonably priced. You must go, when in Savannah. You’ll leave feeling full and happy.

Black coffee was excellent, breakfast sandwich was simple and tasty on a baguette and the chocolate croissant was light and not too crispy. There are several tables to sit at with lots people watching. Lots of to go orders come through as you sit. It did take a long time to get our food so keep that in mind if you are on a schedule. There is free wifi and window seating

Wish I could give them 10 stars. Delicious food! We met the owner who was so kind. And the people at the counter as well. Did I mention the food was delicious? Pictured is the Versailles sandwich. Didn’t even get a photo of the raspberry croissant with passion fruit filling and the tart we got before it was gone – my family loved this absolute gem of a spot and will be returning when in Savannah again to this delightful café. Absolutely recommend.

Been wanting to come here and my experience was great, small café with enough space for max 15 people. The food and beverage were great for a reasonable price. Would definitely come back. A must stop for a sandwich

I hosted my graduation dinner at this restaurant. Everything was just amazing! The manager always answered any questions I had and helped set up the arrangements for my 15 guests. Everyone was just very kind and the service was great!! All my guest loved the meals and desserts that they ordered. If anyone is looking to have any type of group dinner, I would highly recommend this place.

For as expensive as this place was, I wasn’t super impressed. I will say the appetizers were absolutely fabulous. I hate oysters and I’ve never had escargot but I would go back for both of those dishes (oysters Rockefeller). Had the lamb for dinner and was able to try to filet and the Riley. I thought they were underseasoned and lacking something that I can’t quite put my finger on. Definitely not worth the $50 plus dollars/plate. The steak frites served with the filet were delicious! Dessert, again just ok. Disappointed in entrees but would go again for apps.

This might be the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. My girlfriend treated us for our one year anniversary celebration and ordered the Duck Two Ways, the North Atlantic Salmon, and a bottle of pinot noir and everything was amazing. The service and ambience were excellent as well. We will be back!

I love the ambiance here with the beautiful animal paintings around the dining room. I ordered the salmon and it was sweet and prepared well.
