What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. The place and cats were very lovely! The place was very neat and clean with a variety of cats around. The cats were calm and playful and so I had a very good time interacting with them. The employees were also very kind and helpful when help was needed. I would definitely come back and visit the place again!

One specific orange kitty was super playful and loving and stayed on my lap for a long time 🙂

  2. Wow – or rather, meow! I’ve been to eight cat cafés throughout the U.S. and KitTea is by far the best of the bunch!

The space is so well-maintained, full of cat furniture, toys, Litter robots, and plenty of space for the cats to socialize and play. Time truly does just fly in a one-hour session!

Their store is phenomenal, with lots of unique art, accessories, decorations, and cat toys to choose from. They also give guests a complimentary drink when they book a session with the cats!

By far the biggest attraction for me is Blinks, their resident one-eyed cat who is such a sociable love bug. I’ve never met a cat like her! If she were adoptable, she 100% would have flown back across the country with me. 🥰😻

  3. Such a fun place. Very nice staff, the cats look to be well cared for. They even have a cute shop with fun items to buy like stickers, patches, coffee and prints! They also offer free a beverage upon entering the cat room.

  4. Had an amazing time with these lovely and cuddly cats. I wish I can just adopt all of them! They are very playful and the staff was so welcoming and told us some of the cats stories. We even got a chance to see two cats get adopted this day so that was very heartwarming to see. Definitely will bring my cat lover friends to this place. Also Im allergic to cats but the way the place is kept clean I didnt have any problems. 10/10 place

  5. Staff were kind + welcoming. The cats are adorable + we were so glad to have the opportunity to meet them + give them attention! Loved the cleanliness and air purifiers – I am actually allergic to cats + did not have any issues (crazy that I even tried this, but wanted to bring a friend for her birthday). Great experience! Nice little gift store too.

I adopted a 2 month old Terrier mix from the SFSPCA on Easter Sunday. My daughter named her Nella. We’re both excited to have her to be part of our family. It has definitely been an adventure being a first time dog owner, but I have no regrets. She can be stubborn at times but she’s a sweetheart.

They take such great care of the animals here. Yes, obviously the dogs will look a lot rougher than the cats (dogs aren’t fans of being locked in rooms), but the staff here truly does their best for these neglected animals. We were looking to adopt, but didn’t find a cat that matched our lifestyle, however a lot of the cats we looked at were immediately snatched up the following day. There are dedicated parking spaces out front, but they fill up fast on weekends. Tip: Refresh the SFSPCA website every 15 minutes for new animals Fun Tip: Female animals named “Queen…” are former moms!

I brought four preschool students here today and had an amazing experience! Sammy took time out of her day to walk us through the cat adoption hallways and tell us all about how the shelter works, and how the adoption process is carried out. They learned so much about cats and adopting a pet and left elated. Thank you for being so kind and helping to teach our young people about the world!

We picked up a female 8 week old pit terrier. She is sweet, very anxious and hard to bring in public, now 4 months later. We continue to work on her but the review is not about the dogs lack socialization and leaking pee all the time from being fixed too early…. No the review is for the guilt the spca will put on you for training a dog with a prong collar. I get it, pronged collars can be controversial but the guilt they laid on me and my daughter was out of control. Some of the best trainers in the business use them. Second, they had us meet the puppy in a special part of the building. We were waiting for almost an hour. We had no idea where we were. The girl that guilted us forgot about us and was like, oh sorry.

Love all staffs and Doctors. They were very kind, gentle talk, caring and friendly. I was emotional to get my cat neutered (didn’t want her to get hurt), the staffs always comforted me and allowed me to say bye to my cat before taking her away.

SF animal control is amazing. They helped us tremendously! They took into account all of our requests and concerns, when we surrendered. And made the process very smooth and quick, removing a lot of pain. Rest in peace my Boy.

The staff were amazing! I found a dog on the street shaking during the last big storm we had. He was soaked and such a friendly dog that I had to sit with him for a min and see if his owners were around. I took him home dried him off and next day took him to the shelter where they were able to reunite him with his family. I wanted to adopt him if no one came forward but he was missed and everyone who helped was amazing. This place is A1 for sure.

Such a welcoming environment that you can tell really cares about the animals they have. Each animal has a clean area with toys and comfy bedding. I thought it was cool they had small animals and reptiles. Awesomely kind staff!
