TWO and a HALF HOURS LATER they were able to merge the two accounts into one account. Do better Verizon.By Andrea Daly (a month ago)When I was walking into this store, another customer was leaving, screaming obscenities at the employees. Naturally I assumed the employees were not at fault, people being people. However after my own encounter with the “customer service” at this store I have to say I definitely wanted to throw a brick through the window myself. I just upgraded to a new phone and the data transfer wasn’t working it was stuck at one point and wouldn’t go past it. So I paid them $29.99 to do the data transfer for me. After about 15 minutes of fiddling around with it, the woman told me she was unable to complete the transfer also and that I would have to go home and do it on my PC. Well that sucked, but ok fine. I waited for a few moments and she just stared at me. “Aren’t you going to refund my money?” I asked? “oh no,” she replied. There are no refunds on the data transfer service. “but you didn’t transfer my data…you didn’t do anything.” “Well no, you’re paying for the effort. I tried to transfer it. It’s not my fault it didn’t work. There’s something wrong with google. I put a lot of effort in so I’m going to keep the money” Un EFFING believable. I was planning on buying a protection case, glass, earbuds and a speaker while I was there. Buy these things at Amazon, people. Also just FYI, TMOBILE is doing a $700 credit to pay off your current phone with Verizon. I just switched over to them AND their service is WAY better and faster. The employees at the 56th street store are very friendly and welcoming. They work with you to find the best deals. I have recently been to this store several times in the last few weeks and they always make me feel special. Ron, the manager, makes it a fun place for his employees. You can tell he has earned their respect, therefore making both customer and employees experience a very pleasant one.
I went here the day after my phone was totaled. Walked in and was instantly greeted by Zack. He was patient, kind and very helpful. He made the process very easy and communicated everything well. I told him to expect me back if I need more assistance!! Definitely 5 star service I’ve received.
Zack was amazing to work with! He was so patient with all my questions and explained things very well. He also helped me get on a better plan that was best suitable for us and saved us money. I will definitely work with him again in the future.
Zack assisted my wife and I with porting our phones and did a great job. We secured an amazing deal. The environment in the store was very welcoming!! The manager Don and second attending rep Kyren had great energy working together to ensuring that we left as happy satisfied customers.
