What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. A very wide range of collection. Specially on perfumes cosmetics and beddings. Highly recommend their bedding and comforter sets over the other non branded ones.

  2. Of course I wait till the last min to get a pair of heels for MY BDAY PARTY and I know Macys has a great selection Not only did I get a pair of Sexy Sun + Stone heels but the retail 70.00 were on sale for 13 WOW THATS a surprise gift to myself and The sales associate was great too

  3. A bit confusing but employees are super helpful and will tell you where something is if you ask. Has a great discount clothes rack on the women’s clothes floor. Was able to find all pieces for an outfit I needed for under $100. Also in a fun downtown area easily accessible by public transportation and with a lot of things to do nearby. Clean inside and had changing rooms open.

  4. I was in the building with a buddy of mines while he was resolving a issue with unemployment. We only used the restroom in Macy’s but the staff was helpful and courteous. The smell of the basement was pretty bad so I took a star

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Macy’s, esp the aroma and fragrance around the store, due to the variety of perfumes & colognes they sell amongst many other trending products. The latest fashion trends/styles and top brand names among the clothing, purses, bags, shoes, heels, makeup, dresses, etc. Pretty much they have anything & everything your heart desires.❤️ I literally have been shopping here since I was a child in the 80s-90s they use to have the Bernstein bears for their Winter Wonderland they would set up around the holidays, especially Christmas. I will never forget taking my Christmas Photo with the 2 Bernstein bears. It is one of my fondest memories as a child.

I don’t shop at Macy’s or department stores, but I had to walk thru the store to get into the mall. I’ve never seen a department store so busy in my life. Must be why they’re still in business. Tons of clothes, makeup, and perfume…and that’s only the first floor. Still no need for me to shop there, but impressive.

The customer service was horrible here.

I’m used to downtown Boston and this location doesn’t compare. I couldn’t get help finding the shirt I was looking for. I had questions about a suit and there was no help to be found, although there were sales associates around, they were just preoccupied doing other things in the back. Unbelievable!!

I would not go back here to shop, ever.

I recommend this store, especially because of the excellent customer service I was given while shopping. One of the Chanel associates, Sargine was incredibly professional and nice to me and my mother. Will be coming back again!

unfortunately this review is for the mobile app and Amex Macy’s card. The app is very glitchy and you can’t see your purchases for weeks sometimes. The customer service line is useless. They lie about policy and procedure and you end up spending so much time on the phone trying to resolve the issue that it’s more cost effective to just pay the disputed charge. I honestly can’t wait for AI to take over their jobs. I had no idea customer service could be this bad.

We purchased furniture, and Jane and Jean were so very helpful. This Macy’s is well stocked and we.found everything we needed easily from their wide selection of products. What was outstanding was the service – excellent. Whether Carey out purchase or delivery, we were completely satisfied. Would highly recommend this store to folks who are new to the area.

I haven’t shopped at Macys in a very long time, really don’t remember why, I remember now. If you aren’t WHITE, you won’t get helped!!! I was here for about an hour looking for some dress shirts, and some nice ties. I was surrounded by an Indian couple, a black couple and a (white) mother and son. We are all looking at clothing. Black couple asked if I worked there, I said no, Indian couple are looking around for help also to no avail. Finally a store associate walks by all of us, and asks the mother and son if they need help. REALLY!!! Is our money not as green as theirs? NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!!!

We’re not generally Macy shoppers but we stopped in because we heard they had acquired Toys R Us. When my children were young I loved shopping at Toys R Us for Christmas.

The Toys R Us section brought back some fond memories, but it was quite disheveled. There were toys on the floor and it was overall a bit crowded with narrow aisles.

There seemed to be quite a few people at the cashier counter waiting to be checked out. Overall, it was somewhat overwhelming for me.

I now understand why “band of thieves” walk into a place like this and walk out with pricey merchandise. To pay for a simple item, To be denied by a “cashier” because they don’t care if beyond belief. The guy in watches took care of ringing us up. It’s no wonder that these places close up eventually.

Got trapped inside for a while at closing today, after agonizingly slow line as the only cashier spent 10 minutes signing up another customer for a Macy’s card (which they push heavily) and commenting on everything that everyone was buying. I really wish they had self-checkout. You also have to ring up rugs with the cashier guarding the rug department, who could be put to better use cleaning the store.

Employees locked all doors at all exits, so customers started accumulating inside. First person I asked for help pointed me to an exit I had already tried and didn’t believe me when I said it was locked. She asked another employee for help because she didn’t know how to unlock doors!?

Clearance area was a mess, with bits of white something all over the floor with discarded drink containers, a face mask, and merchandise. Bedding department was so disorderly you couldn’t go down certain aisles because there was so much inventory on the floor. With their high prices, you’d think they could afford enough employees to keep the place looking better than a K-Mart.
