We did all major repairs after moving in except plumbing until…the pipes started rattling. We called RR&S because of their ads and their reviews. The initial service man was really personable and knowledgeable. We were glad to have someone who could explain what was happening to our piping system before we had a real catastrophe on our hands. To complete our repairs we needed two services. Cleaning and a yard dig for external access. In thiese processes they worked from the roof, through the house and out I ti the depth of our yard. All of the workers were knowledgeable and communicative. The best part is they were always careful about our personal space both inside and out and they kept coming until the job was complete and they charged us only for the service we received not for every time they came to do the work. No one enjoys spending money on a new water heater. It never goes out at a convenient time. We were happy we chose Mike Williams Plumbing. From our first contact, we were given a time line. An appt was made. Josh & Kendall did a good job of explaining the issue. They also gave us a choice of repair or new with pricing for both. Explanations were concise & clear. We chose to go with new as our water heater was already 11 years old. It had to fit in a very limited space. They made sure it did & fit it in perfectly. They left the space cleaner than when they arrived.

Beware of these guys! Huge potential to be ripped off. We had them do a $60 furnace system check and asked that they investigate the grinding noise from the furnace. They told us that our flame detector was bad and the motor needed replaced. $2600 for both. They told us that the furnace had significant structural damage (rust) and should really be replaced. A salesman came over and offered us three options. Two options to replace AC & furnace, $12,000 and $14,000. Furnace alone was $8,000. We told them we needed to think about it. That night we froze because the furnace only blew cold air. We called an actual Trane system authorized technician to check the furnace. He found that the flame detector had been unplugged – see photo. (We aren’t sure if that was an accident or on purpose to lead us to believe we needed a new system). They replaced the fan for under $700. We are guessing all those yellow trucks must cost quite a bit, so Mike Williams has to use less than honest business methods to rip people off.
Thank God we didn’t take the bait.
I called to set up an appointment and within a few days they had someone out to look at my heater. It had been loud and struggling to keep up when it got really cold and it was because of a motor about to go out. They were able to replace it the same day of the initial appointment and were quick. I appreciate the professionalism and speed in which they helped me out. I am grateful to them for sure and will always cal them for service. 100% recommend.
I requested 2 simple and basic plumbing repairs. One was a new handle on my toilet, with the flushing mechanism. The other was a diverter for my shower/tub. The 2 Mike Williams employees spent 20 minutes in their truck figuring out the cost, which was $1700. I thought it was too much and tried to bargain with them to no avail. So I refused the offer and they billed me $95 for the estimate alone. I found another plumber who did the work for $225, including all parts.
Dave came on time and fixed our washing machine drain in only one hour! He also looked at 2 other issues we were having while he was here and gave me quotes for all of it! He was very nice, especially to my one year old son and Dog Penny. I highly recommend Mike Williams Plumbing!
