  1. After waking up to 46 degrees indoors, I realized the furnace had stopped working. After calling Flame they sent out a tech to look things over, but of course my Attic Furnace part wasn’t in his van, so I had to wait until the following day for the repair.
    Jeff and Mike were both so polite, quiet, and very nice about breaking bad news.
    I will call again. Perhaps the only thing I’d change? If they’d ask what type of furnace make/model so they could ensure they had the most frequently broken parts with them. HOWEVER – my furnace is 21 years old so I can’t really complain, can I? 🙂

  2. Installation was scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2022. Technicians arrived as expected. The incomplete install took over nine hours. Required chimney liner was left on my floor for another technician to be sent out without an indication of an appointment date. There is water overflowing from the humidifier unit which should not be occurring due to a brand new install. Called Flame 1 hour after the technicians called it quits for the day and was told that the earliest appointment would not be until Monday, November 7, 2022 with a 4 hour window of arrival. I felt that this was unacceptable due water traveling on my basement floor. I called back on Saturday just to get the same reply. This should not be treated as a service call as this is faulty and/or incorrect install. The water pipe from the water heater is dripping water at the connection. I believed and thought I was hiring a reputable company. This is by far the worst customer service experience. When I asked the employee when would someone complete the install of my chimney liner she appeared to have NO clue to what I was speaking about. Due to these issues I will be contacting the City of Detroit to come inspect this entire install as permits are supposed to be pulled, chimney liners installed.

  3. Old furnace went out in Dec Flame came out that week and replaced with new one finished the same day mine wasn’t a easy job either 12th floor condo Tech Dan and his other coworkers did a great job Flame Heating and Cooling now does all my yearly maintenance services good company .

  4. Superb Performance and Experience! I needed replacement of 35+year old furnace, humidifier, and install of gas line for dryer. Every Phone staff and service technician was consistently courteous and helpful. Called one day, service and quote technicians came next day, then amazingly, install was next day! Very reasonably priced. Had finance options I could afford without breaking the bank! Technicians explained how to operate installs. They removed old units and left area clean. I highly recommend them and am grateful to have a company I can have confidence in for future maintenance. Thanks much Fred, Anthony, Ricky, Levi, and Dee. You are an awesome team!

  5. Flame always delivers great service! We had our furnace and AC unit installed by them a year ago and they came out yesterday for our yearly furnace check. Lazri was great very knowledgeable. In and and out on time. I’ll always have Flame do my service! We also used them for some electrical work to change an old fuse box to a circuit breaker as well.

    I had nothing but a 5 star experience from Rick and his crew over the last 3 days they were at my house replacing the entirety of my sewer lines underneath my basement floor. I was told by 2 other companies that I would need to get water jetting done, but my third opinion from Rick at Bison, he strongly suggested I go for a complete replacement instead after I showed him a camera video done by a different provider. He could have just done the water jetting to get more money out of me, but the honesty shines here. He immediately identified clear signs of the section of pipe being broken where the other providers missed it completely. Given the age of the house, I trusted him and opted to just replace everything. I am extremely glad I did. As seen in the picture, the old cast iron pipes were just about split in half. I have no idea how long they were like that but, what a relief to get everything replaced. All in all, the guys were very polite and professional, answered any questions I had, and clearly knew what they were doing. All of this at a very fair price. I won’t be using any other than Bison for my future plumbing needs.

    We purchased a new gas dryer and needed to have an old copper gas supply line replaced. I called on Thursday morning and scheduled an appt for Monday, but due to a cancellation they were able to do the work right away!! The work was completed in an hour and everything is up to code now. This company does great quality work, and they don’t overcharge for their services! I highly recommend them!!

    Joe D was great! He arrived when we expected, diagnosed the problem with confidence, suggested a solution, installed the faucet, and cleaned up afterward. Good experience all around (friendly and helpful service when calling the office as well). We will use Bison Plumbing again in the future.

    You don’t know how to run the snake in the drain line. You just take my $120 dollars. And you told me the line is broken. You also send me a repair estimate for $2900 dollars. I did that work my self today I rented the tolls from Home Depot and I snake the drain line. Now is working. You are not a good worker. V bad. I’m coming to your store tomorrow morning. I will show them my video. That i fixed my problem. I did better than you.

    It was great having Rick & Brandon in my home. These two wonderful men were on time, very very professional, they put covers over there boots so that they didn’t track dirt on my carpet. They were easy to talk to, very pleasant. They allow me to start my washer and they waited until my washer drain out to see if it would back up into my tub. I was so relieved that it didn’t. The cost was amazing. They did not over charge me. These guys are the BEST!!! Bison is a great company to call!!! They clear my drain problem and my home is back into full operation 😄.     full AC/Furnace replacement with a new Heat pump/furnace. Owner conducted the estimate and was here for the install. He spent time looking at the existing unit and ducting to be sure the replacement units were properly sized for the space and ducting. they were very quick with the quote and answering follow-up questions. Install was completed in 1 day even with a difficult install due to location of the unit. They spent time to set up the thermostat and answer additional questions. They were efficient, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.

    Quick appointment time to fit our holiday schedule. Erik LISTENED very well as I explained my needs.     Water heater started leaking. I was able to speak with someone right away and get all information I needed in order to get a new water heater. Everyone was professional and friendly. When I need more work done on my home, which will be soon, I will definitely call them again.
