  I was gifted a straight razor blade shave and it dazzled me! I’ve never had something like that done on me and if you haven’t, you need to experience it.

  With it being my first time, Juice, my barber, was patient with me and explained all the ins and outs of getting a shave. His attention to detail in both explanation and the service itself exceeded my expectations.

  From the hot rags, to the gentle facial massage, in addition to the shave, brought relaxation to a whole new level. The service lasted roughly and hour and we’ll worth the price.

  I am fairly new to Salt Lake City and have been looking for a really amazing barber for almost a year. I went in this week and had Jon who took amazing care of me. I got my first ever beard wash and straight razor trim, and impeccable haircut and great styling tips and fun conversation. This is by far the best haircut I have had. Really recommend to anyone in the area for all hair and beard needs

  I’ve been going here for the past year and everyone who I’ve booked with has given quality service and I’ve always left with a great haircut. My hair isn’t easy to work with either.

  I don’t go here to get my cuts myself but I definitely send them clients and friends of mine – it’s a great birthday present! – because they are amazing and their service is awesome!! THE BEST! (See photo with me and one of their clients I’ve sent to them…)

  I do however buy their oils! They are amazing for beard and smells so yummy but they also work great for my hair!

  I took my son here as a walk-in and they were very accomodating about getting us in. Everyone was very polite and professional. Very welcoming environment. I was informed that this was a full-service place and that the price included a cut, warm towel, shampoo, line up with a straight razor and a massage. My son was very excited to have his haircut and to be pampered. He’s never had a cut that like before. Unfortunately, he didn’t get any of the services that were included in that price except for the cut. I am not sure why. Maybe because he was a kid, but I am not sure. Also, his fade was not blended well and he was left with hair all over his face. I’m sure our experience was a one off as they have very good reviews, but for us it was a disappointing experience especially for the price.

  Been here numerous times, typically okay experience. The last time I went (and last I ever will) I had checked in online, showing up 3 minutes after the suggested arrival time they had already passed my name and pushed me back to a waiting position. Why bother with online check-in? I had to leave as I had a meeting in about 50 minutes and with the newly added wait time, couldn’t make it in time. I came back in later that day to receive the worst haircut of my life. Parts of the 0 fade behind my ear weren’t touched at all, leaving long stringy hair in the middle of a nearly bald cut. Places on top were left random lengths, some an inch and a half longer than the “base height”. Places on one side were down to the skin and didn’t “fade” at all, just had sharp steps, while the other side looked more normal. I can’t tell if the stylist was new and nervous or what, but some part of me can’t help but think it was intentional. There were too many and too egregious of mistakes. I routinely cut my own hair in college, its hard to accidentally make some of the mistakes that were made. Shout out to Blind Tiger Barbers in Sandy for doing an amazing job cleaning it up and getting me out the door with a real haircut that looks great (a true testament given what I walked in the door with). I’d give one star, but typically the staff is friendly and in 4 hair cuts there, 2 have been your typical “solid for a cheap chain haircut”, 1, by Lucia, was an objectively good haircut, for sports clips or for any high end barber I’ve been to.

  I walked in and was almost immediately seated by Bailey. She did a great job with the cut, the included wash and massage and kept the chat light and fun. Very genuine experience. I walked away with a fantastic cut at such an affordable price. I’ll definitely be back in the future!

  Absolutely terrible! Do not go here unless you want to be manipulated by their computer system of scheduling and wait times and manual overrides. Go to other stores in the valley where they respect your time. My wait time changed 5 times while sitting there for 25 min. Range of 32mins-1:14. The last one went to 52 mins after being 32min. and I left. They really could have cared less.

  I went here and got the Super VIP treatment which included a shampoo and hot towels over my face and a neck massage after the cut. Justin cut my hair and he was awesome. I talked to a couple other ladies there also who were so nice. The whole experienced made me want to just stay and be more pampered. I will be back FOR SURE !   Man do I have thoughts on this Sports Clips location.

  The entire premise of this company is that you can check in online, for a specific stylist, and show up when they tell you to.

  I have had multiple bad experiences with this location due to their neglect for the online check in process.

  I checked in the other day during a slow period and headed right to the store. I was in the store within 5 minutes of checking in online. I was “on deck” with a “zero minute wait”.

  I arrived to find that they let 2 walk-ins, without an appointment, take my stylist and the other available stylist, and then sent a 3rd stylist to the bank to drop off their cash during what was about to be the busiest time of the day, lunch hour.

  My 0 minute wait went to 45+ minutes.

  In what world does that make sense. I have an appiontment, it says I’m up next, and instead of telling a walk-in “hey it’ll be 20-30 minutes” or telling the 3rd stylist to wait to take the cash to the bank during a slower time, they sent someone to the bank and took walkins over people with appiontments.
