a month agoThe customer service Manager called a customer the N word in front of me, Then he started screaming at my father who was next in line. Very unprofessional here. Walmart would never let such disrespectful employees be managers. The associate working confirmed he was just in bad mood. It was an overweight Hispanic man who was the manager being disrespectful. We ended up just leaving without making a purchase, nobody should be so disrespectful to customers in FRONT of more customers, regardless of whatever the guy in front of us was trying to refund. I suppose I understand why this location has such bad reviews, when you hire these kinds of employees, and if that was In front of us, I can’t imagine what was said when we left2 months agoAlthough the store wasn’t busy at all this morning there were no baskets anywhere. Even getting in the door proved difficult as a Kroger employee decided that was the best place to assemble a cart making no effort to move. This isn’t the first time the employees have put their carts directly in front of the doorways or isles undeterred that people need to get by. The music was unbearably loud and the store was freezing cold. We ended up leaving and getting what we needed at Target were the store was clean, quiet & there were plenty of baskets and friendly employees. The prices at Target ended up being better as well. Not going back to this Kroger even though it’s only a few miles from my house.3 months agoCame into the store 10 min before 8pm(closing time for returns) on 5/26/23. The lady at the customer service said that they closed early as they did not have the manpower. I DONT CARE. I then approached another store member at the self checkout at 7:57pm and he said the time is up but since he saw me before and I walked away after talking to the lady he agreed to consider my return. But he mentioned that the return is not possible as I did not have the receipt. Later when I looked up the store returns policy THEY DO ACCEPT WITHOUT RECEIPT. Can you please not have such people serving the customers. I need the number of the store manager2 years agoStopped by this Kroger early this morning to grab some rice cakes! KROGER is the only store that carries these low calorie rice cakes. Robert was my cashier and asked me if I’d like to make a donation to a good cause. I agreed and he announced my donation over the intercom and the employees lapped and cheered. As I was walking out another announcement was made by someone different expressing their appreciation. This was a small gesture but it really started my day off on a pleasant foot! Thank you for having a clean store and excellent customer service!4 months agoFilthy and disgusting bathrooms, when the Manager was told about the condition of the bathroom by a local 70 year old lady she was shouted at in front of his staff. On the local Nextdoor app there are over a 100 responses to this ladies post, many have reported this to the corporate office and stopped shopping there, one man went as far as video taping the bathroom on a separate occasion and the Manager responded the same way on video. This store has many other problems.

4 months agoThis has to be the worst Management. All registers closed accept select self service. The new self service registers are closed because I was informed they didn’t have codes or anyone available to ring up customers. When I asked for the manager, I was told he was busy unloading a truck. There was no truck in the back when we drove around which tells me he was hiding. We found items that expired in December ’22. What if someone needs help due to accessibility/mobility challenges? Nope, no one was available to assist. Absolutely ludicrous.4 months agoHad a great experience using the bakery department. Placed my order at the counter and received my order the next day. I ordered cupcakes with the whipped icing. DELICIOUS! Definitely was a hit at my Daughter’s Birthday Party. I will definitely use them again in the future. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I absolutely appreciate our Neighborhood Kroger.a week agoI’d give this store 0 stars if I could. Twice in one week Click list has been bumped to the next day more than once (nevermind the fact it was placed first thing in the morning). The manager “Wyatt” hung up on me. I never yelled or cussed, but just asked his name. He didn’t give it to me, so my husband went up there and found out his name. We will be calling corporate tomorrow.3 weeks agoThis store has the worst staffing customer service support that I have ever seen. The employees in the store are great! The management has plenty of opportunities. Customer service desk is almost never open. I have called home office at least four times and asked them to address this issue but nothing has been done. Maybe this review will get their attention. I love the store, but something needs to be done with her at manageda month agoDeli takes ages if you decide to stop there 15-30 minute wait and now Kroger is pushing their credit card in store. I really hope this isn’t the new norm really don’t want to hear a 5-10minute speech about another credit card everytime I go grocery shopping. Hopefully they don’t start forcing their employees to push them as a metric. Stopped using pick-up due to lack of communication of if orders are going to be late until it’s time to pick up said order. Poorly managed obviously. Too bad too because it’s in a great location. Almost worth it to go to Bartonville instead.Update 3-23: Really need a corporate contact at this point. Your employees are going to kill someone. Leaving frozen raw chicken out until its thawed and then marking it down? Yikes, you can mush the “frozen” chicken together its so thawed. Throw it out! Don’t kill someone or put them in the hospital due to your negligence
Update # 2 Remodel hasn’t changed much and now your management is racially profiling people. Clean house and get new people in here.

This is a really nice store. The associates are always watching to see if someone needs help. Products are both regular and many upscale, hard-to-find items (for after watching the cooking shows!) The hours are very convenient but I would suggest an edit on floral – are they really there 24-7?
Love this Kroger, best in Denton. I think it’s a bummer that they close the entrances so early, makes it slightly harder to navigate, but only slightly.
I wish that everything wasn’t always moved around but I get it. Small price for a better store.
This place consistently OVERCHARGES YOU! Then you have 7 people in line and you got management watching. They are no help to staff. I will attach picture to prove the incompetence of this store. I would just like 1 receipt where I didn’t have to come back to adjust.
So this picture is when the lady in red was like…I’ll come help. So it looked like she was going go back there and assist. She turned right around and never help anyone. The younger guy came up to me to see if he could help…prolly because they knew I was writing a review.
Quite frankly I’m shocked she is still in management. I’ve been coming here for 2 yrs and she’s loud, yells at employess on floor, she’s just a BAD FIT FOR HER POSITION. She’s not a nice person, seriously ask her staff.
This store needs an overhaul in management, and registers that don’t scam us like they already due with inflation.
Also MOVE THE CHEESE AWAY FROM SEAFOOD AND BAKERY….IT STINKS TO ALL HELL! Think about it Kroger…..seafood next to a bakery and gourmet cheese….come on. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to smell that odor.
It would be nice to have aisles that more than one person can walk down. All of the “impulse” items make it hard to shop. Then you have your stupid scan a code with our app so you can get a reasonable price. Let’s not forget the way you overpriced soft drinks that you can only afford if they are buy 2 get three free. That would be great if they weren’t normally 8.99. Considering everything, I normally go to Aldi.
Kroger sucks! I hate shopping there. Their digital deals are B.S. Half the time you don’t get the savings you’re promised. Long lines at the check out, or you can check yourself out with the computer screen prompting you need help with
every other transaction. Do better!!! Clearly, it’s time to get the cashier’s back. Self-checkout isn’t worth MY TIME
