What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. My chicken and sides at this restaurant have always tasted good and been fresh. When I have walked in and ordered, employees have been courteous. The last time I ordered a biscuit, the employee even directed me to the honey packets. When I use the app, my food is ready when I arrive, and it is complete. I am happy with this KFC.

  2. DRY, OLD, HARD are the only words I can think of to describe. Popeyes and Chick Fil A have got No worries if this is the competition. 😣 Terrible

  3. The manager said this is normal for the chicken to look like this. She had the worst attitude when we were polite the whole time. I have never in my life seen a fried chicken like this especially in a establishment that only does fried chicken. Stay away from this place for your own good.

Update – Word for word the manager told me I, myself had to wait 5 minutes before eating so it can get crispy….I will let you know right now I have had plenty of kfc in my life and fresh out the fryer never heard of that. Plus why do we need to wait 5 minutes? Why not you guys wait 5 minutes and serve it after if thats actually the case? I am sorry but I could have let this sit for a whole hour and it would not have been crispy. You can see the flour on the chicken skin that isn’t even cooked all the way.

  4. Not much for indoor eaters except during rush hours. Clean and tasty atmosphere.blessings

  5. One star is being nice. First, coming to this establishment was terrible. I ordered the 8pc hot & spicy for a family member & 5pc tender meal for myself. For starters, the food was NOT fresh, as shown in the photos. I also ordered the funnel cake fries, which, as seen, had NO powered sugar on them. Tenders & chicken was tough (so much so biting will feel like pulling teeth.) Then when asked if I could wait for fresher food, the cashier Emily said “I already placed your food in the to go box.” Food was disgusting. Please don’t waste your time or money. You’d think for $25+, my food would have been cooked/handled MORE carefully.

Last night, i ordered a family pack of 16 pieces of fried chicken 🐔. 2 sides of French fries 🍟 1 side of corn 🌽 I side of mac and cheese 🧀 😋 And biscuits. At the time when I paid, I asked him for extra extra catsup. The cashier was very nice and fast. But he didn’t give the receipt and that time I really don’t care about it. He asked me to move to the front while my order was ready. When he comes bringing my order, I never check it. Wrong!!!

When I got home and checked the entire order.. I found there were only 12 pieces of chicken. Plus, not catsup.. not even 1 pack of catsup!!

For real!! Why did I do this?? This is not the first time I got fewer pieces of chicken on my order.

    Nooo way!!!

Rated 0 stars about the service.

Update: The next day, I stopped by the store to talk to the manager, but they were very busy, not enough staff, and I had to explain three times with three employees about what was my issue with my order before the manager comes and asked me to explain again about it. After all, he asked me what I could suggest to fix the problem????????? For real???? I said first, people need to take care better customer orders before they give to them. Second… it’s not my business, and im not the manager of that business… he needs to find out how to fix it. Then he offered me one chicken sandwich to replace my missing fried chicken pieces. I said I’m not looking for food. I’m doing this because it’s not the first time happening that. If it happens to me twice, think how many times can be happening on one day.. Then on one week… and how much money they are stilling from each customer they forget to fill out the right order for…

Short words.. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS KFC LOCATION AT ALL!!

Long wait…forty minutes after placing the order, with no sign of it coming our way, I spoke politely to whomever I could. It got elevated to I think the manager, who apologized and explained the wait. She threw in a large fry for free, and that helped. But it still took around an hour for a “fast food” meal. Food was fine, fries were great.

I would give this place a zero but not available. I ordered a 3 piece combo and a big combo with 2 sides. The girl taking order said we don’t carry any 3 piece with two sides. So right there I should’ve drove off. Not only did I get 2 boxes with 2 burned pieces of chicken. No two sides in box. No receipt in bag for me to look up number. Natalie informed me she would not give me a refund without a receipt. I explained I didn’t get a receipt. I explained that I live 40 minutes away. So to drive back it would be 40 minutes and drive back home another 40. So she said sorry without you bringing all the product back she would not give me my money back. So I am missing a side plus a piece of chicken. So don’t have everything I ordered. I asked how can you serve someone crispy to the point that it is burned chicken. She said oh I know that’s the way our chicken is coming out today. So Natalie knew how burned it was. So I asked her should you ask do you mind this chicken this way( burned). I told her once again I want a refund. She said no because you are just going to eat the chicken and then we will give you a refund. I asked for corporate number she said sorry you have to look it up yourself. I asked who is in charge she said she was. She put me on hold for 15 minutes. I waited. Now Josephine that is a little above Natalie comes on the phone and says. You are not getting a refund without you bringing everything back. I know you are just going to eat the chicken That’s what you want a refund and eat the chicken. Rude, sorry customer service, raw biscuits. Unbelievable. I wondered why there was one car at KFC and next door at Whataburger the line was at least 15 cars deep. I am not driving an hour and 1/2 to return this burned chicken. I need a refund

I called to see what they had available at 10:35 p.m. on a Saturday night. The Whataburger next door was hopping. But KFC wasn’t. You want to know why? Because even though they don’t technically close until 11, this crew stops cooking chicken at 9:30. They aren’t open until 11. Seems like they just ride the clock. I’ve worked in food service and I understand what it’s like to work late hours. I also understand that on a Saturday night especially, late night business comes with the territory. I’m sure if the owner knew about this, they would correct this behavior. To customers it comes across as lazy. If you aren’t working hard to make any business you work for more money, then your priorities are probably off. I could be wrong but that is my perspective. Thankfully there are other restaurants that will take my money.

Haven’t had KFC for years and decided to visit this location nearby. It’s easy to visit with the next door apartment garage providing spacious retail parking. The entire restaurant property inside and out is super clean. I placed an online order and it was handed to me fresh almost instantly upon walking to the mobile pickup counter. KFC’s ever evolving recipes are at an all time high in quality and this location fulfills that promise perfectly. Don’t know what else to say other than I will be back, a lot.

All these people along with ourselves have been waiting here in the dining area for over half an hour. Currently still waiting for our food, and now the employees are even talking back to customers because people have to get back to work. Will not be returning to this location. Employee behind counter rather start yelling and cussing before trying to fix the problem.

Came in at 12:13 and ordered a 3 piece combo. It i2ls 12:42 and I am still waiting. The kids that work here are just chatting with one another. No real sense of urgency and the customer service from the young man who took my order was just bad, like he had never been trained. This is the 3rd time I have come in to this location and it is always the same. Don’t come unless you have an hour to spare, because you will be waiting for your food. And the experience will be unpleasant. And they may just forget you, like they did to me last time. The food is tasty and nostalgic, but not worth the hassle. These problems might be exclusive to this location, I don’t know. The kid at front definitely needs to be trained on customer service, and how to speak pleasantly with customers and not make them feel like an annoyance or burden.

Refused to honor prices on the sign in the window (10 nuggets for $5) which is also shown on national adds. Further, I was then refused service when I told them they should take down the sign. 5 better chicken places within walking, don’t go here .

Awesome place. I had a really good experience with two gentlemen at the restaurant today. The guy who took my order answered all my questions about the menu and prices and also agreed with a smile when I asked him that I wanted 2 out of my 4 chicken to be original and other 2 to be extra crispy. The other guy who handed me my order joined his hands and thanked me when I told him that it was the best KFC in Austin and how I drove extra 10 mins to avoid the KFC near me to come there.

You guys made the colonel proud today. Thanks for carrying on his legacy of southern hospitality and amazing chicken.

Healthy and Vegetarian Options at KFC Restaurant

While KFC is known for its fried chicken, there are some healthier and vegetarian options available at the restaurant. Here are a few options to consider:

  • Vegetable Rice: KFC offers a side dish of vegetable rice, which is a healthier alternative to their fried options. This dish includes cooked rice mixed with vegetables, providing a filling and nutritious option.
  • Corn on the Cob: Another vegetarian option is the corn on the cob. It is a simple yet satisfying side dish that is grilled and seasoned, making it a healthier choice compared to fried items.
  • Garden Salad: KFC offers a garden salad that consists of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables. You can opt for a lighter dressing or choose to have it without dressing for a healthier option.
  • Fruit Salad: For a sweet and refreshing option, the fruit salad at KFC is a good choice. It typically includes a mix of fresh fruits such as apples, grapes, pineapple, and melon.
  • Grilled Vegetable Twister Wrap: KFC offers a vegetarian wrap option called the Grilled Vegetable Twister Wrap. It contains grilled vegetables wrapped in a tortilla, providing a tasty and healthier alternative to their traditional sandwiches.

While these options are considered healthier or vegetarian, it’s important to note that cross-contamination may occur in kitchens, so individuals with strict dietary restrictions should exercise caution.
