Miles Gilbert “Tim” Horton opened the first store to support his hockey salary in the off season, May 17, 1964. He died untimely death by drunken driving, aged 44. ***I wish this first location has Maple Dip Donuts all the time. The place was really clean and was the first time I saw a locker pickup in a Tim unit. Although it was a Sunday morning, the place wasn’t crowded and it was easy to get a seat to enjoy the coffee. There is a parking on the side and the neighbourhood is great. Totally worth to pay a visit to them and explore the city afterwards.By Anderson Kaiser (4 months ago)I was excited to go to the original Tim Hortons, but was a bit let down by the sanitation of the building. The bathrooms were not stocked with toilet paper or soap, and the floor was wet. I couldn’t find a table that was clean. There were crumbs or coffee marks on each table. And when I exited the building I stepped littered Tim Horton tea bags. They have a neat display upstairs of the history of Tim Hortons , other than that there was nothing spectacular about this visit.By Brittany Kim (10 months ago)Must go here if you are a fan of Tim’s!!! They have an awesome little museum on the upper level displaying lots of cool vintage and retro artifacts and displays sorted by decade! Very cool memorabilia, I loved seeing it. It was exciting seeing old roll up the rim cups I remember seeing back in the days! And the old treats they used to have, bring back the “butterfly”! And a statue outside depicting Tim Horton in his hockey attire! - Reviews:Perfect timing for me as I was coming late from the hanging out with friends. Sometimes it’s just timing when you really need a coffee and a Tim Hortons pops up on your travels! I always get the extra large coffee black with double whipped topping (they don’t say whipped cream as it’s not in their system labeled as such). It’s dirty keto but that’s fine. A treat for me! The door handle was broken and the automatic door open button was not working. One of the best Tim Hortons for stepped tea! I can go out of my way to go here at any hour if the day and it’s usually perfect! Morning staff are exceptional for their accuracy and quick service! Sometimes overnight staff can be off but hey, they’re open 24/7, can’t have it perfect 100% of the time.
I was charged twice. I paid on the app, and have an email receipt. They kept saying no it’s not paid. I didn’t want to waste time, so I scan my barcode to pay again. It was only $2, so I didn’t want to waste time going back to get that adjusted.
Extremely horrible customer service at this location! Went through the drive thru and ordered 20 chocolate glazed timbits. Easy enough order I thought but apparently it’s a difficult one. Got home to find 20 plain timbits in the box. Drove out of my way back to the location to get the item I actually ordered and the staff was rude and didn’t even apologize for their mistake. Will not be returning to this location. Train your staff to be more accurate with orders and nicer to customers!
Love the freshness of the bagels & croissants at this location! I only come to this location because their bakery items taste fresh. Other stores are hit and miss but I love getting my double double with bagel or croissant here even though its farther away from my house. I pass 2 other Tims locations on my drive just to come to this one because its always consistent!
