a week agoThis is the second shower that I have held at the Prairie House. Both experiences were absolutely perfect! I used the in-house catering both times and the food is always presented beautifully and delicious. They are very accomodating and strive hard to create the experience to the request of the customer. This fees are reasonable for such a unique and intimate experience. I worked with Amber and John beforehand, and they had everything perfectly set up and ready to go when I arrived. John was very accommodating with all of my requests and was available to answer all of my questions during the event. Our guests were very impressed with the house and made several comments about how charming and perfect it was! I highly recommend Prairie Guest House for bridal showers, baby showers, small events or even small weddings. We loved it!3 months agoWe were so delighted with our stay at Prairie Guest House that for our next visit to Fishers, IN, we will check their availability first, before we make our plans– it’s the BEST place to stay! The property is spacious and relaxing, the suites are all different and lovely and impeccably clean, the breakfasts absolutely delicious (and different every morning) and the hospitality from the hosts is exceptional. Look no further….book here.2 months agoMy 13 year old daughter and I were in town for a 2 day volleyball tournament and needed a place to stay. As we were searching for a good deal we stumbled across this gem. My daughter took one look at the pictures and amenities and knew right away this is where she wanted to stay. The stay was way beyond our expectations! With a personal email and phone call prior to our visit to welcome us, special accommodations for our early morning schedule (they gladly packed us both a grab and go bag full of nutritious food), and the checking in to be sure our stay was comfortable, we felt more than welcome and like honored guests! Lastly, but not least, the breakfast was amazing!!! We were served all of my favorites and the service was more than we could have asked for! This place made our trip so special that we plan to return and share this experience with family!

We had a great experience here. We did not know the heated pool was broken, she made up for it thou. And pool hours are changed to 10pm from 11pm they just need to update their inside sign. I do think most people would prefer a later time as they are getting in late at times and would like to enjoy an late swim. Very friendly and helpful staff thou! Wonderful breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. There were no bedding for the pull out couch but if you need it they would more than gladly give you some. My girls brought some blankets so we were good but again everyone was very nice. Hopefully, their heated pool is fixed soon!
Pool was closed both days we stayed. Its memorial day weekend and you dont have a working pool? We wouldnt have even stayed here if we knew that. Our keys deactivated Sunday even though we booked from SATURDAY to MONDAY. The rooms are dimly lit. The pull out couch had nasty stains. No sheets for that either, or even extra blankets and pillows. The lady who set up breakfast was INCREDIBLY rude. Especially towards the end of it. She came in and refused to even put out a little more batter for the family who showed up towards the end. You could find a way better hotel for just a few bucks more. Steer clear. Now we know for next year
By far the worst experience I have had in my life. BED BUGS ATTACKED ME AS SOON AS I LAYED IN BED.
Checked in at 4 PM. Started itching from the moment I laid on the beds. Even at the entrance, the smell of the whole hotel was horrible.
I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere for your safety and for your comfort.
This hotel is horrible change the name, because there was no quality or comfort.
I’m always skeptical when I book budget hotel rooms, but for roughly half the price of a Holiday Inn express this was well worth it. For the minor issues I did have, saving roughly $230 for my 3 day trip was better then staying at a comparable 3 star hotel in the same area.
If you’re like me and want to save money but not stay somewhere completely horrible, I would recommend this Quality Inn.
Pros:
+ Located in a nice, safe, gentrified part of Indy with a lot of great restaurants around
+ Big/clean room with king sized bed, sofa, and fridge
+ Free parking, wifi and breakfast
+ Great value
+ Direct TV with a large selection of channels
Negatives:
– Condenser was broken on fridge so it acted like a freezer
– Small tv with poor picture quality
– Upstairs ice machine was broken, had to go downstairs
– Breakfast offering was unimpressive
– One of my keycards didn’t work, so I had to get another
– They accidently relocated a couple to my room who complained about their room smelling like smoke, and they ended up walking in on me. I was still unpacking so it wasn’t a big deal. I mentioned it to the front desk and they knew about it from the couple. They didn’t seem to care.
Bed was very comfy and the AC worked so I slept great but that was about it.. pool was disgusting so we passed on swimming (which our son and his cousin were both geeked to do😔) the room was not cleaned very well you could see grease marks all over the headboard and the curtains were gross looking. Overall it gave us a place to stay the night and that’s about it!
