5 years agoNot A Critic Just A Customer! Newly remodeled! the store looks great inside and out! Renovation was a great choice! It spruces up the area. I think its going to draw in new customers and customers that wouldn’t shop there previously, now customers have options, I’m very impressed with the renovations, I don’t have the hustle and bustle of the larger store chain, I can get in, get out! The layout of the store makes it very inviting and comfortable, I can see everything while enjoying my shopping experience! The selves were nicely stocked, produce had fresh fruits, freezer was well organized, meat isle had an array of fresh meats! At the front the Cashiers were polite and friendly (a plus for shoppers) keep it up! there were no boxes in isles creating tight spaces. The remodel is a definite plus, I’m sure it’s going to pay off in the long run for the store and the community! THUMBS up!!!!!!3 years agoLove this place great price for great items. 3 months agoIf I’m on strictly a food mission this is my go to grocery store. The meat and produce are quality items at a better than average price. Also, I love the quick check out. I never spend much time in line.5 months agoAldi used to be my favorite place to shop. As the chain has grown larger, the local-quirky feel has been lost. It is now our last stop, if we go at all. The quality staff that was at the store for a long time is now gone. The inventory diminishes throughout the day, without restocking. So if you’re a late in the day shopper, it’s no good. The prices better than the competitors, but not by enough to make it our first choice. Their wonderful replacement policy is now policed and guarded. In the old days, if we got some bad produce, we would simply tell the checker and be handed a free one. Today, you get that look if you even try. Since a lot of their produce is in bags, you don’t really know if there will be a couple of duds until you get home. We NEVER abused this privilege. Apparently others did, or corporate policy has clamped down on this.3 years agoNicely curated grocery and home goods selection at great prices.My go to for charcuterie board snacks!
Either bring your own reusable bags or can buy plastic or paper bags for 10¢ each. Be prepared to bag your own purchases.
5 months agoAldi’s is Aldi’s. Good prices, unique selection of items, lots of imported selections (cookies from Germany etc) and discounted meat, dairy and produce. Quality is hit or miss – sometimes a home run, sometimes disappointing, and the store is usually very crowded, but the addition of self checkouts is great and overall I really enjoy shopping here as one of my main grocery stores in the area. The Nolensville Rd location can be a bit dirtier than other Aldi’s in the area.4 months agoIt’s a typical Aldi, bring quarters to use their shopping cart. They have a lot of stuff for fairly cheap, and it’s small enough that it makes getting in and out of the store very easy.

Always well-stocked and clean. Usually quick check out even if only one or two cashiers are open. Great prices and I have always liked all of their items.
I have been a customer at Aldi in Madison over 20 years. After finishing my order the employee said what the total was ( I was paying cash). I couldn’t hear him and looked to see the total on the register. There was nothing there. I said I am used to seeing the total on the register because that helps me know what to pay. He repeated the total and I still did not understand him. I told him some people have hearing problems and it helps to put the total on the register. He then put it on the register screen and I paid him. He had been rushing me while I was getting the money out of my wallet. He was rude and needs to be educated on customer relations. He was on the 1st register close to the office. He had dark hair and skin, possibly Latino. It was 4:15 8.14.23.
The 2 fortly male cashiers couldn’t be more rude or smartmouthed if they tried .. my last trip their ,I hope this particular store folds… Those two guys should get a job working in a trash waste Management sorting garbage…
When they say they close at 8:00 they actually mean they close at 7:50 so don’t try to run in and grab anything real quick…. Pretty sad that they do this to loyal customers. Very disappointed in this location.
Aldi always has really good fruits and veges at good prices. Small grocery, easy to get in and out when you’re in a hurry. Always clean.
