For my first experience at this hotel. everything was good. from check in process to check out. all super smooth. the staff was friendly. parking space in the basement, got 2 levels, B1 & B2. for 3d2n i had pay RM 6 only. the room was cozy, i had book superior king room from agoda for Rm 380. the room super big for that price and can be shared to 5 people. the food in their cafe also super delicious and the price was reasonable. the pool was fun, especially the kids pool have slides. overall 10/10 Recommended for everyone especially for the family.By Nur Ezlisufira (3 weeks ago)The air in my assigned room was stuffy for few hours. It was 1015pm. The was still warm even after few hours of setting temperature at 16oC. I needed to call to the front desk thrice. He said he would sent the maintenance guys. To make things worse, both basins were stuck and clogged. No one came up. I went down at 11pm. Only to see the front desk is still discussing with the maintenance god knows what. And my dad needed to sleep early because there we were supposed to be going to the hospital for appointment. I’m not the fussy type and I have never in my life given any bad review to any hotel in my life. There was no compensation or what so ever. We got our room changed after repacking our stuff at 11 plus. The room was cold enough but guess what water condensate and there was irrigation in the middle of the night. As it didn’t hit the bed, we went back to sleep at 3am plus. I needed to increase the temperature to avoid condensation in the room. The next morning. I tried to switch on the TV while preparing to check out. Guess what even the TV is not functioning. And the same staff had the audacity to cross check my receipt in order for me to reclaim my deposit. I did not even ask him to compensate my resting hours and beauty sleep. I’m not sure the hotel has horrible service because management refuse to invest in the facilities and their staff, but the experience has been nothing but daunting and disappointingBy Andrew Oh (4 months ago)I recently stayed at the “Lxora hotel Penang” Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. While it wasn’t the fanciest hotel I’ve stayed in, it provided good value for the price. For RM200 +, I think I can get a better deal elsewhere. Popular hotel with good business volume, yet not much is done to make guests stay enjoyable. Clean room and i think the size of the room is big enough. The breakfast was also very interesting, the menu started from local until western and all of them are delicious. Near the hotel you can find a lot of modern food places such as korean food, japanese food and of course local foods. Not only food but you may have an entertainment area such as a karaoke room, massage, beer house and liquor place. New hotel and i guess 2-3 years old. Complete facility with gym, pool, bar and ballroom. Great services with friendly and helpful staff. The food for breakfast is amazing with so many choices.
Afforable/standard price for room. Room clean and huge.
Great parking system. You can use room card to access parking which is great. There always staff and door to open door for you.
Recommended hotel in Penang !
No good experience anymore in comparison to former years.
The hotel is totally overcrowded, especially on the weekends. Breakfast is overrunned. You have to stand in a long queue to even get a table. No plates available at buffet and food looks not welcoming.
The rooms are dirty and only slightly cleaned every day, even on wish. The carpet in the room shows hair from former guests.
I was here in former days and got now disappointed by the development of the hotel.
Everything are very good. Staff also very helpful although at first my booking didn’t appear in your system. But they help me very much. Food also very good. I love to stay here because many variety of food during breakfast and the environment are welcoming. Good job team
I attended an event / annual dinner at the first floor ballroom. I must congratulate the hotel for the superb arrangement of the tables, the cleanliness of the room and the crisp clean air smell in the area.
The sound system was adequate and the lighting passable. The food was surprisingly better than I expected. Other than arriving a tad bit cold, they are generally delicious and well flavored.
The waiters are attentive and the food came at a good clip. It was generally a good experience and the only issue I had was parking. They don’t really have enough parking so this can be an issue if you are late.
Great place away from city center but near many other tourist attractions. No jam and easy parking in house. Old hotel but still running great. Everything works very well. Nice comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool for my kids. Nice room with water heater pot and hot shower. Very nice breakfast, simple but nice. I like it here and definitely will come again.
