The steak was cooked perfectly, the shrimp was pretty good, and the chicken was amazing! I loved the teriyaki sauce. The dinners come with soup and salad. My husband loved the soup and I loved the little Asian salad. Our server was so nice and so good at his job! I didn’t like the fried rice very much, but I loved the noodles! Our chef, Dallon (sorry if I misspelled that) just finished serving us our food. The char on it is PERFECT! The chicken, shrimp and steak are cooked perfectly too and he was very polite. Had to talk to waitress, stewardess, and finally the chefs to get served. I don’t think it’s worth waiting eating salad with a dressing that tastes like ice cream from a wooly mammoth and eating mushroom soup for 50 min. For the price per head you think it would be more efficient. Not so excited at that point about the birthday. Seems like a money grabbing restaurant not trying to add an experience. This place used to be amazing. Instead we got up and filled them ourselves several times. No waiter came to assist with anything else. Mandatory 22% tip added, adding $45 to the total. Place is dirty but it’s so dark you can’t tell. The eating surfaces seem clean as did the eating utensils. The food was good. I wasn’t as big of a fan of the pad thai. The mango sticky rice is fantastic! Service was friendly and prompt our entire visit. Great spot for some sushi favorites. Fast, friendly service. Good, fresh food that was delivered quickly. Not anything spectacular, but definitely a place I would eat again. It looked like they had a sushi bar which I’d like to try the next time I go.
Went here with my wife and sister. We ordered the Fire Breathing Dragon, Executive Suite and P.D. rolls. All of them were amazing. I particularly enjoyed the Executive Suite, the lime and cilantro worked extremely well with the rest of the roll and is unlike any other sushi roll I have had.
The restaurant was clean and had a great vibe. Our server Jen was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like is I don’t live in Utah so won’t be able to visit often. Those in the area should take advantage of this gem.
Tsunami has long been our favorite sushi restaurant in Utah. Better than Takashi, better than Itto, better than many others. The fish is outstanding and the rolls (minus the fried rolls) feel healthy. They have an excellent gluten free menu and take GF allergies and celiac seriously.

Wonderful Sushi! A great food stop in the Traverse mountain area.
Wonderful staff, great ambience and delicious, delicious sushi.
Tried several rolls and each of them were flavorful and delicious.
It’s decent sushi with a slightly elevated ambiance (albeit with paper napkins). The prices are quite high for the hohum service though.
