What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This location is a go and pickup location.
    Staff are obsolete.
    Chaotic and busy.
You’ll find what you need, they are overflowing with product.
Things are thrown and not well kept.
The most staff you find in one spot is cosmetics.
You might have to travel across the store to check out.
I come here to grab what I need and get out as quick as possible.

  2. Used to love shopping at Macy’s, but their plus size section has become either matronly, atheleisure, or cringe-worthy crop tops (and leather sweatpants??). Not interested in any of that.

Also docking points for witnessing management force an employee into a near breakdown over just trying to organize and clean up a trashed section.

  3. Was located in the mall of America..staff was friendly. Super helpful and very knowledgeable. They were a little pricey in my thoughts but most likely because of the location. They did have some amazing deals and seem in my opinion to have a great and wide variety of clothing , shoes and accessories. They also had an amazing cologne and perfume selection as well as a wide variety of makeup and selection. Super amazing staff.

  4. I had an amazing customer service experience at Macy’s, thanks to Linda. She went above and beyond to assist me in finding the ideal perfume. With her extensive knowledge and warm demeanor, she guided me through the options and provided valuable recommendations. I left Macy’s feeling grateful for Linda’s exceptional service and thrilled with my purchase.

  5. Other than being all but accused of shop lifting… This semi organized store did have a few deals.
I still love Macy’s but maybe skip this one and enjoy the rest of the fabulous Mall of America

The Macy’s at Rosedale Mall is a nice store. Lots to choose from. It was very clean, and the staff we encountered were very helpful, patient, and kind.

There is lots of parking for this store and this Macy’s is in a good location. Plus, after you’re done shopping, there are lots of great food places nearby. There are also plenty of other stores and shopping centers in the area as well.

Way overpriced – same is much cheaper online. Not having a great collection of shoes for men. Good collection of formal wear. There is a starbucks inside it right across the store pickup.

The main store was easy to shop. I love looking through the backstage for their deals, but this trip was a no. It was not sized and unorganized. There was too much merchandise the rack to look at it without something falling, and the two-piece items were missing. Come on, Macy’s, you can do better. I left disappointed.

Busy location indeed. The location is filled with product, you can most likely find something you’re looking for. The ‘Toys R Us’ section can be a wonderful place for kids and adults around the holiday season. They’ve dedicated adequate space to this partnership and it should be a fun journey for both parties. It’s well kept, neat, and well organized. This is a hidden gem for parents trying to find gifts for their little ones. A wide range of toy/brands/names that our kids have grown to love. It’s not just a shelf or two but an entire portion/section of the store that will most likely yield what you need for the holiday season. Didn’t come in contact with staff, they all seemed busy helping others or with tasks. I’ll be back deeper into the holiday season to see if anythings changed.

I can’t adequately describe just how horrible my shopping experience was today at Macy’s Rosedale. Many years ago I worked for Macy’s and it was such a beautiful high-end store with an essense of quality & class. The staff were dressed meticulously, the store was spotless, the service outstanding, the product displayed beautifully…it was an ‘experience’ to shop at Macy’s. Not anymore! Rather a disaster. The store was filthy, ladies restroom disgusting (2nd level closed), racks jammed full of clothes, the floor littered with clothes, couldn’t find sizes, couldn’t find staff, most dressing rooms closed off (one I found had no lights in my room), long lines, staff dressed like they just crawled out of bed, damaged furniture, etc. It was SO disturbing. Macy’s at one time set the standard for department stores. So very sad.

Standard Macy’s location. I am impressed by the areas dedicated to the Cafe, and season areas. They’ve dressed this location up pretty well with holiday decor. Sales are beautiful, a lot of 60% off around the entire location. This location has to be the biggest, or the second biggest location in the state. This location is clean, staff were pretty busy, staff are usually dedicated to their depts and or busy being a cashier. Great space, a lot of product, and you can definitely find steals.

I don’t recommend anyone to the department of fragrance.

The Fragrance department, the weakest customer service I have experienced. All the department associates including the manager I have tried to explain the situation was very rude, instead of listening and finding a good solution this manager told me to call the 800 number for customer service. I don’t recommend anyone as a human being to this department. Thank you.

I was in the makeup department and had the good fortune to meet Edward on his first day there. I got such devoted and exemplary service. It was like another time. For those who remember, like Daytons in their heyday. I was delighted with the high level of service. Not what you often get anywhere these days. I will go back and always search for Edward to help me. I recommend you do the same!

This was my first and last time coming to this mall. I came to Macy’s to get some shoes with my mother and we told the lady what size we needed and could she grab them from the back. She ignored us and ended up doing something else and when we asked her where the shoes were she acted like she couldn’t hear us and said she’s going to grab them. She came back with the shoes and hesitated to give us them. I tried them on and she watched us the whole time, we went to the register to pay for them and she put them behind the counter because she thought we would steal them. Once we paid for them my mom had a dress in her hand and we told the lady we were going to pay for it downstairs, because we were still shopping. She she said we couldn’t do that and we had to pay for the dress upstairs, so that’s exactly what my mom did to let the lady know we didn’t need to steal anything. She checked the woman for her behavior and she got very quiet, along with the other associate. The lady was obviously racist and this is just very upsetting because this is our first time coming here. Macy’s does not have good service at all! If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

Dajia within MAC was and is amazing, wish I could take her with me everytime I needed my makeup done. She is flexi le and the store ona Saturday on has her there and she maintained great professionalism with doing my make up and people purchasing material. She is great at her craft! Thats why I went back to make another purchase of some of the products she used.
