a month agoWhat happened to this place? It has gone so far downhill that it’s hit the bottom. The men’s department used to have designer clothes (i.e. Tommy Hilfiger, etc). Now it’s just a bunch of random clothes thrown all over. No one is there to help tailor a suit anymore. When this was a Famous-Barr, it was the place to be. Those days are sadly over. This store could easily be returned to glory if they just put some money into it and remodel some and bring back clothes people WANT to wear. Until that day happens, bypass this store and head to Dillard’s. So much nicer than this place.4 months agoI honestly prefer the West County store over this one but I happen to live closer so I often shop at the men’s fragrance counter. I have had particularly great experience with the women at this location as opposed to the West County store. The only reason I prefer the West County store is that it’s much more kept up but I understand that staffing and running retail in this economy lately is very difficult so I will not hold that against you in this review I just wanted to point out the fact that I have received great customer service when sampling the men’s fragrances and also when coming back to purchase. Very pleasant sales ladies. Keep up the great work.2 months agoEvery size but mine…naturally. 😶 no air conditioning going. Restroom 30miles away. Sweating like a pig. 3hrs worth fitting rooms (only one) 20miles away. Nobody to help you. Expensive 🧐 stuff. Not returningin the last weekThis is my most favorite Macy’s location of all the locations. The employees are so friendly, helpful and just low-key welcoming.5 months agoStood at men’s cologne for near 20 minutes patiently waiting for anyone to possibly even acknowledge me or let me know they would be with me shortly I tried getting their attention and they flat out ignored me so I went to Dillard’s and bought a 150$ bottle of cologne that I was there for. not sure if they thought I just wanted samples or to smell things but I was in and out of Dillard’s and greeted well before I could even make it to the men’s counter total transaction was under 10 minutes. Will no longer be purchasing my fragrances or polos here

Going to Macy’s to get a piece of luggage. I was pretty much in and out. Luggage apartment is upstairs on the third floor. It’s not too much traffic up there so the line was long at the register. As with most things in Macy’s they are pricey. The store was clean, the sales woman was quick to tell me where I needed to go (in a very friendly tone), and thankfully they had a great sale going on. In and out just like I needed to be.
I returned some bras’ that I ordered on line. The young lady that waited on me was just awesome. Her name was Brittany. She was so pleasant and very helpful. I also went to the finish line shoe department in Macy where the young man that waited on me and my neighbor was name Jared. The young man was so helpful and very patient, since we were two senior citizens. He was also awesome. Will differently be back.
The ladies at the fragrance counter is absolutely inviting, great at their jobs and don’t make you feel like they don’t wanna be there unlike the man at the jewelry counter. When I told him I couldn’t see myself spending 400 for a pair of earring he’s was almost belittling and not helpful after. I left and ordered the same pair on sale half off from the website.
I found Amaris in the Fragrance department who helped me quite a bit with not only this, but also checking out for a great down Pillow. They have a great selection with many discounted items!
The best fragrance store with the best fragrance consultants. Amaris was super kind, knowledgeable and helpful, she went above and beyond to make us happy. Thank you so much for helping us pick the best fragrance to wear at our friend’s wedding! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
