I enjoyed using the gym which was clean, well equipped and professionally staffed. The pool area was clean and very relaxing. The room is spacious and good. Easy access to lots of tourist places. The buffet spread is lavish with Malay, Chinese, Cold Cuts, Indian, and whatnot. It will actually take you a bit of time to figure out what to eat. The staff is courteous and helpful. Warm cookies were given at the time of check-in. Nothing to complain about as such. Since the hotel is located inside the Intermark Mall, there are a lot of eating options, grocery store, and even a pharmacy store. Disliked · The extra tray charges (around 5 RM) for in-room dining should be waived off. Not everything has to be charged always. At least on moral and humanitarian grounds. Pros: Welcomed by warm cookies, which is a good gesture. Room is spacious. Cons: Was quite happy to see fruit and cake platter when entered the room as I just came here from a long trip. However when I was about to tear off the cling wrap of the cutlery, I noticed the fork was stained with food remains in chocolate shade. Also, there was visible dirt on the wall of the bathroom. The service apartment is really badddd..u have to pay for your parking, 3 towels given for 2 bedroom apartments? Even though I clearly booked for 5 person. So many tiny cockroaches in the toilet, with cracked bath tub tiles.
I’ve stayed at berjaya hotel and it is much better and recommended!
Booked a superior room for 3 nights. An affordable option for travellers. It is located in the heart of KL and nearby many landmarks and malls.
Although the interior was a little old and some fixtures were not working efficiently, it is understandable for the price paid.
Amenities such as pool, gym, and breakfast were available during the stay. The staff have been accommodating and responsive to service requests.
We really loved our stay in Service Suites of Time Square. Got our room on the high floor. The city view from the window was majestic. The manager was really helpful. And yes we got an upgrade also.
Amazing service, a true five star hotel with many nice people. EVERYONE greets you at any time which i think is really nice. They like to help whenever. As a European solo traveller this hotel is cheap and definitely worth all it’s money. It’s also next to the Berjaya shopping mall and theme park, so everything you need nearby.
When I was here last time this hotel was much better 8 years ago. Not really impressed having seen it now. It badly needs renovations. Bedroom door lock was broken, the bathroom tiles were loose, the phone in the room is stuck from the early 2000s and the hallway outside the bedroom is reminiscent of a horror movie…very dated and dead. The 3rd bed we were provided was absolutely terrible, it was broken and chipped and presented horribly before I spoke up and asked for another wish wasn’t much better but they covered it up nicely and it was comfortable enough. Finally the room I booked was inclusive of mini bar which consists of 2 cans of soft drink and 2 kids lunch box sized chips/ crisps.
The service from staff was excellent, truth be told and the buffet breakfast was great. Pool was really nice but wish it was a heated pool.
The fitness room was okay nothing fancy.
The spa at the hotel be mindful they require payment upfront and is not charged to your room.
Considering the price they charge, it isn’t worth it to stay here. It’s very overpriced considering the renovations needed to upgrade.
The shopping mall…don’t get me started. Place is very dead now. Apparently they all blame the pandemic and its a shame. It used to be so vibrant and full of atmosphere.
