  2. I’ve listened to Austin on several podcasts dedicated to Youth Baseball. I know that Austin has a national profile among baseball insiders- so I listened intently to his ideas. I was so impressed with his approach to teaching/training combined with his deep knowledge of the game that I wrote to him directly to see if my 9 year old son Sebastian might be able to train at Wasserman Strength. To my surprise, Austin explained that he had a program called Youngblood Training for young baseball athletes and that we would be welcome to give it a try. Now, I should explain that we live just west of Boston- and that it is a little bit of a drive to get to Nashua- but after just the first session- we were hooked. The 45 minute drive is nothing- given how strongly we feel about the program. Each session is a little under 2 hours- and combines all sorts of stretching, strength training, baseball drills/games- and its done in a fun and friendly competitive environment. Being ever curious- I ask lots of questions- and Austin patiently answers them all in a clear and understandable way. And yes- it is AUSTIN himself that leads the group. One might think that he would pass along this task to an assistant- but no, here is there in person on the floor- teaching and coaching the kids. And Austin is fantastic with kids- it takes a certain type of personality to connect with kids- and Austin has it. He keeps it fun and supports everyone. I can’t speak highly enough about him and his team. I am so thrilled that my son has the chance to work with him and I look forward to a long relationship with Wasserman Strength.
