  1. We just adopted 2 kittens from TAF. The kittens had been in foster care since they were 3 days old. We knew we were approved and just had to wait until they were old enough. The foster moms were so great at keeping us updated and sharing pictures. When we picked them up from their surgery the staff was very kind and they explained everything we needed to know. I highly recommend adopting over buying a pet. Not only are you saving the lives of the animal you bring into your family, you make space for another animal to be saved.

  2. This location of the animal foundation is horrible. I had all intentions of adopting, my daughter and I showed up not knowing how this location was operating. I ask the front desk recipients if they do a meet and greet with your own dog and she was so rude in explaining things to me and was quickly giving me papers and didn’t want to help me. It was my first time adopting and we had been over to the Henderson location and everyone there was awesome and helpful, so I expected the same.
    I didn’t even finish my search at the location because she was so rude that I was completely disappointed and left.
    Now I know why that facility is so over crowded, there staff and the process was way to extensive.
    We left and went back to the Henderson location, and was able to do a meet and greet with our dog and we left in a hour time with our new family member (Sharpie 6 months old) we are so Happy with our experience at the Henderson location.
    I will not recommend or refer anyone to this location.
    They need a better system!! And helpful, friendly staff!!

  3. Do not surrender your pets here. This place is a HIGH KILL shelter that fired its last COO because he gave them a report on their shelter and he stated that they needed to do better. Attached is a picture of people protesting the Animal Foundation’s bullying of pet partners and lack of leadership.

  4. We adopted our baby, Moose from here back in December. He is our world. The adoption process took a very long time, but for a good reason. There was many people there to adopt other pets. Thank you !

  5. I really enjoyed my time at the shelter working with the cats representing Boys Town. The volunteer coordinator, staff & Michael the volunteer were great! I will come back to volunteer. Thank everyone for all the services they provide for the animals. Blessings to All.

    Today my sister took her 2 dogs to the bathroom and cut the hair of the smallest one, they only bathed him and cut his nails, saying that he was not allowed to do anything, he is a Pomeranian of almost 1 year old, they have already taken him before and They cut his hair but today it seems that they didn’t want to work, he really needs a cut and they didn’t cut it, the other puppy had longer hair in one place and short hair in another, the previous time my sister had a hard time when they insisted that the smallest dog was not vaccinated and they did not have it written down in their system when clearly he had everything up to date. We will change the place for the bathroom but we wanted to share this so that they become aware of the treatment that is given to their clients, we are not asking for anything as a gift, we are paying to be given a good service.

    The dogs looked so happy here. They have a huge selection of animal toys and decorations. Prices seemed to be very good. They have endless amount for fish tanks and some really cool decorations. There were just 2 cats while I was there. They also have dog grooming as well and it looked clean and professional. They also had snakes, and turtles as well.

    I wouldn’t take my dog there for boarding. I walked in and it smelled so bad. They showed me one empty room in front and said they don’t let you back there. Caution they had theses two tiny puppy’s with a bunch of big dogs and the girl look like she couldn’t even handle one of the bigger dogs.

    The Grooming Salon at PetSmart on Stephanie is the absolute best! I won’t say the name of my groomer because then I will have a hard time booking lol. But THE BEST groomer my dog has had in 14 years of life.

    I went to Petsmart to buy dog food that I previously bought there. I looked down every food aisle and couldn’t find it. I asked a store employee and was told that food was not being carried at Petsmart anymore. I told him what ingredients I was looking for in the food. He contacted another employee and asked for a comparable food to the food I previously purchased. He took me to the food that was suggested. He read the list of ingredients to me. It was exactly what I was looking for. I took it home and fed my dog. He loves it! I didn’t get the young man’s name 😕 but he did an excellent job of helping me. Your cashier was great too. She kept a smile on her face ☺ even when the line got a little busy. She was friendly to everyone. She is everything a business would want in a cashier!

    always has what my pets need, clean store and the lines for check out are fast compared to the other locations; however this time I went in the hopes of buying some silver dollar fish only to witness that these beautiful fish were being eaten alive by 50 plus tiger barbs, so, of course I ranted and filed an official complaint in regards to animal neglect, cruelty and poor operations. usually Im pleased with this store but not this time around and hopefully this store will get their act together.

    NEVER AGAIN! I will never take my dog for a groom here again. Grommet, my 100lb labradoodle, gets regular grooming somewhere else but my groomer got sick and had to cancel. Grommet was due to a photo shoot for his latest advert so I wanted him cleaned up. I got a call and told me that he was too big and they couldn’t finish the job. Grommet gets regular grooming so he is used to the feeling of the shaver and the sound as well. He was ½ shaved and the bits they did shave were inconsistent, spotty and long in some places and shaved to the bone in other. They didn’t even bother with his genital area. This was worse than amature. A child with paper scissors could have done a better job. I am gobsmacked. The pics say it all.
