What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. We are visiting out of state and my husband went to the veterinary area to ask if there is over the counter for a dog with diarrhea. He was told he would have to ask someone in the store because they were a veterinary clinic. I completely understand they are a clinic and they get paid for their advice but we weren’t asking for any services just if there was an over the counter recommendation we could try first. Very disappointing!!

  2. I was a little skeptical of using their grooming services but I’m glad I did. My dog has been a customer since October 2022 and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve booked with Sarah, Danielle, and Crystal and they’ve all done great jobs. 10/10 definitely recommend bringing your fur baby here for grooming.

  3. I love this PetSmart & all the super sweet people in every department. It’s a great store, clean, easy to find what you need, and they have pretty much everything you could want. I’m not shopping anywhere else but here, because so far, everything has been top quality & low priced stuff — every once and a while they do treat sales & stuff too!

  4. Friendly service. My favorite stylist so far is Sarah. She asked what I wanted and delivered!!!

  5. Was there about fish, aquarium plants, shrimp and crabs. Very knowledgeable aquarium person, very helpful. But needs more help, lately just 1 or 2 people in a store on weekends when it gets busy.

Everyone who works there is wonderful! Got a beautiful blue pit bull terrier mix yesterday during adoption month. She’s so friendly and well-adjusted.

Tried to do a good deed today while I was at the dog park next door to the shelter with my puppy. I saw a stray dog roam around and almost got hit by multiple cars. This dog looked scared and malnourished. I attempted to catch this dog while trying to hold onto my puppy. Seeing this dog’s life at risk, I immediately ran into the shelter to inform the workers. Without hesitation, they yelled at me to leave and didn’t not even say a simple thank you. Please keep in mind that there were multiple animal control trucks in this parking lot. Every worker has a cold heart and doesn’t even care about the well-being of animals nor people just trying to help.

If i could give them zero stars I would. They allow workers to alert their family members of full blooded expensive dog. I think that is so unfair to others that don’t know until they them online. I got up there 30 minutes early and there 2 people here already, the first person of course was the family member. It should be a rule for the employees to not share with family and friends of whats about to be put out. How i knew, because the worker can out of the meet and greet room with the kids that came with the first arriver. Another employee asked who’s kids she had and she told her. She tried to whisper about everything, but she didn’t know how, smh.

Don’t surrender your animal here!! Post them on Facebook or Craigslist and find a loving home for them!! We adopted our kitten here. The facility is SUPER clean and it’s really nice, and relatively quiet. The staff is the reason this place doesn’t have 5 stars. The front desk ladies seem unhappy and cold. Either they’ve been doing the job way too long or whoever trained them has been at it for too long. The adoption process was super lame. We finally got a kitten and they didn’t smile or congratulate or even say bye to the kitty. They just kept telling us about all these rules and fines. They’re way too jaded by this job and should go work somewhere that isn’t a fun life changing day for people. We came several times looking at the kitties until we found ours.

The staff was great and we were able to bond with our new pet before the adoption process. The adoption was very easy and all my questions were answered prior to the adoption.

I went in for a puppy and came out with a 5 yr old Labrador Retriever/Mastiff. He is the sweetest and most gentle dog I have ever met. When we first met him he immediately connected with my husband. He sat and gave us his paw and since then he has become an essential part of our family. Very grateful for Prairie Paws and all the services they provide when you decide to adopt with them!

I love the American Staffordshire Terrier puppy who I named Dottie! The fee was so affordable with my puppy being spayed. There were so many beautiful dogs to choose from already neutered and spayed that it was hard to make a decision. However, the puppy already knows how to use the training pad or outside and is just so smart. The staff are all friendly and patient to work with.

We had a great experience adopting a dog. Whoever has the job of naming the dogs does an A+ job. I also liked that the layout of the dog kennels allows people to look in on each kennel through a small window rather than the full door side. This seemed to be much less stressful for the dogs. All of the employees were helpful and kind. We were able to meet with the dog we were interested in, and processed the paperwork efficiently.
