Dr. B is the best! Followed him from his last office to Wellness Plus. Takes an interest in patients and their lives. I have not been treated by a finer chiropractor than Dr. Joe Barlett and I have referred numerous patients to his care.
However, I will not be referring anyone to Wellness Plus again. I arrived early for my massage, only to find out that the massage person just decided not to come to work that day. The front desk clerk did not inform me that I would not be receiving a massage today and my appointment with Dr. Joe was not until an hour later. The desk clerk simply allowed me to just sit there until I inquired, well into my scheduled massage.

I use to love going to the joint, but needed to find something to better fit my lifestyle and care I needed. I canceled with the West Ashely location in October of 2020 ( they even have my last visit on their records), but can’t seem to find the cancellation document that I 100% went into the location to sign. I have had a membership at The Joint in NC and know that you must go in and sign a document to cancel your membership. I had my membership on auto draft on my flex spending card through work and I was NOT charged for November or December 2020. SO in my mind, it was canceled. Fast forward to the present day… I went to use my Flex spending card and it was declined, which is impossible. When I called to figure everything out, I have been charged $69.00 every month from Jan 2021 to the present day (totaling) $1449.00. They claimed my card was declined, and they sent me 2 emails to say, “We haven’t seen you in 15 days”. I never received these emails and I still haven’t received anything after I requested this information. I spoke to Lauren at the front desk 4 times now requesting a call from management…nothing. Jenna from accounting called me to offer 20 visits, which is laughable. You would think after a customer doesn’t show up for months, someone would call instead of continuing to collect money for a year and 9 months.
Update: Yes, Jenna is the ONLY person to call me and she said I would be getting a call back from magagement. I never have. I have NEVER received these screen shots from you either.
I went into The Joint (West Ashley) with a pain rating of 8 and the inability to even sit down. The pain was constant and got be exhausting. I was skeptical if a chiropractor could solve my issue but I went anyway. After meeting Dr. Campbell she explained in great detail how this pain started, where it was coming from and the necessary steps to feel better. She was very upfront with me in a sense that it wasn’t something that could be fixed over night. Fast forward a month and my pain is down to a 1 and I can sit down again! She’s truly a master of her craft.
Very professional and highly educated and qualified. Great, quick process. Monthly subscription excellent.
Everyone at this location has their own great qualities. Every time I come in for an adjustment I know I’ll be taken care of, no matter who calls my name to come on back.

I went to joint cause I had a pinched nerve in my back. They said they could help and recommended i by a monthly plan so she talked me into it. I didn’t read the fine print saying I have to have it for 2 months. That’s fine they got my money. But after going there 5 times it relieved pain for 5 min afterwards that’s it. so I think I should go to a Ortho since the joint is not helping. So I go to cancel and they said no it’s in the contract. I have to pay for 2 months- fine. I’m not going back there how can I transfer my 1 month to someone that can use it? You cant! So if you’re in pain don’t go to that fast food chiropractor. Go to in wellness motion to get stretched for a little more money. They come up with a plan and fix the problem not put a band aid on it and talk you into a contract. My fault for not reading fine print so I’ll take the blame and pay. I signed a contract with in wellness btw they allow you to cancel if it’s not working for you cause they have faith that they will help unlike the JOINT who didn’t help at all!!!!
