- Reviews:We adopted two cats here on the same day, process was very easy! We called to reserve a time slot I got to walk around and play with all the kitties and then went up front and told him the two we would like to go home with fill it out a little bit of paperwork and then got to go home the same day with two new furry friends 🙂 They have added so much love and excitement to our lives and we’ve continued to donate to the shelter through their Amazon wish list and sending some other fun toys ????By Faith Ebersole (2 years ago)This is not my favorite plans to go only because I feel so bad for the helpless animals there. I try to visit and make donations at least every two months and spend time with the animals. The kennels are always clean and the volunteers are busy spending time doing other things for the animals.By kat kochera (a month ago)The absolute worst staff and policies I’ve ever seen, hands down. Total stranger takes my dog to meet the prospective adoptee, no warning, no introduction or greeting to my dog; walks my dog over and is allowing my dog to pull rather than correct; she issues no correction AT ALL. Needless to say that, this type of interaction elicits confrontation. They wouldn’t allow me to be involved or coach. I’ve introduced my dog to many other dogs with no issues, but somehow with these “professionals” that do this “all the time” it was an issue…so I guess its just another kill stat for them. The problem is the staff and their lack of knowledge and training! Adopt at your own risk! If you own another pet, its best not to mention that or you’ll go through the same experience I did….total trash. Side note, the pup has been with them since mid April and was very emaciated! unacceptable!By TheBartMan (a month ago)What a great cause, and I am very grateful for the efforts they take to rescue animals to update their vaccines, and find good homes. We got one of our cats from the shelter and he is as happy as can be.By Junipa Suslu (2 months ago)Thankful for the wonderful companions that you brought into my life. Brutus, Louie, Daisy and so many others. Keep up the great work!By BcOneSeven (a year ago)

- Reviews:Very great experience at this vet despite my kitty having to get surgery. It was our first visit but it seems like this vet runs really well and that the staff are on top of things. We were seen in a timely fashion, everything was explained throughly by the Dr., and all of the women working at the front desk were very pleasant. I felt comfortable with them caring for my kitty and was updated frequently about her status when she was their without me. I will switch all my pets to this vet in the future.By Taylor M (a week ago)Aside from left turns out being a nightmare some days.. They’re always empathetic and compassionate toward my family and our animals. They offer competent and considerate care and have never shown signs of cutting corners to cut costs. Their prices have risen over the years, q little, but they are the only vet I use for a reason. Locally, they are the best.. and you get what you pay for.By Runic Guardian (2 weeks ago)We started going to this vet a few years ago when our previous vet office closed. The care we have received at this office is extraordinary. The staff is all caring and understanding from the front counter staff, to the techs to the vets. Our dog does not like being confined or feet touched but the staff was able to cut our dogs nails and look at her torn dewclaw without issue. I could not speak higher of this office. They are able to get you in usually the same day if needed. They have provided exceptional care to our dog since switching to them.By Jesse P (a week ago)I will never go to another vet clinic if I can help it!!! My dog Baxter is 12 years old and we finally discovered Cumberland Valley by word of mouth from a neighbor. I wish we found them sooner!! Every member of their staff and care team was phenomenal, from my first phone call to leaving the clinic. The front desk staff was very polite, showed empathy, and displayed professionalism. I was very impressed by our vet tech and Dr. Dolan who both showed great care and concern for my pet. They were both very diligent and thorough in gathering every detail possible to fully assess my dog and provide sound recommendations and a diagnosis. They took their time to assess every detail I could provide them, were very patient and pleasant towards both my pet and I, provided us all pathway options with the pros/cons, and just overall blew me away. You can tell this clinic is ran like a well-oiled machine and they stay true to the values expressed on their website. The entire atmosphere of the clinic was wonderful. I’ve been unsatisfied with the other few clinics my dog has seen over the years, and CVVC surpassed all my expectations. I’m so grateful we found them and look forward to using them from now on.By Caitlyn Kinsey (5 months ago)I wouldn’t recommend anyone taking a pet here. This place is nothing but money hungry. I have a diabetic little yorkiepoo. They denied filling his insulin, and was willing to let the dog suffer. This was all over 65 dollars. I found another veterinarian clinic that’s been so awesome. The Mid- Atlantic vet on professional court here in Hagerstown. I’ve never posted a review ever about any business. I spoke with the manger about my my bad experience. She blamed me and said everything was my fault. I said I was gonna leave a bad review. The manager then said everyone says they’re gonna leave a bad review about Cumberland valley veterinarian clinic, and never do. I guess I’m not everyone else… If you care about whatever type of pet you have. I would choose another veterinarian clinics….By Terry Otzelberger (a week ago)

Just moved to the area recently and needed my Poms groomed. Never been to this store before. Took them in; two dogs, two different sets of instructions; two different groomers. Both dogs were PERFECT! Groomed just as I had requested. The one older pup does NOT like being brushed but the young lady did her best and he came out looking absolutely wonderful! Can not recommend this grooming salon enough!
The worker was extremely knowledgeable. He helped me find some live floating plants while explaining that the lid on my tank would trap/drip condensation onto the plants, which they wouldn’t like. Advised me to leave my lid cracked a tiny bit to release the excess moisture and its working like a charm. They also had the floating log that I couldn’t find at any other local fish store, and my betta fell in love with it immediately. They had a pretty cool betta hammock for my Finnie boy, which he also loves already. Picked up some pretty awesome decor hides while I was there. I’m glad that they had a wide variety at decent prices because some stores cost way too much for tank decor and hides.
The best place for our lil’ fella.
This is the 2nd time I’ve taken my goldendoodle to be groomed. He LOVES going there. They do a great job with his haircut. It’s reasonably priced. Easy to get appointments.
Great selection and service. Staff are super friendly and pets are welcome.
