  1. From the first visit to assess the issues, OHA staff were professional and friendly. When it was obvious our old system was beyond repair, they gave us a range of options and price points and when we selected the materials, connected us with their financing. They arranged an appointment for the next day and started working full on for two days. There were many challenges in this quirky older house but they kept meeting them patiently, always positive and thoughtful. Our house has been brought into the 21C with new programmable HVAC and new hot water heater. We know it is an investment in our home and feel confident it adds value, as well as comfort.

  2. Jonathan came to our house to check our AC unit; it had stopped working and couldn’t make headway with the company that installed it, so we gave up on them. After thoroughly checking every valve and parts he found three Freon leaking areas. At his point, we decided to purchase a new unit; it will be installed in only two days. In the meantime, he (OHA) lent us two portable units so we can ride out the heat wave. We couldn’t ask for better service; we had used this company in our previous home and were very satisfied , as well.

  3. I had Trevor Kelley and one technician come to install my new American Standard heating and air condition system yesterday. Trevor came and met me and explained how the whole procedure worked from start to finish. He was very professional on the whole process along with his other technician. They kept the whole downstairs clean installing tarps to protect my rug areas. So impressed with the system such a beautiful job. They mentioned they had a scrubber if I wanted to go ahead and install at the same time. This was something I wanted to do. Trevor saved timed for another visit got this done in one day. An excellent cleanup job was all completed. I have been with OHA over 15 years love the dependability and care.

  4. Brandon did a great job installing our new i2500 Regency wood stove. He is very good at communicating where needed throughout the job. The job was delayed by 6 days as he, Matthew and Griffith made a wise decision to rent a man lift to safely access our rather tall chimney.
    Matthew did a good job as well with the install and final instructions when completed. A very good crew overall! I would use them again!

    Our Old HVAC system started giving us problems this past winter and we knew we were going to have to bite the bullet and replace our whole system. April 22nd my Unit went down and I went into a panic because it gets super hot here. I also have 3 kids with very bad allergies. So we started the calling process for estimates. The First place we called was Robert B. Payne. Marsha took the call and quickly sent us a wonderful man named Robbie. This was all done within 2 hours of our phone call. Robbie came out, showed up early and went through alot of options and prices. The sticker shock can be overwhelming but he was there to explain to us how we could afford it using a special financing options through Wells-Fargo. That process was very easy and absolutely no pressure from him at all. I asked him all kinds of questions including how fast can we get the job done, are your crews experienced, and is this really a good price? We all had a few laughs at my questions but he answered all of them with a smile. He left and I already knew this was the company I wanted to use. So I grabbed my computer got on to Wells Fargo and was approved within minutes. I had a few more questions because the interest rate was different then originally quoted online. So I called Marsha back and she walked me through the whole process. It wasn’t different by the way. Then once I had the financing we scheduled for May 5 2022. My unit was still somewhat working so that timeline was perfect. Well 2 days later my unit no longer was able to cool at all. The forecast was calling for 89 and the pollen was out of this world. So I called back and this time I got Erin. She is just an angel and I swear we are just good friends now. She listened to my concerns and tried to get someone out sooner but every single crew was already running full time. But she didn’t want us to suffer through the pollens and heat. SO she contacted her service team and they offered to bring me out a window unit FREE OF CHARGE. They came out that day and installed it for me. What an amazing thing to do for us. Then after that was taking care of I was thinking about those dang Pollens and I remembered my very good friend had an Air Scrubber and she just swears by them. So back on the phone I went and spoke to Erin. She patched me through to Robbie and we spoke about the Air scrubber and determined That YES this is what I wanted. He was able to offer me a great price and I added it to my order. Now all I had to do was wait till today May 5th for my install. The crew showed up at 7:30am ready to work. Everyone was so kind and introduced themselves to me. Ricky, Tommy, and Nick. They went straight to work. They all wore shoe guards so they did not get dirt on my carpet. Ricky explained everything to me before he got started. The paperwork was all neat and ready for signatures but he allowed me to look it over and ask any questions. I noticed the air scrubber was not the Ozone as I thought I was going to receive so he then called Rebecca and she said they would grab that one and run it to us but after speaking to the crew and Ricky I decided to go with this one. But at anytime I wanted the other one I could just call back. The install was pretty quick. Here at 7:30am and completed by 11:30am. Ricky even helped me set up my fancy new thermostat and showed me the app to download on my phone. Super Awesome by the way. After every thing was done He came upstairs reviewed everything and made sure I was happy and that all my questions were answered. They were. Then he said okay lets go take a tour of all the new equipment. WE did and it was beautiful. They left no mess and I am very happy. They did a great job and I highly recommend them.

    Robert B Payne quickly responded to our need to have our boiler replaced. The installers, Ricky, Tommy and Sam were very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They kept the area neat and clean taking great care as they took apart and removed the old boiler. Bob Thompson, Owner, was very compassionate and concerned about the outside temperatures dropping. He offered alternate heat sources until the new boiler could be delivered and installed. This is a historic home with radiator heat and the HVAC system has been well maintained by Robert B Payne through at least the past 50 years. Thank you so very much, Bob and Team for doing such a great job!

    My old system was having some issues it was 12yrs. Old. Not wanting to put more money into repairing old unit. I decided to bite the bullet and get a new system installed. Robbie came out and gave quote. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I had 3 qoutes . I call and ask Robert Payne for another quote for stage 2 heat pump. I was given a new that day. I called and schedule appointment. Personal on the phone helpful and polite. The crew that came out was polite and answered any question I had. Rickey went over with me and explained all that they did. He went over the silver and gold plans for maintenance. Ricky had 2 other people working with him Tommy and Sam very polite. They got to work and had new unit installed and the heat back on. Great job. Highly recommend. Thanks.

    We’ve been with Robert B, Payne for many years. They have always been professional and personable. The preventive maintenance jobs completed quickly and follow up report received immediately. The only difference in today’s case is that the technician arrived at the door, did not introduce himself or the company for which he was representing. It was his vehicle and shirt, along with a phone call asking if he could arrive early, that confirmed who he was and why he was there. This was a first. We highly recommend any company representative introduce themselves, state the reason they are there, and show proof. That’s just us though. Again, all was completed professionally and quickly in this case. No complaints here. We do recommend the company for your air and heating needs.

    Derek and John arrived exactly on time and and fully prepared to get to work. They both encouraged questions and were more than happy to answer them. The teamwork they exhibited was top notch. The entire installation process flowed seamlessly, like a well oiled machine. Drop cloths were used on walking surfaces, both Derek and John had no issues with wearing a mask during the install, and both working areas (inside and outside) were left clean and tidy. I am extremely happy with the entire install process and time frame (less than 24 hours from request for quote to having Billy there providing the quote, 3 business days from accepting the quote to install day, complete removal of old and installation of new outside heat pump, inside air handler, and thermostat in approximately 5 hours). My overall satisfaction with Derek, John, Billy and Total Comfort Heating and Air is 5 stars. I would recommend these guys to ANYONE needing HVAC service and/or support. Great job guys!

    Total Comfort is a very reliable company. The replacement of the HVAC system was completed in one day as promised. Chris, Ashton, John and Antoine were very courteous and professional. Chris answered all my questions thoroughly and the few minor issues encountered were easily and quickly addressed. The in office support staff was also very easy to work with. Chris also followed up the next day to ensure the system was working well and to make some minor adjustments to the thermostat settings for the humidifier. I have been a customer for over 20 years and this is the second system that I have purchased from Total Comfort. I highly recommend them.

    Old hot water heater failed and after a estimate was provided ARS Rescue Rooter was sent through Total Comfort to replace our old hot water heater. The technician sent was Thomas LT Brown was very courteous and friendly from the start to finish. The installation was flawless and was completed in less than a couple of hours. One hour later we had hot water with no more issues of leakage and inability to regulate the temperature and it was with the old hot water heater. I highly recommend this company and technician for any hot water heater issue you may have. Two thumbs up 👍👍, definitely would hire them again.

    Extremely responsive: From initial system review to removal of old system and installation of new gas furnace and relocation and installation of AC unit. Complete process start to finish in less than a week. Did not try to up sell any equipment and spent a fair amount of time explaining the differences in systems. The installation technicians were efficient, skilled and friendly. They cleaned up everything, basically left no trace vice a brand new system!p

    Having a major component of your home need to be replaced is never an easy experience but dealing with the folks at Total Comfort really softened the blow. The salesperson Cliff was very helpful in his quote and the technicians, John and Antoine were excellent with their installation and explanation of my new thermostat as well as the functionality of my new system as a whole.
