What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I’ve used Harts Services twice now and had an excellent experience the first time. They were on time to their appointment and had the water heater installed in a couple hours. We recently had a large amount of water damage to our home and have been left without a kitchen. We’ve been in the process of rebuilding and needed a utility sink installed. I went to Home Depot to purchase a sink called them to see if they could install it for us. I made the appointment and received the text message at 10:37 and was told 30-45 minutes. The team showed up 90 minutes from when the text was sent. I had another appointment that day that I had to cancel as a result. Additionally, the installation took less than 15 minutes and I was charged 300 dollars. I wasn’t aware plumbing was so lucrative. We are also in the process of preparing for a total re-plumbing of our house which could be upwards of 18,000 dollars worth of work. I can say we will not be using Harts for this service.

  2. Hart’s Home Services came to the rescue when my water pipe froze and burst on a Holiday Friday. Dominic was professional, courteous, and thorough!

If I EVER need a plumber or other home service, Hart’s will get my business and I also subscribed to their Home Care Plan which covers over 20 maintenance services and repairs at no additional charge for only $10/month!

I highly recommend Hart’s and I am so grateful that they came to my rescue on a Christmas weekend when over 12 other local plumbers were booked or not available for at least a week out.

Hart’s was a blessing to me – Thank you, Dominic ❤️

  3. They did an investigation of the existing holding tank for the septic system at my property, determined that the tank was not completely full but getting there and I will get the tank pumped tomorrow and then have Harts come back and clean the line completely and do the mapping and any repairs to be sure I have all issues covered.
They saved me money today and did an excellent job of solving my issues. I recommend them and will use them for any plumbing projects that I need. They were very good and Joe did a great job.

  4. Amazing experience from beginning to end. Customer service was great.. Technician’s we’re friendly and did a great job. We had our older house re-piped. Showed me all the old pipes and leaks along the way. Communicated every step and offered a very affordable maintenance plan going forward. Will definitely use Harts plumbing and will definitely recommend to friends.

  5. Nathan and the other tech( sorry about forgetting the name) arrived on time after calling to let me know they would be arriving. Very friendly, courtesy and professional. In this day and age that is very important to me. I explained what I needed looked at. Showed them, they also gave me some recommendations and gave me an estimate. Completed the job in a timely manner, and explained what was done and asked if I had any questions.
Also informed me about a yearly plumbing and electrical inspection and program that Hart’s offer and I jumped all over it.
It’s my first time using this company but I was truly impressed and recommend them. Pricing seemed fair. You get what you pay for.

A new enameled cast iron tub was successfully moved up three flights of stairs and installed in our small bathroom in one day. We will gladly give Fernando and John of Hunts our recommendation. The techs were professional, thoughtful, considerate, and collaborative in solving for the best outcome. The Hunt’s Organization communicated well throughout. We contacted Hunt’s at the recommendation of our neighbor. We called to coordinate a quote and they were very responsive. The initial visit cost $99.00, we were advised, but if they could do the work that day the fee would be discounted from our total. Hunt’s sent me a reminder text the day before confirming our appointment and then again the morning of our appointment. We waited all day and finally received an advisory text. No techs are available today, if you do not have an emergency situation please call to reschedule and your initial fee will be discounted by $35.00. We rescheduled for later that same week. Fernando came out reviewed our job, gave us a quote to remove an old tub and surround, install the new enameled cast iron tub, and replumb the fixtures for the new tub/shower fixtures we purchased elsewhere. We were charged for the visit less the $35.00 discount. We negotiated the price a bit lower as we would remove the old tub surround ourselves (and Fernando would haul it away). We agreed to the amended bid and paid 1/2 to secure the appointment. On the day of the job Fernando and his apprentice arrived as expected. After looking at the tub and where it had to go, they asked if we would be okay with it if they could not do the job. We were surprised. (They were, reasonably, intimidated by the task of moving a 310# 30×60 tub up three flights of stairs). After a brief strategy consultation we all pitched in to make it happen. Knowing that we were amenable to strategizing, Fernando and John applied all of their expertise to our job engaging us as needed to get our tub into place. The job took all day, but everyone was fully satisfied with the results. Thanks Hunts.

Justin was very friendly, very professional. He was knowledgeable of all aspects of the job. He explained in detail why he was doing things the way he did them. I didn’t know service like this still existed. An employee like Justin is an outstanding asset to any company. I recommend Justin and Hunt for any of your plumbing needs. Again Thanks Justin!!! Calvin and family.

Nate and his two crews installed two new HVAC systems on the main floor and second floor of our 3 story house. The project proved to be more complicated than any of us expected but the Hunt’s team did a fantastic job. They earned an A++ grade from us! It’s an old house with a complicated heating system that needed energy efficient air conditioning. The two crews worked well with each other and with us. They took great care in problem solving the best way to install AC and a new furnace on the 2nd floor. When the experienced crew devised a solid plan they went the extra mile to seek second opinions from their supervisors including the company’s lead electrician. Supervisors took time in their schedules to visit the house as well to ensure all work was matching their functionality and energy efficiency goals. They considered the impact of keeping walls, ceilings and a narrow crawl space in tact. A large obsolete commercial size furnace was hidden (no kidding) behind the old working furnace in the crawl space. They dismantled it piece by piece through the narrow crawl space opening. (Hunt’s thinks the commercial furnace was installed when the house was built in the 1960’s.) The main floor furnace needed a different duct material and the crew used metal fabrication to ensure that ducting for AC condensation would be minimized. The crews worked two very long days to complete the job. They were friendly and kept us informed throughout the day about their progress and consistently asked us if we had questions. Professional and really nice people who cared about the quality of the installation and clean up as if it was their old home! We highly recommend Hunt’s HVAC services.

I hired this company in 2016 to repair a leaking pipe in my home and unfortunately had a terrible experience with the contractor, Josh, who is the brother of the company’s owner. He overcharged me and kept increasing his service price saying there needs to be more tools and labor than he initially thought. It ended up costing 10 times more than what was quoted initially, and the final cost was around 4300 dollars. (Look at the picture, do you really think he did work that was worth 4300 dollars?) He failed to properly explain the scope of the work and the final outcome, leaving me responsible for additional repairs and demolitions. The final result was not satisfactory and Josh’s assurance that the job would be covered by insurance proved to be false. I strongly suspect that the company, through Josh, deliberately misled me in order to get more money because Josh never told me to check with the insurance first, instead told me to pay him first and then get money from the insurance for myself which was not the proper way. When I attempted to address my dissatisfaction, it was difficult to get a hold of Josh, and the company showed little interest in resolving my complaints. I would not recommend this company and advise others to be cautious when considering them, specifically when it comes to dealing with Josh.

I highly recommend this company, after having a furnace and air cleaning system installed. The communication among the staff and with the customer is the best I’ve seen. Any questions or concerns are addressed and followed up to confirm understanding. Follow up was made by text, phone, email or a visit. All the technicians were friendly, unobtrusive (but available) and efficient. They cleaned up beautifully; only sign they had been here was a shiny new system and a warm house. I was impressed by the care they took to recheck the work on the day it was installed and also after it had been operating overnight. Not only would I recommend them, we are already scheduled to have some other work done by Hunts. That’s the highest compliment I can give a company.

My sewer line was blocked. The person who first came very nice explained everything said he could try to run the line with his machine. A little later he said he thinks it is blocked, his line would only go so far. He said he would keep trying. This ended with his line getting stuck and coming out of the ground in the neighbors yard. He had to call his supervisor to get this out. This cost around $650. His supervisor came and got the line out. Then the supervisor said he can try to flush the line with his machine but it may not work. This would cost $1300. I said okay because we need the sewer to work. He lets me know he can’t flush the line. So after the visit I paid most $2000 and nothing was fixed. Another person comes with a camera and says the line is collapsed. And it will cost $10,000 to fix this. I said no to paying anymore as the first to workers charged me and nothing got fixed. Thank goodness my husband knows people because we fixed the line for about $400. I feel like I was charged for services that could not be completed. I understand the first charge for $650, but the second charge they could not even flush the line and I was asked to pay $1300. Seems like taking advantage of peoples lack of knowledge and need of the use.

Gunner came out late on Sunday to address an emergency backup we had with our washing machine and a neighboring shower drain. He was very thoughtful and professional, taking a thorough look at our pipe layout and giving us a couple options to pursue. He was upfront about the pricing, making sure to lay everything out plainly and was so quick in addressing the issue. We’d be happy to work with him again on any drain issues we might have!

Dominic was awesome! He was able to get my pipes cleared of the clog. Roto-Rooter dispatch kept me up to date on any delays and the time a tech would be out to my house. Once Dominic got here he did a great job, he kept the house clean while he conducted the job and he was respectful. I would absolutely recommend these guys for any plumbing needs you have!

Our plumber arrived quickly, but part wasn’t available that day. He came the next day to finish job and was able to get us taken care of in between jobs. Price was high, but they were reliable unlike other plumbers I’ve tried to hire. He did his best to find us some discounts.

I called RR at 2:30pm. Was told a tech would be here between 3-4 same day. Within minutes I received a confirmation from Tech Dominic that he would be arriving shortly. He was here quickly and fixed my shower drain within 15 minutes. Polite and courteous is an understatement. Thank you Dominic & RR for helping me on the quick!
