What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I am a fan of this resort since mid 90s and was there almost annually. Stay for 3 nights after border reopen to rejoice the memory lane. But this time, felt amiss with little disappointment.
    Housekeeping:
Bed linen was not replace for 3 nights of stay.
Bathroom was “dry clean” and odour occurs.
    Garden Terrace Coffee House:
Quality of the buffet breakfast was degraded. Most of the greens are not as fresh as it was.
Hence, never has any other meals here unlike the previous days when I was here. (Once I check-in, never leave the resort till check-out)
    Blossom Chinese Restaurant:
Besides the limitation of the full menu, some of dishes still not available. Understand that business here drop tremendously due to the current situation, but the choices of the limited menu is not compromise.
Overall, still a pleasant experience during the last stay. Staff are wonderful as before even though many new faces.
I sincerely hope that this place could be brighten up to her heyday as she used to be. Will come back again next year to witness the shine of her glory days.

  2. For the price per night, you would expect a decent 4 or 5-star accomodations, but nope. The room which I stayed in had beds with stains on them. Even though it might be old but clean sheet, but the stains still made it not worth the price. The room is still relatively clean but old, and the fridge has old ice blocks that clogged on one end. The overall place looks a little rundown, with no renovation or improvement. However, the service is good and the staff is courteous. I saw some staff that don’t look professionally trained (maybe like part-timers during peak meal times) but I have no issue with that as they are very attentive and courteous. The food is so-so as well. The only perk is that the swimming pool is quite nice and well maintained. The beach is also quaint and if you’re looking forward for a decent getaway from the city, this can be the place for you.

  3. Greeted by friendly staff at reception. They are very courteous when explaining about the room and facilities. The room was great. No unpleasant smell and very clean. Tried two restaurants. Both offered ample variety of dishes. Facilities like swimming pool and beachside are clean and well kept. Overall I felt like they really care about my stay there. The hotel located about 12km from Kuantan town.
My only caution is if you are planning on taking a nap after a long drive you may want to avoid ground level rooms because it can be noisy with traffic of people using the swimming pool and going to the beach.

  4. We had a great experience with the beautiful private beach, comfortable family room, and a great Ramadan buffet. The private beach is a big plus since it provides a more exclusive and peaceful environment for us to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. The comfortable family room is also an important factor for us, since we had a one year old baby and was looking for a spacious and relaxing place to stay.

And we absolutely loved the kids play room! Families traveling with children, especially for parents who need some downtime or would like to engage in other activities while their children are entertained in a safe and fun environment. They have one here, the kids would love it!

  5. Liked · I recently stayed at the Swiss-Garden Beach Resort in Kuantan for two nights, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable bedding and modern amenities. The pool was simply amazing with a breathtaking view of the ocean and plenty of lounging space. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from, including both local and international cuisine. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

Disliked · I have to admit that while my stay at the resort was enjoyable, the prices were a bit steep. Specifically, I felt that the price of the room was too high in comparison to the amount of space it provided. Additionally, I found the prices at the floor restaurant to be quite expensive considering the size of the protein served. While the quality of the food was good, the portion size did not justify the cost. Overall, I would recommend that the hotel management consider adjusting their prices to be more reasonable for their guests.

Value for money hotel. Facilities are more than enough. Service is good. Basement parking shared with the convention centre so you have to validate your touch n go at the reception each time you exit. Pool and gym available, but pool only gets evening sun. Hotel has good view of city

Nice place to relax and have a hi-tea. Really like the high head rest sofa. A good privacy for me and family to spending time together. Plus the parking is cheap u can leave the car and go to nearest mall which is only a walking distance.

STAYED DURING CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAY 2023. HAD TO QUEUE 30-40 MINUTES FOR BREAKFAST. FULLY BOOKED (maybe) BUT NOT PROPERLY MANAGED TO ENSURE GUESTS COMFORT (especially we were made to pay surcharge during weekend/public holiday). 5 STAR HOTEL? NOPE…especially during this date….👎👎👎

Good: The hotel is located on the beach, which at time of visiting (mid October) was not busy. The sand is soft and the sea was warm. Several sunbeds available. The pools (which you pass before getting to the beach area) are good, with plenty of sunbeds. Each pool accommodates different depths. Both pools have a bar next to them. In general, all staff we interacted with (housekeeping, concierge, security personal and front desk) were helpful and friendly. Around the corner from the hotel there are shops, restaurants / fast food chains, and a few sights, which was very useful. Bad: our room wasn’t set up when we arrived (late evening), and once set up the layout was awkward, so we had to rearrange the room ourselves at 10pm. The room itself was on the small side, and could use a refresh (showing a bit of wear and tear). One of the two restaurants was average at best. One bar had ran out of beer which was included in the Happy Hour, and didn’t replace it with another. I would have expected better from a 5 star hotel. Overall: good if you want to be on the beach / that particular area, but I wouldn’t go in thinking this was a grand 5 star hotel / experience. 3 star hotel in my opinion.

Overall very nice, room clean, everything working fine. Breakfast buffet so so (medium good). Swimming pool clean but not very big nor deep. Car park no space for hotel guests if you drive out to dinner & later come back after 8pm.

Very Very Welcoming environment. Front staff are very attentive. workers everywhere greet you with smile. Love the Italian restaurant, quite and helpful staff for the dish that’s not on their menu. Beach is clean and nice, but smokers just dump their leftover cigarettes which is very frustrating. Nearby a lot restaurants and cafes. The best hotel in Kuantan for family vacation and dates.

This resort is amazing! We were here to celebrate Valentines day. It was very windy , truly enjoyed the breeze. Rooms are clean , staffs are friendly and helpful. There are few types of pool. Some good shops and restaurants nearby (McD , Starbucks , Subway) Had a great family time! My daughter even made some new friends.. Thank You to the resort team for making our stay a memorable one ♥️ There is only a little feedback from my family that the food taste could be improved. Overall we love this place!

Its a really nice hotel, smack on a nice stretch of beach. The hotel has 3 nice pools too so the crowds are spread out even during peak periods. Theres also a while bunch of restaurants and cafes within walking distance so you really get everything you need for a vacation right here..
