What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Come with my mom on weekday, both of us have a good time here. Food above average, whole cafe full with coffee smell, which is relax and comfortable experience. Recommend their french toast, yummy 😋

  2. Saigon stacks sandwich 🥪 is highly recommended if you are looking for something different from any other sandwiches you ever had. We ordered Turkey Style Egg too. Is usually pack here. But pretty easy to get a seat. They have holding area at the entrance….could be a smoking area too I guess since is alfresco…..

  3. Popular place among the locals and tourists. We arrived at 830am when the cafe just opened, and there were about 2 people before us. Then the customers started to come in slowly. It goes to show that this place serves good food, and it does. The coffee was good. Aroma and body were just nice, light roast with very pleasant aroma. We order cheese and ham croissant, and the croissant texture was very good. Parking is a challenge, but still, highly recommended.

  4. Great place for brunch in KL. The vibe is chill and the environment only adds to this feel. The staff are friendly, the aesthetic very hip yet welcoming too all. The above mentioned just adds to the food. The food is delicious, with good portions, served in a timely manner. The French toast with coffee ice cream is amazing, avocado toast is filling a tasty, the desserts are delightful, this place is a must stop!!

  5. Amazing breakfast and incredible coffee! The employees are really nice too. The egg dishes and the avocado toast are amazing! A little pricey but definitely worth it. Top floor has a really nice view and vibes as well

i would say that its more like you are paying for the ambiance more than the food 😅 the food was quite underwhelming. went there with a group of friends and most of them were disappointed with the taste of the food. some were to dry, or lack of flavour. the ambiance is really nice tho, the decor and everything, is great. will i revisit again? ans: most probably not, their cake is pretty good tho. 👌🏻

First time coming back here after rhe mco lifted. The decor is still stunning as usual. This time, ordering is via QR. Service was indeed fast. We came during weekday lunch. Packed as usual. This time we ordered Smoked Salmon Bennedict, Scramble Egg Croissant, n Rosemary Chicken. The Croissant and the Rosemary Chicken were nice. Fave here gotta be the Smoked Salmon Bennedict. Have had their pasta before and it was delicious. I ordered their Hot Matcha Latte as well. Loved this ❤️ Didn’t order any desserts or cakes though. We were full.

Food and the ambiance was great, especially the pavlova, would definitely come back for it. Price wise is normal for this kind of place. The only cons was that we were given a small table for three people and our food barely fit. It was understandable considering the line, we wait for around 15 minutes to get a table.

Food is just okay. Don’t order the brownie though – too dry. Ambience is nice. Price is the standard pricey price of KL cafes. Expect queues during weekends and public hols. Tables are quite limited. What I find a bit irritating is the wait staff seemingly only care about filling in the cafe without paying much attention on the Covid dining SOP – how could a small table fit 3 pax? Had to insist on getting a bigger table.

Huge portions and really great Eggs Benedict! The sauce wasn’t overly salty and the eggs were just right. Tater tots could do a little more pepper or truffle oil though! Mushrooms were flavourful and the croissant with scrambled eggs is crispy and huge. Coffee tastes great, ordered the down under coffee and it was creamy down to the last drip! Vibe was great too with sun shining into the glasshouse makin it perfect for pictures.

This place is unexpected, simply because I assumed it was made for tourists, but after coming here 4 times, I’ve realised that the quality of the food is simply beyond my expectations. I have to say, they really do a great job in maintaining the original taste for most of their food, and the price too, is very reasonable. I’ve tried several different dishes here, and they all never failed to impress me. Kudos, to the owner/s for creating a nostalgic place and keeping the real taste alive. I guess many will not understand how good food used to taste 30 to 40 years ago, and now it is revived here. Recommended, but avoid peak hours as it gets really crowded. Nice overall ambiance and also for photography.

The food and coffee here are good, especially the coffee, which is full of smell, and it is highly recommended to taste his coffee. It was very crowded during the Chinese New Year period, but seats were quickly available. Someone on the Internet can share it through an appointment, and I will try it next time. I really like the layout of this store, the atmosphere is enough, and it is also very suitable for taking pictures. Will come again next time!

Taste – 5/5 excellent Environment – 5/5 excellent Staff friendliness – 5/5 excellent Price – affordable and value for money It’s a great place to enjoy local delicacy from Malaysia. The place is greatly decorated as the coffee shop from last decades. All the foods I had during this visit was excellent and taste delicious! The kaya itself is so nice and you can even buy some and take home if you wish. If you plan to go on the weekend , I suppose you can expect huge crowd there. Parking is available just beside the coffee shop. Recommended to try it out for sure.

This is my go to lunch place if I want to have a good chat over friends or colleagues. I would say not all items on the menu are nice. But if you ever ordered those popular items, prepare to wait but the taste is not bad. Drinks wise, i like the cham. It’s thick and fragrant. Only down side that it is a cafe after all and prices are not cheap. If you prefer quiet seating, can sit upstairs. Otherwise, the garden theme ambiance downstairs is also a good environment to talk and laugh and eat with good company.
