What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Visited this place a while ago, and it was an absolute gem. It’s located inside a store, so you need to actively look for it to find it, but it’s definitely worth it.

We ordered the smoked duck sandwich, and a chicken sandwich for our lunch. We were in a major hurry, and let them know that, and I suspect they did serve us a little faster than they would have otherwise. The food was spectacular. Soft bread, succulent duck, and the perfect condiments, especially the spicy mayo.

I’d chosen to go there particularly for their famous pancakes, so even on a time limit we had to have them. We ordered their pandang pancakes with ice cream, and they were absolutely perfect. Fluffy, and warm with a subtle pandang flavour that we loved. We had to basically stuff our faces with the pancakes as quickly as possible to not miss the next item on our itinerary, but I so wish I could have savoured them peacefully. Definitely ordering these again next time I’m in town.

  2. Famous cafe in the Jonker Street, usually long queue and you will need to be there early to book a seat with your name and come back after 30 minutes. The ambience is super nice and service is good. Food wise comes with a variety of choices and all looks delicious. Definitely will come back again on the next time when visiting Melaka.

  3. Well worth the wait! We went on warm afternoon and had to wait about 45 minutes or so b/c it was packed with folks. As soon as we were seated, things moved along pretty fast. The ambiance was quaint and aesthetically pleasing; the food was very good. Mushroom eggs were a bit on the salty side but french toast was amazing!

  4. Queued for nearly an hour to enter the cafe. Was quite winded by the time we got to the end. The cafe is beautiful and great for holiday photos.

Latte is very good and strong, milk is very fresh. Smoked duck sandwich was amazing and came with many vegetables. Espresso pancakes are a definite yes, an amazing mix of flavours (bitter espresso + savoury crispy pancakes + cool vanilla ice cream) which was intoxicating. Would return for the pancakes.

  5. This is my first time been here since I move to Melaka. The ambience is great. We need to wait for 30 minutes to get a table but the staff already inform us prior if we can wait for that.. very well organised and systematic.. and we get our food quite speedy once we got our table.. food taste 👍👍 only if you are bringing your old folks who normally not prefer to wait, other that that.. its a nice place to go..💕💕

Had some really yummy food here while visiting Melaka. The fried rose was spicy and full of flavour. Loved the chicken satay as well. And there was some really nice live music while we were there. Would recommend for sure.

We started our food exploration in Malaysia from this restaurant. First impression, Conquered. Amazing food. We had grilled chicken with rice and steak. Portion was more than enough. Price is economical. The live music is an extra bonus. We would recommend this place for anyone in KL

The atmosphere and the food are great and delicious The waiters are not so much attentive. I had to talk to 3 waiters to get my additional drinks. Toilet is cool. It has passcode to enter for the ladies. Sometimes there are live bands performing here. It is actually a nice place to hang out.

🌍 This cafe is located along Jonker Street. Therefore, you can expect there will be quite crowded 24/7. We went there around 3pm on Sunday for lunch. We waited outside to be seated with others customers but none of the workers guided us. We saw some people just walked in and occupied the empty tables therefore we secured our own table after waiting for around 10 minutes. The service here is a bit slow as we waited around 15 minutes to take our order. 🍍 I ordered the ALOHA chicken chop. Personally, I’m not a fan of it as it is on the sweeter side but the overall taste is not bad. The price is also reasonable for its generous portion size and sauce. The sauce has a rich pineapple taste and the chicken was nice and tender. I would recommend their grilled black pepper chicken chop if you prefer savory food. Their pineapple fried rice on the other hand, was bland. 🎶 The vibe here is perfect to chill after a long walk from the Jonker Street. The outdoor seats will be very humid so try to grab a seat inside the cafe. There will be live band performance which made the atmosphere of the cafe more cozy and lively.

Very nice little cafe on the side of a busy street. The cafe is well known by the fans of the “summer tea” movie a Hong Kong romcom from the 90s. But otherwise the food was delicious and the place had that vintage vibe to it.

Great little cafe off the main streets of the night market. Long queue to get a seat inside, but it is the corner on the front porch facing the road that is quaint and quiet. Facing the boy that is visually impaired with his wonderful keyboard playing, it is a nice way to quietly watch the crowd bustling around. The green tea coffee is highly recommended as they use real green tea powder for a stronger taste.

The Curry noodle tasted amazing, the coffee are nice but don’t represent those area. The environment very nice and good place for rest and drink. The staffs are friendly and prices acceptable.

The most talked about cafe in town and must visit. So with all the hype and commotion, well it didn’t disappoint as much. The aesthetics are good for your Insta-worthy moments as for the menu offering a mix Asian and Western delight. Visited on Friday morning but do expect queues on weekends and holidays.

Better wake up for early Brunch, be there by 11am cause they stop serving their Laksa by 11:30am. They got 13 types of coffee + Ice blended versions of the same + Mix types of coffee together. I got the Melaka Ice blended, guess I have to go there at least 25 more times for the rest non-mixed ones. Place is amazing for hangouts and had history like most places over here. Guess I’ll see one of you reading this there?

The Calanthe Laksa Soup is good, but the noodles and vegetables in it makes it anticlimactic. Would have been nice if its meatier. I ordered Coffee Melaka but the brewer added too much milk, making it not so great.
