You need to pick up your own food and pay. - Reviews:As an American visiting T town. I saw this place as I was driving by and after looking at the reviews it was pretty awesome. The service was really top notch because My sister ordered a carrot juice and it tasted nasty AF but she didn’t have the guts to tell the waiter but magically the waiter came over by himself and asked if she wanted to change her drink because he had tried some in the back and said it tasted sour. Never had that happen when I was in Malaysia and that type of service is why this place is amazing. I had the banana and pineapple pancakes. It’s more of a thin crepe than pancake but deep fried bananas on top was pretty amazing. Overall I’d recommend this place if you want good service, food and a great view of the water. It’s seat your self, wave down a waiter, and pay at the counter once you are finished eating. I could say this is the most delicious Nasi Dagang I’ve ever tried so far. I’ve been there around 6.50am and surprisingly more than 30 people already queuing up. They manage their crowd systematically with providing an umbrella for queuing customer, a canopy for family members while waiting their table. Such a good effort to take care of their customer.
Suggested by one of the local. We found the best Nasi Dagang we’ve ever taste and even better this is by far the greatest example of an dining experience if your restaurant goes viral.
Food ate: Nasi dagang ayam dan ikan, teh ais.
Pros:
1) Service is good and very welcoming.
2) The queue eventho it’s long but it’s quite fast.
3) they provided umbrella for you to use if you’re too hot while queueing or there’s a rain.
4) Very spacious and there’s guaranteed table for you when you done buying your food since they assigned a table for you.
5) Very good UX implemented on the dining in process, from the queuing to eating at the table.
6) spacious parking provided.
7) elderly or family have a dedicated waiting station.
8) the food is delicious.
9) affordable price
Cons:
1) For some people, the rice portion might be little. Might want to consider ordering extra rice if you’re a big eater.
2) No dedicated toilet. Toilet is shared with the neighbour surau (praying house).
3) There’s no actual toll there 🙁
Overall had a very very good experience and really enjoyed my time there. Every successful/viral restaurant should follow their style imo.

This place needs no introduction. It’s very popular. The owner has organized the logistics very well. There’s a waiting area when there’s a big crowd. A table is assigned to you upon your order. You pick up your food immediately after your order. The nasi dagang taste delicious. The price is affordable. The seating is spacious. Worth the drive out of the city.
Very very long queue. Waited for an hour. Pls come early in the morning after subuh. The nasi dagang portion quite small so for guys i think it’s better to order two plate per person. But delicious. The teh tarik also nice
This restaurant is famous for their Nasi Dagang, but they also have other options like Nasi Minyak. However, most customers come for the Nasi Dagang which is very delicious and has rich and creamy rice.
The prices are affordable and provide great value for the quality of the food. The payment system is easy and results in a faster payment process than other restaurants.
They also have ample parking and dining area.
It’s definitely worth all the positive feedback it has received and I will surely be coming back.
