First of all, I love Best Buy. Usually. I hate giving poor reviews and I hope there is an easy explanation for what this store has to offer. This visit comes after doing most of my electronics and tech shopping online for three months, and I needed to see the products first hand. I went to get a professional microphone, a Canon or Nikon DSLR video camera, Micro SD cards, printer paper, Carrying cases and batteries. What I mostly found were empty shelves. Very disheartening, I was prepared to spend a pretty big chunk of change on the camera and accessories. I was able to get a decent Tripod, printer paper, and their last 128G micro SD card. Hopefully the empty shelves is a sign that their cameras, and streaming products are flying off the shelves and they can’t keep the store stocked, but I have a feeling that’s not the case here. Hopefully things will turn around for this store.By SullenVex (9 months ago)A few of the people were helpful. Others just walked past us or in front of us, while we were checking out TV’s. Very rude. Unfortunately they didn’t have the one thing I needed that I came for. It is unfortunate, because I know that a smaller form factor electronics store that used to be in the local mall would have carried it. They unfortunately went out of business. I know I could buy it online, but I wanted and needed the item today. The staff was friendly and told me where in the store the item would be if they had it. They of course did not. I needed a 3.5mm Stereo Female to Dual RCA Male, for my USB sound card on my desktop PC.By Maxwell Malone (Wellitis) (2 years ago)Good prices. But, I recently purchased a laptop from them. I told the salesperson that I had Microsoft 365 at home. They pushed me to buy Microsoft 365 for the new laptop, but when I got home I found out that the subscription is by user, not by device. So, I spent $79 on something I did not need, and am having to go through the refund process. Salespeople either need to be more familiar with the product/ peripherals, and not push them if they are not needed.By James Navetta (3 months ago)I have AppleCare and Apple told me I can go to an authorized repair facility to fix my phone when I went to the website to make an appointment it said Best Buy was one of those repair facilities so I made the appointment on my only off day when I got there, the gentleman told me that they would have my phone for weeks trying to repair it and then I needed to go to the Apple Store. I thought it was weird because iPhones are so common and a broken glass on one should be fairly simple to them. But he said he simply couldn’t do it and I need to go to the Apple store so I did just that I went to the Apple Store and they told me that that was weird that the other despise fix them for them all the time. It’s very frustrating because I think the guy was just lazy and didn’t want to fix my phone. If you’re an authorized retailer for Apple, the primary thing I would think you could fix is the phone and it wasn’t a parts issue because my phone works just fine. I told him if he had to order parts he most definitely could and I’ll bring my phone back when the parts came in but he still refused. The store has a slightly strange layout logically. It is probably set up so that they are most likely to sell items, but sometimes I find it strange how segmented similar departments are. I don’t mean to say just bad things though. Every time I’ve been here, I have been helped by nice workers and can’t really complain about the customer service so far. A very well maintained store that usually has everything I need. Staff here are great and the store is always clean. However, my wife and I did notice a very interesting price discrepancy that seemed to have been in error, but we did find it a bit funny. Everyone needs a good laugh now and then. Overall, a great store.
I did curbside with my order. The box of my product was open/torn (see picture). I didn’t realize it until I got home. The associate was nice so I’m giving the rating a 2 instead of 1.
Installed a radio in my Jeep. Great service going back to have a camera installed.
Update: The back up camera was installed. Huge Thanks to Nick and Brad at Best Buy!
Worst best buy I’ve ever been to. No associates knew where anything was. Some actually said find someone else to help you. Their check out lines was closed and making everyone checkout at customer service and dtand in line with others returning products.
No wonder everyone goes to Amazon now.
About product service: Took a child’s laptop to Best Buy for repair, purchased there 10 months ago. We were told we would get it back in 30 (Thirty) Months! Yes, 2.5 YEARS!
