  1. Went in the Holyoke Best Buy on Dec. 29 2022 for a phone charger. Didn’t have my best card, so I used my I.D. big mistake on my end. Someone there took my information and changed my account and tried to make a $550 purchase at another best by 2 days later. Don’t use your ID or debit card at this location

  2. I was waiting 35 days for my remote start installation, one day before They call me and re-schedule my appointment for 45 more days. The worst service that I see, not quality.

  3. Terrible experience.
    No customer service at all. I had to wait 2 minutes for this girl to finish her conversation that was not work related. I’m also inquiring about headphones and she gave me absolutely no service.

    Was gonna pay for something that was 200 bucks. But since I wasn’t allowed to look at it before buying it, mind you the box had a nice size hole in it, so instead I just settled for a 30 dollar headset.

    Some people just shouldn’t work customer service jobs

  4. Brought my laptop in for charging issues. Over a month later and I’m still waiting for repairs to be made. I already knew what the problem was, and only brought it in because I spent money on the insurance. They’ve wasted both my money and time. There has been very little communication, and at this point I can’t see myself doing business with Best Buy ever again. I might be more understanding if communication was better, but I only received 1 email after the first week. I’ve had to call for updates that were less than helpful. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time by having your electronics repaired somewhere with competent staff.

  5. Called to make an appointment and was accepted. Walked into the store and was told they couldn’t do anything for me.

    What’s the point of the Geek Squad and paying for protection on your products if they can’t do anything?!

    DO NOT go to Best Buy. There are other outlets that will help you and not turn you away.

    Best Buy is still going strong and this store is MUCH BETTER than the Dedham, MA one which is mainly a BACK ROOM now and has little to see in store. I have to say their OPEN BOX items are TOTALLY WORTH CHECKING OUT! South Bay Mall does have a lot of junkies roaming around since South Hampton street leads down to the clinic so be careful where you park in this mall and DON’T LEAVE anything worth stealing in plain sight locked up in your car.

    Typical best buy experience, youthful employees that knows enough tech to help you out and for those who don’t would actually sit there and he’ll research with you. Was looking at laptops with my friend and was assisted by a gentleman who took his time to assist us and made sure we got the best bang for out bucks.

    I went to the best buy Dorchester to buy a microwave oven. There were several items on the shelves that have been discontinued, however they haven’t been removed from the display shelves. You can certainly find a better price for the same products on Amazon.

    this Best buy is so organized and the person that helped me, “Liliana’, truly deserves a promotion and definitely a wage increase as she was a great help- because I needed a replacement right away of my Chromebook, it was ruined, but she showed me a laptop for the same price and I always wanted a laptop but they were too expensive! the reason I did not give this 5 stars is because they did not have many devices in stock, is they need to. I love how they put customers in a queue in the computer and it sends you to the spot that you need to go and the salesperson meet you there! I took many photographs because I was so impressed I want to show all of you and the best part is there is a lot of room in all of the areas of the store as well as the entrance so people with mobility issues can easily go in and out of the store, and the salesperson would push you in a wheelchair or help you.
    the only thing I have to say besides items not being in stock … AND LASERS NOT HAVE ME IN THE COMPUTER SO IF I WAS GOING TO USE INSURANCE HAD I PURCHASED IT, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME. LILIANA TRIED SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS TO PULL UP MY ACCOUNT. BUT I WASN’T THERE AND I BOUGHT MY CHROMEBOOK THERE, AS WELL AS OTHER ITEMS OVER THE PAST COUPLE YEARS.
    keep up the good work as the salespeople are the people that compliment your company and I probably wouldn’t have purchased anyting but lilliana truly didn’t push me but rather showed me the items I could afford.

    Only ended up at this location because it was only one that had what I wanted in stock. I live 45 min away but work 10 min away… little did I know there was such a spacious and nice Best Buy right around the corner. Will definitely be returning as they had far more display models than typical Best Buy or other box stores. Much easier to browse than other stores I’ve been to lately.

    I love Best Buy and I have been a frequent customer faithfully since the early 2000’s and I am dedicated and even sometimes visit just to browse. This review and for this store but mostly for the exemplary service I received from the Geek Squad crew that came out from this store to install my TV and set it up. Not only were these guys the most professional and above and beyond technicians I have ever seen, they not only white glove delivered this 77 inch Sony OLED, they hung it in the way I requested, used an even better mount saving me money on the mount I bought, and tuned and set the TV up to specifications and taught me a few things along the way. This was probably one of the better Best Buy experiences I have seen and the new Total Tech program seems to be working and is worth every penny. What an excellent experience.

    As for the store, this is my go to store for not only the size of the store, but the constant inventory this store has of all sorts of electronics and appliances. Plus its a well laid out store, their are plenty of staff to answer questions and the service is always excellent. Good job Best Buy and I am glad I am still a customer.

    3 star review solely for the fact that their parking lot is a disaster. Getting in and out of there even during a slightly busier time, you will be waiting an hour to get. Aside from that, they were super fast to bring out my curbside order. It took way less time to get my order than it did to get in, park in a spot, and get out of the parking spot and lot. My advice, going during weird hours or off season times, and you will be fine.

    The staff at this specific best buy are absolutely great! I was having issues with my laptop and within 5 minutes they were able to figure out what was going on. More than pleased with the service and I will always come back for any of my electronic needs!

    BEST BUY HAS DONE IT AGAIN! Second serious problem in two months. Bought a dvd online from Best Buy. We have Geek Squad coverage that pays for installation. When we received DVD we called local store and we’re advised that online purchases were not eligible for coverage. Advised by ZACK that we had to return DVD and repurchase in the store. We did this and item was installed. Best Buy bill charges for two DVDs – no credit for return. Spoke at length with Best Buy who advised that we would receive credit but might take 30-60 days. Now receiving calls from credit card for payment. Likely we will cancel this account. Their products and installations are good but billing is atrocious!

    I purchased a new automatic car starter on sale at best buy and had it installed here. To my surprise the young gentleman that greeted me at the door was so thorough and knowledgeable ..he explained everything that would be done..checked out the car and then told me it would take about 3 hours to complete the job. I had some shopping to do so I went into rhe store, browsed around for a bit then sat in the area with sofas and televisions. I was there for about 20 minutes and they texted me that my car was done..in less than 2 hours! The car worked perfectly, the young man explained if I had questions or concerns to just call them. Would definitely never hesitate to have technical equipment installed in my car again!
