How to Find an Airbnb Near You That’s Perfect for Your Needs
There are many ways to find an Airbnb near you in US cities. Here are a few of the best ways:
- Use the Airbnb website or app. This is the most obvious way to find an Airbnb, and it’s also the easiest. Simply enter your desired location and dates, and you’ll be presented with a list of available Airbnbs. You can filter the results by price, number of bedrooms, amenities, and other factors.
- Use a third-party website or app. There are a number of third-party websites and apps that list Airbnbs. These websites can be a good way to find Airbnbs that aren’t listed on the Airbnb website, or to compare prices from different sources. Some popular third-party websites and apps include:
- VRBO: Vacation Rental By Owner
- HomeAway: HomeAway
- Booking.com: Booking.com
- Expedia: Expedia
- Ask your friends or family. If you know someone who has stayed in an Airbnb, they may be able to recommend a good one for you. They may also be able to give you some insider tips on how to get the best deal.
- Search social media. There are a number of social media groups and forums where people post about their Airbnb experiences. These can be a good way to get honest feedback from other travelers.
- Attend a local travel fair. Many cities host travel fairs where you can meet with Airbnb hosts and learn more about their properties. This can be a great way to find an Airbnb that’s perfect for your needs.
Once you’ve found a few Airbnbs that you’re interested in, be sure to read the reviews carefully. This will give you a good idea of what other guests have experienced. You should also contact the host with any questions you have.
Here are some additional tips for finding an Airbnb near you in US cities:
- Be flexible with your dates. If you’re flexible with your travel dates, you’ll be more likely to find a good deal on an Airbnb.
- Book well in advance. The best Airbnbs tend to book up quickly, so it’s important to book well in advance.
- Consider the location. The location of the Airbnb is important, especially if you’re traveling for business or a special event. Be sure to choose an Airbnb that’s close to the things you want to see and do.
- Be aware of the cancellation policy. Each Airbnb has its own cancellation policy, so be sure to read it carefully before you book.

a month agoI was pleasantly surprised by this hotel sized fridge and a 2 burner stove. No pots or pans or silverware :(. But I wasn’t going for the surprise kitchen. This is all set in a clean, comfortable room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I slept surprisingly well for my 2 nights in this room. I would stay again.2 months agoI stayed in My Place on the 30th May for a one night stay. In fact that was my revisit and I felt like going home. My first visit was last summer and I was with my family and a dog. We stayed in for one week and enjoyed the experience so much because of the peaceful environment, the clear room and last but not the least, the warmest hospitality management. I remember I didn’t have a very good sleep on the first night because we got a room close to the public area. So I asked for help at the front desk and that friendly lady offered a much quieter room for us immediately. One year later, I didn’t remember her and asked for a quiet room again when we checked in. I was so surprised that she could still remember me. She was still friendly and helpful like the first time I met her. I am so sorry that I still don’t know her name but because of her, we for sure will go back to My Place every year when we plan for our summer vacation.5 months ago*Place is really clean . *Smells great *No free breakfast *Medium kitchen ;no utensils ,pots or dishes ?! ## Bed soft but apparently on spring base ,squeaks even at the slightest turn and i heard other neighboring beds aswell through the night. * dead bolt does not engage on my door . *pet friendly * tight squeeze parking lot set up, not RV friendly Overall my night stay was too uncomfortable to return . I’ll pay more to go elsewhere. Bed was the takeaway. If I’m tired and can’t sleep , waking up every time I turn or neighboring room moving on their bed . That’s bad. It’s a nice hotel . Hope they fix all that2 months agoI was told there was no rooms available when i tried to extend my stay however there were plenty available when I looked online. Also there’s only breakfast when you pay $8 per person so really breakfast shouldn’t be listed as something available when it’s only available if you want to pay even more for something that most hotels offer for free. They offer complementary watered down coffee. Free howevera month agoIt’s a great spot, right along the Yakima greenway and the river. We like to stay there and rollerblade along the river toward naches. The trail goes for about twenty miles! There’s also a nice little park across the parking lot from the hotel. The hotel rooms were clean, there was a stove, a nice bath, and the people were friendly.

4 years agoAmazing cat outside inn. Karen and Henner are very sweet. The breakfasts we’ve had were awesome. Will be going as long as the place is in this management, and I keep getting called to the area. Great advice for Yakima activities! They know the area and are always willing to provide a good location or activity! Would recommend.3 years agoHenner and Karen were amazing! We were on a work trip and they provided us with a clean and safe place to stay during COVID. Henner made us brats with homemade sour kraut one evening that was out of this world. Wonderful people, great little place, beautiful views.4 years agoWe didn’t spend night just picked cherries. I love going here. They are so friendly and helpful. Cherries were wonderful as usual. Your dream room awaits in Yakima WA, USA, ready to welcome you with open doors. Happy house hunting!
This hotel would probably be okay for a one night stay, but 3 nights not so much.
Pros:
-Secure parking
-The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful will go out of their way for you. It is actually solely based on the staff that I’m giving 3 stars.
-The lobby is nice and has a nice seating area for you to visit with friends, family, etc who might also be lodging here. You also get one comp beverage ticket when you check in.
Cons:
-Upon arrival you park street side and walk around the corner to main doors to check in. There is one luggage cart next to a locked side door. So if you want to use it you have to figure out how to get the door to prop open or take the cart around to the main door. The person at the front desk graciously held the door open and waited for me to unload my luggage. Which was very nice of him to do. There are no carts in or near the parking garage so if you need to use one then you’re best off doing so while parked street side. Also if checking in during a busy time good luck finding street parking that is nearby.
-There is no elevator in the parking garage. Once parked you go inside and walk down a long hallway to the elevator. The garage seems fairly small, however, I didn’t have trouble finding a spot. Had the hotel been full I feel like finding parking could be an issue.
-Be prepared to pay for parking.
– No designed smoking area anywhere.
– Room Service menu is very limited as is the times of day you can get room service.
– Only one elevator. Stairwells do not connect either. Taking stairs from 3rd floor I had to exit the 2nd floor and follow signs until I found the next flight of stairs
– The room itself was drafty. It’s an old building with old windows that could use a replacement.
– I expected more from a Hilton Tapestry. Furniture in room was old and worn. Room was dark, even in daytime.
-Downtown Yakima also doesn’t appear to be the safest place after dark. Lots of questionable looking people lurking around at night. However, building does seem to be secure.
Lovely hotel but ask about windows!
This was a very nice hotel with a friendly staff. I just wanted to mention one quirky thing which I was surprised by. The king room I booked did not have proper windows to the outside – they were frosted over so that you could not see any of the sky or outdoors. I asked to change rooms and initially they told me I would have to pay to upgrade to a room with a window, but eventually were able to find a queen room that had (1) proper window. I was really surprised that a hotel as nice as this would sell rooms without proper windows, and then consider uncharging to change, so just make sure to ask when you book! Otherwise it was a nice clean property, and spacious rooms.
An absolutely beautiful and elegant hotel. European styling with a modern twist. Rooms are very spacious and quiet for a peaceful experience. The desk staff is phenomenal and treats everyone very pleasant. Breakfast offering is wonderful with charcuterie board, muesli, and pastry selections. Protein packed for a great start to the day.
A Pleasant Stay at Hotel Maison Yakima Tapestry Collection by Hilton
My party of four recently had an okay overnight stay at Hotel Maison Yakima Tapestry Collection by Hilton. While there were a few areas that could use improvement, overall, our experience was decent, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly service.
Starting with the positives, the rooms at Hotel Maison Yakima were satisfactory. They were clean and provided a comfortable space for us to rest during our stay. Although we didn’t find the rooms to be particularly luxurious, they met our basic needs and allowed us to have a good night’s sleep.
However, it was evident that the hotel itself could benefit from some renewal and renovation. Throughout our stay, we noticed a few areas that showed signs of wear and tear. While these didn’t significantly impact our comfort, it did give the hotel a slightly dated feel. An update to the facilities and decor would certainly enhance the overall experience for guests.
Regarding breakfast, we found it to be a bit underwhelming. The selection was limited, and the quality of the offerings left room for improvement. It would have been nice to have a more diverse and satisfying breakfast spread to start our day off on a higher note. Nevertheless, the staff managing the breakfast area were friendly and helpful.
Despite the areas that could be improved, the staff at Hotel Maison Yakima were friendly and accommodating. They were responsive to our requests and made an effort to ensure our needs were met. Their hospitality played a significant role in enhancing our overall impression of the hotel.
In conclusion, Hotel Maison Yakima Tapestry Collection by Hilton provided us with an okay stay overnight. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the hotel itself could benefit from renewal and renovation. While the breakfast was somewhat lacking, the friendly staff made up for it by providing attentive service. If you are looking for a decent and reasonably priced accommodation option in Yakima, Hotel Maison Yakima Tapestry Collection by Hilton might fit the bill. However, if you’re seeking a more modern and luxurious experience, you may want to consider other options in the area.
The hotel is amazing and very well done. Highly recommend!
However, downtown Yakima might has well been downtown Portland. Homelessness/drug use and empty buildings prevail. Beautiful hanging baskets line the streets, but the underbelly of our society is rampant here. What is the Mayor and city doing about this?
