What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. It was our first time going to Pulai Springs Resort for a church camp and we enjoyed our stay at the resort tremendously. The food was great and much variety and the portions were generous. The rooms were spacious and nice, though if I were to nitpick, it would be that they were a little rundown with some minor defects, but the service staff were very efficient in rectifying them. Special mention and commendation goes to Sabrina, who was very helpful in accommodating our requests and changes and to David, who helped to set up the seminar rooms for us and serving our teabreaks (again with generous portions). Thank you for the wonderful experience, we hope to enjoy similar high standards again the next time we visit!

  2. We had our wedding solemnisation and dinner reception here on December 2022. Overall we had a great experience, the place is located in a beautiful area which is away from the main city but not too far for our guests.

Special mention to Sabrina, who provided great support throughout the event and accommodated all our requests. Despite planning the wedding ourselves, we had a stress free event all thanks to the resort for helping us along the way.

  3. The place is quite beautiful, surrounded by nature but unfortunately there is a huge construction site next to it, so the view from the balcony is just horrible.. maybe the resort can start planting tall trees so that it the future guess can have a better view from the balcony, not some construction site or in the future some housing areas..
The room interior design looks elegant and very welcoming. However the place is huge so lack of maintenance. (Like the bathroom light is hanging out, the seat of the toilet was loose etc.). The room was very spacious though.

  4. Call for house keeping slightly after 10 as my kid vomitted. They sent a few staff up to redo the bed. Am very impressed with their service and i do tip them. The hotel cleanliness is so-so, the size is decent and its on the whole OK. There is a construction nearby which is annoying. If you book via their website directly, there’s additional discount.

  5. Book 4 days 3 night. 2 rooms. Bad service i ever had.

Everything from check-in is bad experience,
Receptionist inform to change one of our room to 2 bedrooms from one bedroom, still ok.
But another one bedroom is really far. Lift really bad, not function well.

After we arrive room after swimming, everyone was tired but we were informed by housekeeping that our room door no battery, with 3 kids, we need to wait again.

No sorry from staff, which I am not satisfied.

Another room in level were dirty, floor not cleaned. Dusk everywhere, toilet stink.

Please improve more, as we book for 4 days, and 2 rooms. We don’t think this service worth our money at all.

Great team to look after you on a lovely harbour setting. Rooms are clean and neat. Even comfortably able to fit a family of four in standard rooms. On their most busiest weekend, team still ensure they had a smile on their faces and served us well. Plenty of lively dinning options on the promenade facing the harbour. We will be back soon!

One of the beautiful hotel I have ever visited. A beautiful building that catches your eye as soon as you enter. This hotel was great in every way. The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable and the service was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

Rooms are big and clean. Housekeeping did a great job each day. The pool is not big but is a very nice place to relax and take a dip and enjoy the view. Buffet breakfast has a great spread with multiple live stations. Unfortunately no yoghurt or cheese in the spread. The Harbour area is quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay here!

Good hotel with comfortable rooms. The rooms were well maintained and the environment was good. The TV had many channels for everyone to watch what they wanted to watch. The breakfast had a wide variety of food which was decent. There were sufficient space for everyone during meal times. The amenities were fine and the overall building was well maintained.

This place always holds a special place in my heart. I proposed to my wife (then girlfriend) when we were here three (3) years ago. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and cooperative. The location is very strategic and easy to locate. Very clean and tidy room, great presentation and display as well. The surroundings are very calm and peaceful, definitely a good place to stay and relax. My wife and I still come here on occasion to enjoy its beauty. Easily one of the best hotels in Johor for sure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room is clean but a little small. Breakfast was very disappointed. Very limited choices. Coffee… I swear I’m not going to finish up and not going for a refill. My hubby is happy to go next door to MacD.

This is like the perfect hotel if u intend to do a full day shopping at Bkt indah Aeon, as it’s just right across the street. Parking is free too. There’s a McDonald’s beside and a BK cross the road as well, with a few other eateries that open till late just beside the Mcd. Some seems to be pretty popular. I only tried the XLL mala (much spicier than Sg standard) and the fish porridge (still eating as I type this). For those who enjoy a massage, there Abt 4 or 5 shops as well. One that open latest till 2am (iminent). I also noticed 3 other Lok lok for supper. Room wise, I can tell they have renovated it recently with nicer light brown woody deco and it looks clean. Shower room was ok too but the bedsheet can see Abit of old stain. Worst was the towel that smells really bad. I don’t think they are dirty but just some bleach or detergent that u won’t enjoy it. Service wise nothing to shout about… Their free bf was alright with nasi lemak, porridge and fried Mee among a few other simple dishes. Overall, this is more like a 6.25 kind of rating… But if it’s just for Aeon, then this is closer to an 8.

The location is very convenient, with shopping mall and petrol station very close to the hotel. The room is ok, the shower could have been a bit cleaner. A new shower head would have looked much better. Service is good, the staff is friendly and available to address your needs. What it has to be avoided is the breakfast. Apart from being very poor in terms of option, I’ve been sick with food poisoning for two days already.

Hotel upkeep needs to be improved. Stayed here many years back, revisited the place only to find that no improvements (and some additional degradation) have been made. You have some mold stained ceilings in the corridor and some amount of chipped corners and finishes in the room. The sheets are generally clean, though I do see marks and stains (not really something I care, but someone else might be awfully turned off by these).
