- Reviews:First try with family. We ordered 5 meals, 5 beverages, and 2 side dishes, total spend around RM 200 including SST and service charges. Food are delicious and drinks as well are tasty. All the food and drinks were served fast, we can get and enjoy all our food at the same time. Good environment and good service. All the food served in short while after placed orders even during peak hour. Strongly recommend this cafe for family or friends dine in.By Chee Yin H’ng (a year ago)This is our first time coming here. It was very crowded and noisy which made enjoying our meals difficult. The advantage and disadvantage of the menu are the same (too many choices to choose from). However, our dishes (mee mamak goreng and lemon chicken chop) taste amazing and it did not take too long to arrive. Service was a bit stressful to watch which is evident as you see a whole stretch of unwashed cups and dishes next to the counter. Also, no one came to our table after 4 service calls so we had to call a nearby waiter to take our order and thankfully he was friendly. Overall, I think the majority of food prices here are reasonable other than some of the desserts but to each their own. Only thing i would say is the menu had too much items on it😂😅 it took awhile to decide what to eat. Expect a queue if you go late. Available parking around the area. Unfortunately they don’t allow reservations so I had to split seating for 16 paxsBy addy ang (6 months ago)Lunch hour is a good choice if you wanted to dine in comfortably with lesser crowd. Easy vehicle parking as well. Interior design modern and tables layout neat and spacious. Always wanted to try this cafe food as all looks so instagramable, especially the blue pea flower related food & beverage items. Staff are friendly and approachable. Order chit was place on every table for customer to fill in but the friendly staff assist to take out order. For a first timer, I wanted to order something special for elderly to try. A nasi set, a western set, a dessert and a drink. Nasi Biru Ayam Masak Merah overall combination is ok. But we over estimated the blue rice, not really stand out from the dish on the taste and texture. Ayam Masak Merah is standard taste, spicy level okay. As for the chicken chop, we like their special home/house sauce “Empat Sekawan” to go with the fried chicken. Recommended to try this. We requested less sweet and less ice for the dessert and beverage to suit our level of sweetness and it taste good and better. Sui Chin Chin served with coconut milk are light in this way and less sinful. I find the northern light (coffee, milk and blue pea milk) special as the combination taste a bit smokey. This might goes well when serving it hot and best pair with some cakes or small pastries. It’s a family friendly place and all races friendly place as well. - Reviews:The cashier is friendly and attentive, give us her recommendation as we are first time coming to this outlet. The place quite cosy with simple decor. We ordered kakigori, dan taiyaki which both were delicious. The taiyaki served piping hot and we neutral it with the coldness and sweetness of the soft kakigori shaved ice. Parking quite challenging and parking tips, it is advisable to use Penang Smart Parking app to pay for your parking. Nice ambience. The food comes in quite big portion. The asean dishes taste like a fusion. Not really to my liking. For me the environment is good for family outing
Overall taste on food that we ordered was good. Price was reasonable. Ample parking space available. The owner perhaps might want to consider upgrading the existing toilet.
Went as a family with small kids for dinner. We ordered Smoked BBQ Burger, Fish & Chips and Grilled Chicken & Pasta. Food portion is very reasonable with the price that you pay. The burger size was much more worth it than those fast food joints. The Spicy Spaghetti Aglio Olio that comes with the grilled chicken was salty and very oily. The chicken was under season and the brown sauce that accompany is salty as well. The Fish & Chips was good and love that they added lime zest to the tartar sauce which was a nice twist. Service was good and there are ample of parking spaces. Price for the food is average. Will return to try their other cuisines and dishes.
No one welcomed us, so we just went to find a table and sat for few minutes and someone brought a single menu card for 2 people. Ordered fish n chips, chicken cheese n spaghetti along with chocolate hazelnut smoothie n pineapple crush. Food tasted okay except the smoothie, very cheap chocolate powdered drink with no traces of hazelnuts, so complained and returned the drink, the guy who dealt my issue was polite and he apologised for, replaced with a orange juice I asked for, anyway they didn’t give anything free as a compensation (if this happened in any London based restaurant where I come from then they would’ve given a free drink or a menu item 😤). So, they don’t deserve any more than 2 stars (1 for food taste and another 1 for that customer service guy who answered us)
Nice ambience. Unfortunately the food western & pasta was so salty cant eat. Black pepper source also salty. My kids comment the same.
Checf pls continue monitor & taste your good before serve to other. Dispointed and mybe no luck this time.
