- Reviews:I came to This maybank to deposit coins at 2 pm . I have taken my first ticket at 2 pm and waited for 30 minutes. Then I decided to ask the staff who seating in counter number 6 whether the coin deposit working or not and she said it’s working but the staff went to lunch break and ask me to to come at 3 pm . Again I come back at 3.15 and took another number waited for 45 minutes. I went to the front desk. She said the person in charge not at her place. I understand it’s a Monday atleast can set expectations to client rather I need to come twice and took the number waited for for long. I have no idea my why only my number is not moving and there is no respond for the staff who working. Hope the manager to look into this matter. As customer we wan to use your service but you guys don’t treat customer well. Very disappointing.By Theeban Raj (4 months ago)My experience here was 10x better than at kelana jaya branch. Waited my turn for 5 mins. Completed transaction at the counter within 5 mins. In and out under 10 mins! Over at kj branch waiting time is more than 1 hour!! Why can’t all branches have the same level of efficiency?By Ina M (3 months ago)I had to change my debit card and was taken care of by an officer named shyahirah at counter 14. She is one of the fastest, pleasant and efficient staff i have seen in maybank after being in the country for nearly 12 years. This officer deserves a promotion, pay rise and everything that an efficient and capable staff deserves. Hope the maybank managers are reading this review. When it is my turn, the officer told me that they need to transfer me to another counter and need to wait until the previous customer done the transaction. I’ve waited for an hour and now you telling me to go to another counter and wait again!!! What is wrong with you people. - Reviews:A foreign worker came by for banking purpose. He missed one number. He went to counter 13 and said sorry i missed my number can you attend me. The personnel said, go take anothwr number as you missed it. I approached him and said go again and insist to attend as this is not a major mistake. As customer service, customers are your top priority. Whether they are local or foreign workers. I gave 2 stars because at least their security guy was friendly and helpful, told me it will be a long wait as soon as I walked in. But the other staff at the front counter/ reception was often missing. There was already a long queue of people waiting to just make inquiries or to take a number. I was trying to apply for a business account and I had to speak to 3 persons before I got to the person in charge! The woman in charge, a Ms. Suga had no skills in providing clear instructions over the phone. I got so frustrated with her because she weren’t listening to what I needed to say about my business or when I was trying to tell her that I couldn’t understand her poor directions. She got offended because she insisted she was giving me the right steps and accused me of not listening!! She was giving it right back at me! I felt she was not giving me the right information because she was asking me to apply for a corporate business acct when I needed to apply for a SMI account. She was rude and unprofessional in how she dealt with me. I thought they are trained to deal with customers? She put me on hold TWICE for more than 5 minutes! Seriously!!!! Thank God I had the sense to hang up after the second time and got to someone else who was patient, could listen, communicate clearly and was willing to help me! They accepted softcopy of my payslip so i just email to the officer and she printed it out for me. Tips is to set appointment on Maybank page. My appointment was at 12.10pm so I arrived 10mins earlier to give time to fill up forms and such. I got attended on time, just took a bit longer to move to next process coz customers before me got issue to register MAE. Overall experience was okay. They open at 930 am since Jan 2021 effective, but the actual time is not updated on the yellow board, but one A4 piece of paper stuck on the wall only. The actual business hour should be updated on the yellow board!
Location wise, it’s at the corner of the Giza mall, right opposite of the warakuya Japanese restaurant!
The staff inside the bank is very friendly and helpful, that is what matters to me at the end,
even though i was unexpectedly waiting too long to enter that morning.
It is a great place for patience training.
Open an new savings account means that I’m a new customer, but seems like Maybank don’t take it as a matters. Wait for around 2hrs and don’t have any process, still not my turn.(Well, you just wait and wait and wait….and just have to wait 2 pax before me😮💨)
Hands down, one of the worst Maybank ever. The staff works slow as hell and they are not efficient at all. When asked, they would only say tunggu saja, byk orang. Horrible horrible. Please look into your staff management and how to improve on your efficiency. And the reception lady was not the nicest as well. Rude as hell.
The Malay female staff at the counter was ridiculous. She rejected our request to create a maybank account.
Reasons: you are not live nearby this area. So you cannot apply, later got any issues you will comeback here and trouble us)
Don’t ever come to this place if you don’t want to ruin your day. Worst bank experience ever. I don’t know if the staffs are well trained or not because they slow af. One can’t even understand what I’m saying when I asked about a service that M2U provided. Of course if you got no choice have to come here, pls bare with it and prepare for a bad experience.
