a month agoAs always Macy’s provides a great experience. The escalators worked which is always iffy but they worked so happy about that. The sales were strong this weekend with huge discounts. Found my favorite departments easily and everything was in order and arranged properly. Highly respect this store and this location is one of the best.3 months agoHere You will enjoy shopping. Well spread on three floors. All new fashionable dresses, handbags, perfumes, dress accessories are well displayed, brand wise, gender wise. Discounted sales too2 months agoThe workers need to be nicer to everyone. Lady at the cologne counter didn’t seem interested in helping me, and then the asian lady at the shiseido counter saw us when she was at her register then sat down and started scrolling on her phone. I will say though, Danny who attended us downstairs in the men’s section by the red garage was extremely courteous and communicative. 10/10 for him.2 months agoThe lady who is working in the watches right now refused to move a watch link on the watch I just bought from them. I told her it was uneven and I would like the clasp to be in the center. If you count the links, one side has 4 and one side has 6. She argued me every step of the way about how what I wanted didn’t matter because it was going to be uneven either way. I’m not sure how when if we moved one over it would be 5 and 5? Then she had the audacity to tell me, “You shouldn’t even be looking at the back of your watch, you look at a watch to tell time.” Like literally word for word said that. To make matters worse she told me she would add a link because it looked too tight, which it isn’t, but still would not move one for me. It honestly takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but I have not had such bad customer service in awhile. Definitely will not be going back to this Macy’s.11 months agoLocated in the heart of the Galleria, this location truly enhances the Houston Landmark’s long-standing reputation of excellence! They always have a good selection of what I’m looking. Nothing beats actually touching and trying on what you’re buying before you make the purchase. I usually go straight to the clearance racks to find what I need. The sales staffers that attended to us were courteous, supportive, and helpful. Macy’s continues to offer superb customer’s service to its customers. They have a department on the lower floor known as ‘Last Act” where prices are marked down to a reasonable cost. They also have a large collection of fragrances that are available to try. If looking for perfumes or colognes there are many bundles making it perhaps the best option in all of the galleria! The store itself is kept very tidy and in order! There’s never a dull moment walking into this location!

in the last weekChance at the MAC counter was very nice and his makeup looked nice. However once my friend wanted to check out her NC 42 powder foundation. He stated I could wear her same shade even though I am a brown darker skinned woman and she is a fair medium black woman. It made me uncomfortable that he would suggest and almost argue to me why I should wear the incorrect shade instead of shade matching me to see what would be my match. I will not be back, it’s disheartening to come to a store for help and expertise to get told something like that, I hope he gets further training on doing OTHER peoples makeup.a month agoI have been working with Marina to help me find more professional that is comfortable. She showed me styles that I love, but I NEVER would have picked them out on my own. She is a shining example of an of an employee and I’m so glad we had the chance to talk.The management did a great job hiring Marina.
7 months agoI found my experience here to be quite depressing. I know department stores are far from the glory they once had when I was a child, but this was awful. I went in to look for pillows and honestly there was more merchandise on the floor than stored on their shelves. There were so many pillows and comforters on the floor it was nearly hazardous to trip over. The entire upstairs was a jungle. The escalators are out of order which made the trip up and back down even worse. The carpet looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in years. And even if I had wanted to purchase something, there were no employees in sight. I don’t think I’ll be shopping in person here any time soon. It’s a better experience even at Ross. Very sad what’s happened to what was once a nice store. If you can’t give a good shopping experience to customers it’s best to close the doors.in the last weekBought a suit on line on sale didn’t fit right, but the return was soo easy and hassle free. Macys has some great suits and what a selection at willowbrook mall buy my next suit there next time! Great help also!3 months agoYou can actually get some great bargains during the right promotional sales period. It’s a large yet a pleasant enough department store. But the checkout experience was less than ideal at the menswear section due to a limited number of store staff trying to handle a long queue of customers wanting to checkout.

Went there looking for a tux for my upcoming birthday party. Now I’m not a very particular guy, all I’m trying to get was a white tux in size 46R. Now after all I saw, from bedding to clothes, to make up to shoes, they had it all, I finally saw a white tux, but behold….they didn’t have my size. Why are the Tux gods against me?? What have I done to anger them? Anyway, Macy was pretty clean, they had a few assistant workers ready to help, which was good. So alas, I search on for the elusive tux in size 46R. Till next time 😫

Macy’s has always been one of my go-to destinations for shopping, but the Macy’s at the Memorial location has truly become one of my absolute favorite places to indulge in retail therapy. The jewelry department at this Macy’s is a hidden gem in itself.
Two individuals with the jewelry, in particular, deserve special recognition: Miss Fozia and Miss Anna. These wonderful ladies have consistently gone above and beyond to assist me in finding exactly what I’m looking for. Their knowledge, expertise, and genuine passion for their work are evident in every interaction.
The assistance provided by Miss Fozia and Miss Anna Bagos goes far beyond their professional duties. They have an innate ability to understand my preferences and offer valuable recommendations that align perfectly with my style. Their warm and friendly demeanor instantly puts me at ease, creating a shopping experience that feels personalized and enjoyable. I truly appreciate their dedication and the time they invest in ensuring my satisfaction. It’s not every day that you come across individuals like Miss Fozia and Miss Anna.
I highly recommend visiting this Macy’s and seeking out the expertise of those wonderful ladies. They truly make all the difference.

I rate the store 4 stars because some other locations have more product choices than this location.
My go-to department store for higher quality clothing choices. Nicely dressed employees of all ages. Whole mall venues are struggling to keep customers, this one is not. Memorial City is packed all of the time. Keep up the good work!
