It all started with a reference by a close family friend of ours who had used Bola’s legal services for his family “ they currently reside in London Toronto “. We were stuck in the middle of admission process and that’s when we contacted Bola on ref as mentioned above. From day one, Bola’s advise and pathway forward till we got the visa approval was based on high professionalism, she was available at all times, guided us through each and every step, documents review in line with Canada’s requirements which she’s so versed with of course through the many years of experience.

Long story short We achieved our endeavors and all through Madame Bola was supportive and kept positive attitude until the end.

    Thank you Madame

Deane is so great and so is Tara! We’ve dealt with them several times and it’s always wonderful! We moved away from the area but still use their services because they’re so lovely to deal with. They’re worth the drive to Orillia! Very thorough and pleasant.

Deane is fantastic to work with. His attention to detail and thoroughness are outstanding. Not only did he make himself available for all calls and emails to address questions we had leading up to closing, he met us on a weekend to sign documents in order to work around our schedule. In person, Deane takes the time to go through all documention and is happy to answer any questions before signing. Most helpful and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Knowledge, experience and trust are the three most important things my wife and I look for in any professional. Deane has all three of these in spades.

My wife and I have used his real estate services three times now (for 2 house purchases and 1 house sale) and cannot say enough how impressed and pleased we have been with his attention to detail. At lot is going on while moving house and it is always comforting to know that with Deane handling the real estate part, we don’t need to worry about the legal side of things.

As long as Deane continue to practice real estate law, he will be handling ALL our real estate closing needs.

If you want a lawyer who is dishonest and has no integrity or honour, then he is your man! He sends out erroneous bills and when you point out his errors he lies and plugs them. Check with the Law Society first before you engage him…complaints have been filed but he is slippery.

According to the 2021 Canadian census, immigrants in Canada number 8.3 million persons and make up approximately 23 percent of Canada's total population. This represents the eighth-largest immigrant population in the world, while the proportion represents one of the highest ratios for industrialized Western countries.Following Canada's confederation in 1867, immigration played an integral role in helping develop vast tracts of land. During this era, the Canadian Government would sponsor information campaigns and recruiters to encourage settlement in rural areas; however, this would primarily be only towards those of European and religious Christian backgrounds, while others—particularly Hindus, Buddhist, Shinto, Sikh, Muslim, and Jewish immigrants—as well as the poor, ill, and disabled, would be less than welcome. Following 1947, in the post-World War II period, Canadian domestic immigration law and policy went through significant changes, most notably with the Immigration Act, 1976, and the current Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) from 2002.The main drivers of population growth are immigration, driven mainly by economic policy and also family reunification. A record number of 405,000 immigrants were admitted to Canada in 2021, with plans to increase the annual intake of immigrants to 500,000 per year. New immigrants settle mostly in major urban areas in the country, such as Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Canada also accepts large numbers of refugees, accounting for over 10 percent of annual global refugee resettlements; it resettled more than 28,000 in 2018 and has spent $769 million in 2023 alone for free housing and meals.

The Biggest Immigration Lawyer in Canada

Orillia, a city in Ontario, has several reputable immigration lawyers who can assist individuals with their immigration needs. However, if you are looking for alternative options or want to explore different avenues, here are three top alternatives that are popular in Orillia:

  • Legal Aid Ontario: Legal Aid Ontario is a non-profit organization funded by the provincial government. They provide free legal services to individuals who meet their financial eligibility criteria. While they do not exclusively focus on immigration matters, they may be able to provide assistance or refer you to a lawyer who specializes in immigration law. This can be a great option for individuals who cannot afford a private immigration lawyer.
  • Community Legal Clinics: Community Legal Clinics are independent non-profit organizations that offer legal services to low-income individuals and communities. They often have staff lawyers who can provide legal advice and representation in various areas, including immigration law. These clinics may also offer educational workshops, community outreach programs, and legal information sessions. Some popular community legal clinics in Orillia include the Simcoe Community Legal Clinic and the Community Legal Clinic – Simcoe, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes.
  • Pro Bono Lawyers: Pro bono lawyers are private lawyers who provide free or reduced-cost legal services to individuals in need. While pro bono services may not be as widely available as legal aid or community legal clinics, there are lawyers who are willing to take on pro bono immigration cases. Contacting local law firms or legal organizations to inquire about pro bono services can be worth exploring. Additionally, the Law Society of Ontario has a Pro Bono Law Ontario program that connects individuals in need with volunteer lawyers.

Remember, when seeking legal assistance, it is essential to evaluate the qualifications, experience, and reputation of the lawyer or organization you choose. Additionally, specific requirements and availability of services may vary, so it is advisable to directly contact the respective alternatives mentioned above for detailed information.
