Great place and atmosphere! Highly recommend! But make sure you make a reservation in advance specially if you are going with a big party! Ive tried to go twice around the new years and both times the place was fully packed and needed a reservation first but it’s worth the wait. The Staff were nice, professional and very cheerful! The food quality was really amazing! The whipped feta is a must! The egg Benedict was so tasty! We also tried the steak and egg and the smoked salmon dip! If you are in Tampa and in the mood for a nice breakfast/brunch this is the spot you shouldn’t miss!

I took my daughter here for her 30th birthday, her waitress was so kind and attentive. It made our experience incredibly special.

The food was great and the steak sandwich was the best. Definitely make reservations or come during the week because the weekends are happening here.

The Oxford Exchange is a fun concept in Tampa. They have an area to make/pour candles (make reservations), a bookstore, a gift shop, a tea bar, a coffee bar, a champagne bar, and a fabulous restaurant. The whipped feta appetizer, served with warm Naan with toasted pistachios, honey, and micro greens, is a 10! The steak sandwich was warm and delicious. The Oxford Exchange is an excellent place for a date or a girl’s brunch. Highly recommend!

Came here on a busy Sunday for brunch. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time before going on a busy day. We waited awhile past our reservations but we were seated where I requested out in the conservatory even though they had said on the phone that there were no guarantees . I took a star off only because it was a long wait and I don’t think they were very prepared for a busy day. However, the food was overall very good (the fries that came with my meal were super dry and over cooked) but the main course was very good. It’s a beautiful place and they had a decent book selection, as well as the tea being well made too. We will definitely come back!

This exploration offers a unique lens into the vibrant culinary landscape, showcasing how these establishments contribute to making the United States a center for innovative Bloody Mary tastes and gastronomic excellence.

Top Bloody Mary Alternatives in Tampa

A Bloody Mary is a cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and other spices and flavorings including Worcestershire sauce, hot sauces, garlic, herbs, horseradish, celery, olives, pickled vegetables, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, lime juice and celery salt. Some versions of the drink, such as the "surf 'n turf" Bloody Mary, include shrimp and bacon as garnishes. In the United States, it is usually consumed in the morning or early afternoon, and is popular as a hangover cure.
The Bloody Mary was invented in the 1920s or 1930s. There are various theories as to the origin of the drink and its name. It has many variants, most notably the red snapper (also called Bloody Margaret), Bloody Maria (made with tequila blanco), and the Virgin Mary.

The Best Bloody Mary in United States

While the Bloody Mary is a classic brunch cocktail, there are several delicious alternatives that have gained popularity in Tampa. These alternatives offer unique flavors and twists on the traditional drink, making them a must-try for any cocktail enthusiast.

Here are the top three Bloody Mary alternatives that are very popular in Tampa:

  • Michelada: This Mexican-inspired cocktail is a refreshing alternative to the Bloody Mary. It combines beer, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and spices like chili powder and black pepper. Some variations even include Clamato juice for added depth of flavor. Served over ice and garnished with a lime wedge and Tajin seasoning on the rim, the Michelada is a tangy and savory drink that pairs perfectly with brunch favorites like tacos or eggs benedict.
  • Bloody Maria: The Bloody Maria is a tequila-based twist on the classic Bloody Mary. Instead of vodka, this cocktail combines tequila with tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and various spices. The tequila adds a unique kick to the drink, and it pairs well with Mexican-inspired dishes like breakfast burritos or chilaquiles. Garnished with a lime wedge and a celery stalk, the Bloody Maria is a flavorful alternative to the traditional Bloody Mary.
  • Sunday Brunch Fizz: This sparkling cocktail is a lighter and more refreshing alternative to the Bloody Mary. It combines gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and soda water, with a splash of tomato juice for a hint of savory flavor. Served in a tall glass over ice, garnished with a lemon wheel and a sprig of fresh basil, the Sunday Brunch Fizz is a fizzy and citrusy drink that is perfect for sipping on a sunny Tampa morning.

These three alternatives to the Bloody Mary offer unique flavors and twists on the classic brunch cocktail. Whether you prefer the tangy and savory Michelada, the tequila-infused Bloody Maria, or the light and refreshing Sunday Brunch Fizz, all three options are sure to satisfy your taste buds and enhance your weekend brunch experience in Tampa.
