  My stylist was friendly and seemed to know her stuff. I went in for a faux hawk but it just didn’t look right. So we changed it to a high fadr.I have hairs on the side that we not even and the front just can’t seem to do anything with. It wasn’t bad bud could have been better. Especially for the price and tip.

  My first time here at Public, I needed a last minute cut for a work event and rolled the dice. I called and spoke with a very nice receptionist who helped me get a same day appointment booked. Landed on a 5:30pm with Bell and walked over after work from FiDi. Major plus that the shop is 5 minutes from work. When I got there they helped me brain storm what I wanted and executed exactly what I asked for. Great haircut and great conversation, will definitely be back.

  My first time. Chiara was a star on phone & in person. I loved my stylist – Bell – instantly. I haven’t liked a haircut in decades. Bell listened to what I wanted & crushed it. Bell’s skills & vibe were upper level. Love my haircut! And it was half the price that I’ve been paying.100% recc & will go back. LOVE❤️

  I had a great experience with Joe. He gave me a great haircut and beard trim, and he’s also the type of barber that can make you feel comfortable and have good conversation.   If I could leave 6 stars, I would. Medardo gave my boyfriend the best haircut he’s ever had. He recommended something new for my man and executed the look perfectly.

  The level of service at this place is also amazing without any feeling of pretentiousness. The barbers are friendly and my boyfriend was offered (and he accepted) a dram of whiskey or two while he had his haircut.

  The environment was filled with timeless vintage decor and furniture. Even the barber chairs were vintage to give that wonderful, welcoming old school neighborhood barber vibe.

  At first, looking at the price ($75) was a lot. After getting a cut from Alain, I realized I was already paying the same price including tip and not to mention, I don’t get the hair wash, whisky and hot towel. Plus side, it’s all appointment based so I don’t have to wait like most barbershops where you sit there for an hour sometimes. Parking was easy and right next to the shop. On the other hand, they don’t do walk- ins unless they have space so I recommend booking online. They do require a card on file to book but I guess it makes sense since they have limited space. All in all, good service, good cut and above average price but you get a lot more than most barbershops.
