  Charles Blades is a great Barber Shop! The place is awesome and has Jazz vibes and a chill atmosphere. Alex is a very professional barber, he knows the right styles and takes the time for the fine details. I used to work in Oakland, but now relocated to SF. It’s all good anyways. I would drive any length of distance to get my haircut from Alex, and the great people of Charles Blades! Best cut I’ve ever got!

  Great spot to get a haircut. Super friendly barbers that really know the city and can give great recs on music and food. usually playing some chill jazz music on speakers which is always nice But most importantly they give a great haircut. While expensive, their Cut and Shave is fantastic with a hot towel and close shave which leaves you feeling quite refreshed and looking sharp. Only downside as I mentioned is the price which is certainly not cheap but if you can afford it, definitely a great spot to be.

  Whether your last barber did ya dirty or you’re fresh to the town, this is a great spot to get a clean cut. Beer, whiskey, water or whatever tickles your fancy is available while you wait. I personally go to James, he’s top tier and even cut my hair after hours. However, based on what I’ve seen, you can’t go wrong with any of the barbers here!

  I’ve been going to CBBS for about eight years. Class A place. Whiskey, beer, filtered cold water, and candy for waiting customers. Great ambiance and usually playing some calming jazz music. I’ve used Bella as my barber for the last 6 years and am always very happy with my cut. Highly recommend

  Wow! Daisy you are amazing!

  I am one of those that is never happy with my haircut. I was hesitant to pay so much for a haircut but I had two prominent reunions coming up and wanted to look my best. I wanted both my hair and beard cut, Daisy spent about 5-7 minutes listening to what I was looking for, then gave me her plan. It was awesome to see her canvassing my head, I could see in her eyes, she was imagining the perfect cut. She said “alright let me cut your hair” and soon after I had the best haircut of my life. I loved it, Daisy loved it and I received a half-dozen compliments that night. Damn Daisy, you know what you are doing!

  I LOVE People’s Barber. The vibe is tremendous and the service is second to none. I always look forward to my visits on a Saturday morning for a great chat and to walk away feeling fresh. Amanda is the best, my hair has started thinning out a bit and she styles it perfectly so that I can still walk around feeling confident in how it looks. Looking forward to my next trip in!

  My first experience was good but when I went second time a lady named Valerie S. Cut my hair and she doesn’t know at all what she did. She ruined my hair and I can say with certainty that she doesn’t know how to cut hair. I freaking paid $61 for a horrible cut. I swear I could have done a better job at cutting myself. Seems like they hire anyone and everyone to cut out hair. HIGHLY HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING. STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO NOT GO. PLEASE BE WISE WHILE PICKING YOUR HAIR STYLISH IF YOU GO

  Enjoyed several times experiences here, with different barbers. I wanted to take the time to also give Eric, a HUGE thank you! Came in with hair down to my chest. He went above and beyond transforming me to a short, but stylish haircut. Even went the extra mile to hot towel and straight blade my neck line and trimmed up my eye brows. I’m a little tight on cash, but needed a fresh cut for some upcoming job interviews. Eric is now my go-to guy and I’ll be back to see him again and again! Can’t say thank you enough!
