8 months agoI would come here only if I needed to next time. Definitely much better Macy’s stores around. Too cluttered, depressing atmosphere, and customer service line for online order pickups took about 15 minutes. Can’t forget to mention the shoplifters that bolted out of the store.a month agoI just relocated in Philadelphia and I love this Macy’s store! Shom helped me with information regarding the item that I purchased, she was so nice and helpful and made me wanna come back again. Also the product that I purchased had amazing quality. Definitely recommend!2 months agoThe worse experience ever. Their employees are THEIFS who stole my money. Very disappointed with Macys management at Roosevelt blvd Philadelphia. It’s all started with one of their cashiers who stole my purchase payment that I made in cash. She somehow charged me extra while using my Macys credit card at the same time when I made the payment in cash for $ 290 I asked Macys supervisor so many time to check the camera and they can clearly see how I made she payment in cash and they employee stole them. Nothing wis done by Macys store manager. I also had call Macys customer service and billing department and they also done nothing for my complain that it started four months ago. For more over they keep asking me to make the payment again. Their costumer service is Very incapable not able to help and solve their costumers problems. So I’m accusing them for STILLING MY MONEY.a week agoUnderstaffed in the shoe department. The salesperson was friendly but overwhelmed. Wasn’t much of a variety, and what they had was not in my size.6 months agoAs a frequent shopper at Macy’s Department Store for many years, I have recently been disappointed by my recent shopping experiences. While the store used to be my go-to for all my fashion needs, it seems that the quality of the shopping experience has declined significantly. One of the biggest issues I’ve encountered is a lack of inventory. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to search through several departments to find what I’m looking for, only to be told that the item is out of stock. This can be extremely frustrating and wastes a lot of my time.
Another issue I’ve noticed is the inconsistency in customer service. While some employees are friendly and helpful, others seem disinterested and uninterested in helping me find what I need. This can be a real turn off, especially when I’m trying to have a positive shopping experience.
In addition, the store itself seems to be in a constant state of disarray. Displays are often cluttered and it’s difficult to navigate through the store to find what I need.
Overall, I have been disappointed by my recent shopping experiences at Macy’s Department Store. While I’ve been a loyal customer for many years, I may need to start looking for a new destination for my fashion needs.

I was in town for the weekend and this was part of a walking Christmas tour. What a beautiful building with so much history and the Charles Dickens London Village was something I wished we weren’t rushed through by our guide. The architecture is stunning and only wished I had time to do a little Christmas shopping, Macy’s has always been my favorite place to shop.
Nicest Macy’s because of history on architecture. A little run down over the years, but hope someday soon it will return to it’s former glory.
This is what a department store should be like. Not the same level of selection as Macy’s 34th street in NYC, but the amazing architecture and history of the building more than make up for it. One can still sense the Wanamaker spirit, and stand in the footsteps of a American presidents.
Personal Styling with Stacy:
I decided to book with the personal styling service recently because I really needed an updated wardrobe. In the past, my experience has been really lackluster—just sort of a short shopping trip and that’s it. Not so with Stacy! We met for a consultation about my wardrobe first, really figuring out why I was in need of personal styling and what I wanted my style to look like, and since have been working together to define my style within what I’ve already got and what I need. I love Stacy’s process and her attention to detail. She’s so great to work with and I’m so happy (and lucky) to have found her!
Customer service wasn’t great. A man from the shoe department told me the price for the shoe when I just wanted the size. Insinuating that I couldn’t afford it when I didn’t even ask for the price. Another sales associate from backstage also gave me attitude when I was paying. And at last, when I wanted a bag since mine broke. I asked a lady for one, and she gave me an attitude, saying she doesn’t give them she sells them. I didn’t appreciate the way they treated me and my son there, and this is also my second time coming to this Macy’s and most likely last time. Only one sales associate was very courteous to me, and that was when I paid in the plus size section. Please treat your customers better!
