a year agoVery nice experience. Yesterday when I vist 40 to 60% discount for several items. Vanity bags are sold for 20$ and even bellow. Another attractive thing noticed was the offer for a credit card along with several offers ( since I am only a visitter to US) I didn’t care but still I feel there some attraction for permenent customers. After 2015 this is the first time I shop from Macy’s I feel a great difference in there approch to the customers and the way they present.a month agoI had an online order to pick up there. Before I left I went online and let the store I was on my way. Went to the pickup area just to the left of the south door. They scand the order code on my phone. When to the shelf and got my order, I signed for it and I was on my way home. Don’t aways have what I’m looking for and some of the quality isn’t always the best. But prices and styles hit that almost perfect balance that makes them worth checking out.2 months agoIt’s nice to have a big store where you can try a variety of stuff on. I’m not sure if it was because of a sale, or not enough salespeople; but the store was chaos. There were a lot of clothes racks near the fitting rooms. So much so, it looked like the fitting rooms were closed. Also, one of the salespeople was scolding women who were trying on clothes to hang them up when they were done. I understand her frustration, but I shouldn’t be scolded for others lack of propriety. Also, Macy’s would benefit from some well placed micro store directories showing where designers are within the Women’s section. It’s a bit of a maze and hard to find where you want to go. The above is why I’ve marked Macy’s down a star, but I really appreciate them being open for in store shopping!!

2 weeks agoFound the shoes I wanted but, when I went to pay for them, there was a sign at the counter that apologized because there was no attendant that day. I was directed to go to the mall food court to get them at a different store. Purchased then on Amazon for the same price. It’s fine if they don’t want my money.4 months agoIt’s macys but it is also just about the only place to get Levi’s jeans that I’ve founda month agoI’m assuming that they were loss prevention they didn’t identify themselves they had no badges or form of identification but yet followed me out of the store and into another. Assumed I was a shoplifter (which I absolutely wasn’t which infuriates me to my core values). Then proceeded to follow me thru the Mall until I had to threaten to get my husband there(because they also said I couldn’t call him on my phone). They were mistaken and accusing me of taking who knows what. I will say this I’m beyond furious and they’re very lucky they didn’t touch me, my husband is a decorated veteran of the Police force and him and his department are very unhappy 😡they will get to the bottom of this Macy’s. You lost a very loyal customer and influencer, my family and I will NEVER shop in any of your tacky, classless, stores again. Thanks for the embarrassment.3 months agoI’ve had an acct with them for at least 20yrs. I used to shop at the store & get help. Today I went to return 2 Bras I ordered O/L. I hate ordering everything O/L cuz it doesn’t always fit. I am physically disabled and cant walk very far. I went to 5 Cash Registers with NO CASHIER ! I finally saw someone on staff & asked them for help. She told me I would have to go to the basement 4 CS for a return. What? In case of an exchange, I need to go to the basement & then back up to 2nd floor to find larger bra sz ? She also told me that they don’t measure U anymore in order to get a good fit. Macy’s has GONE DOWNHILL & I’m fed up with their LACK OF CS !!!2 weeks agoGreat customer service in the store but they *never ever ever* answer the phone if I have a question before I go ahead and drive 15 miles to go there. It drives mecrazy because I never know what I’m going to find (or not find) when I show up and it’s a huge waste of gas/time/resources.

This is a great old school department store that carries many great products. The Bellevue Square location is well stocked, but service has declined since COVID19. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎
Due to Covid, Macy’s isn’t the same. There were fewer sales people & lack of merchandise in various sizes. Luckily I found a few items in the ‘Last Act’ section which is the final price section where there are no returns or exchanges. Essentially sold ‘as is’ & the women’s selection was pretty big. Most sizes were a petite or extra, extra large. The same goes for the women’s shoe department. There were bargains galore!
Slimmer pickings in the housewares and bedding department.
This is the place if you’re bargain shopping.
Update: on my most recent visit I selected a pair of men’s pants and I had to go all the way across the store to women’s shoes until I found a cashier to ring me up. I came across another customer who is also looking for someone to help her. When I was at the register the cashier was trying to multitask and do something on a mobile device for another order while I was waiting for her to finish my transaction. Very disappointing customer service at this store.
I like Macy’s because they have a wide variety of more simple apparel. For example, they have a pretty large selection of Levi jeans here. However, today when I visited this store it was an absolute mess, literally like a tornado just blew through the store or like the store was looted again. Like my photos show there were literally heaping piles of mistreated clothing. I had to go to three different registers in the men’s department before I had to go over to the handbags department to find a register to make a purchase at where I finally found a sales associate to ring me up. The quality of the store seems to get worse and worse.
Macy’s backstage is a treasure trove of bargains, with a wide range of options and huge discounts. You can also find amazing deals on last act sale items that are hard to resist. Macy’s at Bellevue square is a spacious and well-organized store, with multiple sections and floors to explore. Whether you are looking for gifts or treats for yourself, you will find something to suit your taste and budget.
