Been to 4 different car washes since I moved here and this is hands down the best.
Interior- Mega Package
Exterior- Platinum PackageTotal spent: Appox $50. Well worth it.
Time waiting: 45min. For this level of work, it’s what I expected so no issue there.
Without paying hundreds for a true detail, this is about as close as it gets. Overall score: 95/100.
Great results, friendly staff with a very clean and comfy waiting area.
Only a couple of oversights on the interior cleaning, but again this isn’t a true detail. You definitely get a bang for your buck here.
3 months agoI paid for the $50 service which is interior & exterior (up from$27). After the exterior wash they try and convince me to come back to have the interior done because it might take awhile. I explained that I can’t do it at another time and don’t mind waiting but if they want to refund me the interior portion of the fee that would work too. The manager walked over and said it wasn’t possible to refund me a portion. He said it may take an hour or more to get the interior cleaned. I said that’s fine it always takes at least an hour. After an hour he said my car was done. He seemed very unhappy that I had wanted the interior cleaned. He stated “it’s impossible to get all the dog hair out but at least it looks better than it did”. I quickly glanced at the carpet and left. Later I noticed that many areas were not cleaned, as shown in the pictures. I should hope it looks better than it did for $50! Poor attitude and poor service!2 months agoGreat service! They did an awesome job on my SUV and we’re done in about 30 min even with a full garage of other cars. The value for the quality clean and detail was very impressive. 10/10! Will be back!2 weeks agoGood place for a quick wash. Hit or miss on the internal cleaning. Some of the members treat your car as if it were their own, others were too bothered to clean, wipe down, or attention to detail of the tires and rims. I still recommend but pay attention to who’s doing your vehicle.3 months agoThis probably would have been a better experience if I wasn’t in a rush, didn’t have a toddler with me, and didn’t need to get more than a simple car wash done. They said that it would take an hour and it took longer, but they did detailing on the inside of my car and it had been a long time since I had that done. I’m still a little upset that they tossed a blanket that I had attachment to, but I asked them to clear it all out. If I had advocated better as they were cleaning, then it may have gone better. That wasn’t easy while trying to keep a toddler quiet for 1.5 hours. And they were short staffed for the time of day. I am grateful that their waiting room had AC and comfy chairs. It just seemed to take forever. I know that they were slammed with clients all coming in during Spring break, but I should have noticed the majority of people just using the free vacuums and not getting the extra detail work done. That all said, my car is really clean inside and out now. I just need to get a different picnic blanket.

5 months agoNot too satisfied with the services here. Every time I come I never get the results I’m looking for, or pay for. For 50$ I feel like I shouldn’t have to ask anyone to clean my car again on the inside. The only worker there who goes above and beyond to clean my car inside and out is
MR MARQUES” he does an amazing job and try’s to make it right for me. I understand the fast pace movement that needs to be met. But these younger kids are skipping the main focus of customers cars . Which is the INSIDE! I’ve had to ask to get my car re vacuum everytime I have come. And I wouldn’t be coming as much if I DIDNT purchase the membership!

They seemed short staff, so I pulled up to get my car dried no one was able to dry it off. Someone saw I was sitting there for a few minutes and ran out and dried my vehicle. Still pretty expensive but I guess everything is now.4 months agoGuys need to pay a lil more attention , didn’t clean the rear view mirror nor the back of the radio screen. Im a heavy tipper so not sure why not take care of me

I’m a frequent user of the wave! I enjoy the people who work there. Very friendly and always offering an air freshener. There vacuum stations are always stocked with cleaner and towels. They have air guns that work great for cleaning. I’d recommend getting a fast pass the benefits are worth it. I wash almost every day when I’m home.
My experience here was great. The manager Debbie was very helpful. I went to use a coupon code it wouldn’t work she did everything she could. The car wash itself was one of the first ones I’ve ever been through where my car came out actually completely clean. And again Debbie the manager made sure I didn’t need anything else she showed me how to use the machine that cleans your floor mats. Gave me free air fresheners. Made sure I had towels. Overall it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be using them in the future. On the days I’m too tired or too lazy to wash the car myself I’ll definitely be coming here. First time I’ve ever given a car wash five stars
The Wave exterior car wash was excellent and their customer service in the vacuum bays was outstanding. I have never been to a car wash that provided drying cloths and floor mat cleaning on top of vacuums and compressed air. Very impressed. I wish the other Wave locations did the same!
I visited Wave for the first time today. I purchased the basic carwash. I love this place. I like drying and cleaning my own car so I know it’s done to my standards. They provide towels, glass cleaner and free vacuums. The best feature is the compressed air. I use it to blow the water out of the nooks and crannies so there are no dry water spots on the paint by the time you get home. If you keep your car waxed as I do you can use the compressed air to pretty much dry the car off.
Debbie assistant stir manager at Newport News location just had the greatest customer service. Gave us a free car wash cause we had some mud that we blew on the car right after washing. We ended up buying a month pass cause of it.
