  Overall pretty disappointed with my haircut. Very minimal effort was put in and felt like the most rushed experience. I was really excited because the vibe of the building was great, maybe I just got my stylist on a bad day because she didn’t seem too thrilled or to care on how I felt about the cut.. After the cut I gave a meh response, and was told it only looks like that because no product was in it. To be honest it looked the same as I walked in. Shaggy on top but a basic clipper trim was done on my sides… just seemed like there was no care on how I felt. There was also no further suggestions to make it any different. I guess I was hoping to receive a haircut that didn’t require product just to look “okay” and that my satisfaction mattered. The only thing that was offered was if I wanted to buy product on my way out. It was just honestly not a good/comfortable experience at all. Maybe I’d try another stylist, but not sure if It’s worth it at this point.

  I had a great experience with Gunner. He listened to what I asked for in a haircut, was professional and pleasant. I will definitely be going back to him.

  Speaking only on men’s haircuts, this place is consistently good and the staff is all talented. I’ve been going here off and on for 6 years, when I need a good cut or something specific done, I almost always call and see what their availability is first. $20 men’s hair cut with a free 14 day touch up and a shampoo and rinse. That’s a hell of a deal. The entire staff is skilled, I’ve never had a schedule that worked with having one regularly, but I was never disappointed. Ashley was my stylist last time I was there and I highly recommend her. She got exactly what I wanted with out me having to say too much, and helped with product to get as well. Guys, go here. Cheap, quick and good.

  Groom will give you the best men’s haircut you can find in Milwaukee. I have been getting my haircut at groom for about 8 years. As long as I am living within 100 miles of Groom, they will be the only place I get my haircut. I have a unique situation when it comes to hair, I have alopecia areata. It’s not super aggressive, but can make cutting hair for your normal barber/barberette challenging. Not for Groom, and especially Carly. Carly crushes my hair cut every single time. No matter if I have three huge spots of bald on my head or none, the level of care is always top notch. I am sure there are other great barbers/barberettes in Milwaukee, but I am not testing my luck. I am a forever customer at Groom.

  I’ve been going to the same barber for the last 30+ years but traveling in WI, I had to get my hair cut. You would think a buzz cut would be fairly easy but it takes skill and I have to say Mahala cut my hair possibly even better than my hometown stylist. (I’m not going to tell him, though.) I’m very pleased and definitely recommend giving her an opportunity to take care of your hair needs.

  They have gave me the best haircut I have ever had recently. I love this location and the atmosphere here. The stylist I go to is amazing. She has a way about her that is magical. She makes me feel calm when normally I am at a 100 she sets me down to 5. This will be the only place I go to get my haircut and by this stylist. I pray to our good Lord that she becomes so successful and all her dreams come true. You have a lifetime customer.

  Andrea was absolutely amazing. I’m from another state and was in town for a wedding, needed a place to get a proper cut and trim. I can say without a doubt that Stag was the perfect place. I’ve never had a straight razor shave before and I’ve gotta say it was an absolutely wonderful choice.
