Slow service . Nobody cares here anymore after COVID. It’s crazy and not acceptable if you are in the service industry. Macys may need to focus on training their employees a bit better.

One thing to note is that during peak hours, the checkout lines can get a bit long, so it’s best to plan accordingly. The space is quite large, and you can find almost all the best clothing brands selling their products at a discount. Their “backstage” section is particularly noteworthy, as it has some amazing deals on offer. Overall, Macy’s is a great place to find everything you need for your wardrobe at affordable prices.

Went today to get my dad a cologne for his bday. I told the first saleswoman by the JPG colognes about the one he likes but he wants something different and she was like “we don’t carry that here, you can get that at Burlington or marshals.” I told her I’m not looking for that I want something different and she told me to check those stores again. I walked away to go and smell other ones without her help and every display was empty. You have to ask to smell a cologne and they keep you standing there for a few minutes before they come and help you. It got to the point where I ended up leaving and going to Sephora to buy a cologne because every salesperson there was so unhelpful and unknowledgeable about what they were selling. I have never experienced customer service this bad at Macys before.
Didn’t find much discounted options and this time it was a bit expensive.
They might introduce with labour day sale.
Parking in Newport mall is quite reasonable like $4 for 3 hours.
