in the last weekThey were very helpful in helping me get my hands on the new Versace Oud Noir which isn’t really out just yet. It’s where I buy my kids and my man cologne to keep them fresh..9 months agoI’m a bit new to this area but it’s a Macy’s just like many others. I noticed it’s next to Dillard’s, that’s the store I noticed plus JC Penney. I’d like to think that the other side of the mall has other shops which I didn’t care to check out. Outback Streakhouse is right by the mall entrance.3 weeks agoWhat’s happening Macys??? This used to be an upstanding place.. but the way that I saw it was sad.. both escalators were down.. the elevator was broken and the bathrooms downstairs were disgusting.. I couldn’t use it.. I tried calling someone at macys but it would say Noone was available to answer ..then tried to talk to an employee but once again nothing..the backstage area was dirty with clothes thrown and shoes scattered. I think you really should take a look at getting new management. The right management would not let the store look in this array.a week agoGreat service, very nice lady at the makeup counter. They never have my shade of makeup, poor selection of clothing.

a month agoA really sweet Macy’s it is a lot smaller than the original in NYC, but to be honest it is very beautifully organized! The prices range from $3 to $1000 . But to be honest you can find wonderful deals here all the time! The staff is super friendly and always willing to listen.5 months agoIt’s a small Macy’s, had some good sales. I really was just checking that mall out and ended up buying my husband some cologne. There were very few associates to help, but I finally had a lady who was willing to help me with my purchase. I have always loved Macy’s. I so far have not had a complaint.4 months agoI shopped on Friday, the 28th, and was delighted to have Chrissy assist me. I bought perfume. For me, the interaction with the people, are what i value as much as the purchase. Chrissy is calm, confident and a very pleasant person. I do hope i got her name correct! It was early morning. I bought Chanel.4 months agoBought 3 Levi jeans and 4 polo shirts. The sales lady helped throughout the sale. Hearing and visional impaired she helped me locate the merchandise and guided me through the checkout process. Her name started out with an F and she was great at customer service.2 weeks agoHad Alot of back to school deals been doing my shopping mostly there for last ,2 years believe me you feel the difference thanks guys.

This can become an addiction. Today played it safe and did some window shopping. But already have a list. Love the employees here as they are all friendly and professional.
The Macy’s at North Star Mall is probably my favorite Macy’s in town. I feel like their men’s department is larger than most other locations and hence more selections. They also have a decently sized home goods department. The staff here are usually pretty attentive and helpful when you need them to be. The three cons I’ll note are: the escalators tend to be out of order somewhat often, their clearance items (at least in men’s clothing) are very minimal and their Backstage section is always a big mess which just makes the store look sloppy.
The cashiers could be a little bit nicer. I understand they need to let you know about the Macys card when you’re ready to pay. They continue talking about the card while they’re ringing up your items that you’re trying to let them know about your rewards. You mention it at the end and they lecture you how you should’ve let them know in the beginning.
I think the employees should ask if you have the rewards before ringing up your items and NOT give you attitude at the end! Once you let them know that you’re NOT interested getting the Macys card, they should drop it and not continue harassing you.
Everything is so overpriced for Sears quality items.. showed interest in wanting to buy perfume was willing to spend at least $150..I thought I was going to get help.. but then she completely ignored me and went to another customer.. I guess my money is no good there.
I was shopping for a suit for the first time in my life and I had no idea what size, what style, brand etc. I was walking around the section for a while and “Lie” came up and asked me if I needed help. She took time to measure me and tell me my shirt size and helped me find a vest. She made the process so much easier.
